Good news from Syria

Just received a good news from Syria. A Christian village Maaloula, the only place in the world where Christians are still using Armenian language (Bible was originaly written in Armenian language) is freed from Islam terrorists (again). YEAH! Job done by Syrian regular army.

CORRECTION: It's Aramaic not Armenian. (thnx to i_am_free)

I believe you mean Aramaic, not Armenian.

Awesome news...

Another quick correction... if by Bible you mean the New Testament, most of that was probably written in Greek. I believe a good number of scholars think Matthew might have been written in Aramaic, then translated into Greek, but it would be impossible to know any of this for sure. Aramaic was certainly the common language spoken by Semitic people at the time.

You're right. Been lost in translation :)

I will take your word for it.

Thank you for the update!

Good news, indeed! I pray the Syrian people continue to find the strength to endure.
