Harry Reid: "...the anarchists have taken over,”

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Thursday said “anarchists” have taken over Congress.

Reid (D-Nev.) said Tea Party Republicans are preventing progress on an energy efficiency bill by offering amendments on ObamaCare and other unrelated issues.

“We’re diverted totally from what this bill is about. Why? Because the anarchists have taken over,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “They’ve taken over the House and now they’ve taken over the Senate.

“People who don’t believe in government — and that’s what the Tea Party is all about — are winning, and that’s a shame.”

On Wednesday, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) said he would prevent votes on lawmakers' amendments to the energy bill until he's assured he'll get a vote on his amendment, which would require some congressional and executive branch staff to enroll in the ObamaCare health exchanges.

“It’s defund ObamaCare, and I guess as the fiscal year comes to and end that’s what it’s all about,” Reid said.

No. By Those that Dislike Governments Acting Outside Authority

No, Mr. "Harry", Government is being taken over by THOSE that dislike governments ACTING WITHOUT AUTHORITY.

This principle of this "Dissolution of Government" is explained by Locke on Civil government -

See Locke #211 on...

In Full: http://www.americanpatriotparty.cc/Locke_Civil_Government/lo...

Locke #212: "When any one, or more, shall take upon them "TO MAKE LAWS" whom the people "HAVE NOT APPOINTED SO TO DO", they make laws "WITHOUT AUTHORITY",

which the people are NOT therefore bound to obey;

by which means they come again to be out of subjection, and may constitute to themselves a new legislative, as they think best, being in "FULL LIBERTY TO RESIST" the force of those who, "WITHOUT AUTHORITY", would impose anything upon them.

Every one is at the disposure of his own will, when those who had, by the "DELEGATION" of the society (i.e. Original Compact to create the Society), the declaring of the public will, are excluded from it,

and others usurp the place who have no such authority or delegation (acting outside the very limited delegated powers)....."

Samuel Adams:

Absolute Rights of the Colonists 1772:

In Full: http://www.americanpatriotparty.cc/Rights_of_the_Colonists/r...

"...When Men enter into Society, it is by voluntary consent; and they have a RIGHT TO DEMAND AND INSIST upon the performance of such conditions, And "PREVIOUS LIMITATIONS" (i.e. Limited Delegated Powers) as form an equitable "ORIGINAL COMPACT"(i.e. Original Constitution).--

Every natural Right not "expressly given up" or from the nature of a "Social Compact" "necessarily" ceded "REMAINS".--

All positive and civil laws, should conform as far as possible, to the Law of natural reason (LAW OF NATURE) and equity.--"...

.....The inhabitants of this country in all probability in a few years will be more numerous, than those of Great Britain and Ireland together; yet it is absurdly expected [Volume 5, Page 397] by the promoters of the present measures, that these, with their posterity to all generations, should be easy while their property, shall be disposed of by a house of commons at three thousand miles distant from them;

and who cannot be supposed to have the least care or concern for their real interest: Who have not only no natural care for their interest, but must be in effect bribed (MANDATED) against it;

as every burden they lay on the colonists is so much saved or gained to themselves.

Hitherto many of the Colonists have been free from Quit Rents; but if the breath of a British house of commons can originate an act for taking away all our money, our lands will go next or be subject to rack rents (Property Taxes) from haughty and relentless landlords who will ride at ease, while we are trodden in the dirt.

How long such treatment will, or ought to be born is submitted. (it took 4 more years)"

IF “anarchists” have taken over Congress.

why hasn't Reid been sentenced to the Gallows?

Reid's statement is one that disproves itself.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

needs to stop at the congressional px and get some Effordent. Those false teeth keep a click-en and a clack-en.

It's time! Rand Paul 2016!

"Truth, Justice, and the American Way!"

Not yet Harry..

but we are working on it.

Harry will know we have taken over when he is taken away in leg irons.

leg irons

leg irons

Of rather have anarchist in congress

At least they would leave me alone.

At least he had to admit that we're winning!

At least he had to admit that we're winning! Still, it is ridiculous to refer to those who represent the ideals of our founding fathers as anarchists. Just another attack on the beliefs of the constitutionally limited government this republic was founded upon in their conquest for global tyranny.

Democracy Doesn't Work For You, Mr Reid?

Dear Mr. Reid,

So a large number of Americans elected people they knew to be limited government folks because they believe in limited government themselves and you are upset because they are doing what they were elected to do?

How is that a shame exactly? Are you suggesting Congress should just ignore the people?

No need to answer, I already know.

Oh my gosh!

Someone in congress is trying to add unrelated amendments to a bill? How unusual, how outrageous! And they are also trying to force congressional and executive staff to abide by the same swill legislation forced on the rest of us? HOW DARE THEY!!! That is ANARCHY!!!

What a pinhead.

In a recent mises.org daily

In a recent mises.org daily article, the author was talking about anarchists and mentioned about anarchists for private-property aka anarcho-capitalism.

He mentioned that Rothbard being the intellectual mentor of Ron Paul is effectively the 'god-father of the god-father of the tea-party'. So eventhough the tea-party may not acknowledge Rothbard and that some of them might have leanings toward anarcho-communism, it is important to note that the tea-party's political force is directly built upon anarcho-capitalist free-market ideas :)

Here is the (today's) article

Here is the (today's) article -

" Indeed, anarchism’s importance in the political realm is perhaps greater than ever, and its continued relevance again came to the fore in May when Kelefa Sanneh, writing in The New Yorker, discussed the influence of anti-capitalist anarchist David Graeber who has become prominent in the Occupy Wall Street Movement. In his article, however, Sanneh, could not ignore Murray Rothbard, whom Sanneh describes as “one anarchist who could be considered influential in Washington” and as “Ron Paul’s intellectual mentor, which makes him the godfather of the godfather of the Tea Party.”

One can certainly debate Rothbard’s anarchist influence among Tea Partiers themselves, but the importance of Rothbard’s anarcho-capitalist thought within the larger libertarian movement is noteworthy. "

The author finally concludes -
" If some anarchists (anti-capitalist anarchists) believe that the free market cannot exist without the state, and others believe that the state is the great enemy of free markets, then what is anarchism?

If all anarchists truly are united by opposition to a coercive state, then perhaps the question is irrelevant. For as libertarian anarchists know, a stateless society is likely to naturally produce widespread, complex, and successful markets. The anti-capitalist anarchists will simply be proven wrong, although they might perhaps be thanked for their service in opposing the state. "

If anarchists have taken over

can they appoint a Chief Abolisher to prepare and forward the memo that everyone in DC doesn't need to come back to work ... ever!

Abolisher in Chief

I stand corrected.

Music to my ears.The irony

Music to my ears.

The irony is, if Anarchy is lawlessness, than the truest expression of Anarchy is total government. Because in a tyranny, there is no rule of law as the elite do whatever they please and law become an arbitrary excersize of an individual aristocrat's will.

The closer to "0" government you get, the more "rule of law" there is, as the fewer people are above it.

In my opinion, we've had it backwards all this time. On one side, you've got total government AND anarchy. On the other you have 0 government, and rule of law.

They have an unreasonable lack of demands

What is an Oxymoron

As he said in his simpering NPR voice;
"the anarchists have taken over”,
Harry Reid didn't realize anarchism means no leaders at all to take over anything.

Cripes, of Course Not. He's a Politician

Notice the guy behind him, he's Reid's puppeteer. If you look closely, you can see Reid's lips move in synch with the hand movements of the puppeteer. Unless of course the guy is swatting at the flies swarming around the stench coming out of Reid's mouth. Your pick.

If Harry Reid is angry...

then someone must be doing something right.

"Government is not inherently bad...."

wow... what a mind f....

@ 1:23 mark..

Let me untwist your words for you Harry....
Government IS NOT inherently GOOD...
Government IS inherently BAD.

(AND now) you are correct... " and THAT'S why we have a Constitution."
(which you do NOT respect nor follow).
Take a hike you bootlicking weasel.

Hilarious! The more stupid shit like this these

assholes spout, the less people take them seriously. It's great press for the good guys....

What would the Founders do?

if only that were true...

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Thursday said “anarchists” have taken over Congress." i wish they did, then we would have no "congress", but since we do have a congress still, that statement is invalid, nice try though.

I use Blue Wave, but don't expect one of THEIR silly taglines.

I "believe" in the Government Harry.

I just don't trust them, or you.

Dear Senator Reid, You Can Keep Your Government.

We don't want it because it's been corrupted and perverted by you and your ilk. You and the rest of the inbred fascist syndicate are prostitutes of tyranny and we want you to disappear forever.

Goodbye, so long, don't let the door hit your butt on the way out.

lol! Posted video here

You might want to add the Youtube video found here:

I imagine our anarchist friends had no idea that they've even taken over the Senate!
