Bombing for Peace: Syria strike better than nothing? (ft. Human Rights Watch CEO)

Chemical weapons have horrified mankind since their first widespread use almost a century ago. The world has come to recognize their use as a flagrant violation of international law. As the US once again beats the drums of war towards Syria, we ask how justified such an intervention is, given the conflicting evidence and the widespread opposition to it. Will a strike help stop the war, or will it drag the whole region into a more brutal and protracted conflict? To wrestle over these issues, Oksana is joined by Kenneth Roth, the Executive Director of Human Rights Watch.

RT (Russia Today) is a global news network broadcasting from Moscow and Washington studios. RT is the first news channel to break the 1 billion YouTube views benchmark.

*** Not that I ever stopped looking at them with skepticism, and setting aside the fact that the man's criticism of Russia's own past crimes be not excused, especially when pointedly being questioned by an official Russian state govt TV network, that said, when an organization called "Human Rights Watch," whom on the surface, states that they would not take an official position (always prudent, unless you yourself can verify incidents that require evidence to prove its veracity) on the currently unfolding situation in Syria, but at the same time, its executive director Kenneth Roth is so adamant that there's not even a possibility that CIA-backed rebels could ever launch a false flag chemical attack, should be wholly disturbing to anyone who's ever donated or saw this group as some morally principled NGO (yes, no such thing, but for the sake of argument, y'all get the gist).

Well, to be fair, as it is the personal view of its executive director, which in no way equates to commonly held views among its rank and file, nor their donor base. Still, Kenneth Roth has headed the organization since 1993, and has already expressed his own personal bias, through HRW's activism or lack of it in the past already. Plus, looks like he's another closet, 'soft'-Likunik, but nevertheless, a full blown AIPAC-lackey.

As such, to those who may have donated to Human Rights Watch in the past, may want to be aware of it, maybe even stay away, and/or watch 'em like a hawk, as long as Ken Roth is still heading that outfit, IMHO.

Keep an eye on Oksana Boyko; she's been kicking ass and takin' names. She is what a fierce anchor/host should sound like. Well, should at least deploy similar type of questions, at bare minimum anyway.

Recently, Oksana also took Michio Kaku to task, rather nicely: Michio Kaku, famed Theoretical Physicist, All Theory, No Physics: How DARE You question the Official 9/11 FairyTale!

That said, like she'd ever take Putin to task, for his 'alleged' involvement in the assassination of a noted Russian journalist/ardent critic of Putin himself: Anna Politkovskay, or the soft-kill assassination of Alexander Litvinenko, or the fact that he DID in fact order 'his' FSB to deploy a REAL chemical warfare agent against 'his own' civilian population, 'to save them', and not to mention his alleged false flag...AGAINST HIMSELF, to boost his image.

Well, as with these things, always look to foreign press to get a sense of what's really going on in America, but look here, for criticism of outside countries.

lol.

Well...okay, so oversimplified and...not really. But, y'all get the gist. LOL...er.. .o/

Yea, if you actually take

Yea, if you actually take time to think about it, it makes no sense for that gov to have used chemical weapons. The only exception to this would be if Assad is unstable or what would have to be the most arrogant man in the entire world, but that seems rather unlikely.
They didnt use them when they were losing, why use them when they are winning? Especially since he knows the reaction from the world community if he did. Not to mention to only use them in a single incident isnt likely either. If they were going to use them, they would likely do it more than once.
In the end, I wouldnt be suprised if either Russia, China, or whats most likely, the US, has satellite surveilance of the area when the attack occured and knows who was attacking who from where.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

YES! Seriously, $88 BILLION in annual surveillance bill

and these monkeys can't tell or show us ANY applicable intel that they've apparently been gathering 'for our own safety' for all these years:

In the end, I wouldnt be suprised if either Russia, China, or whats most likely, the US, has satellite surveilance of the area when the attack occured and knows who was attacking who from where.

so...the solution? Let's pay them more...just so that they can't catch anything or anyone! yay!

to me govt has always been murderously comical, but seriously, slightly rhetorical, but shouldn't their ubiquitous absurdity be obvious, even to the most brainwashed of the sheeple?

isn't it about time, everyone, whenever someone mentions the word "govt" that immediately invokes the a "brand" that you associate the most disgust with? Imagine if Ted Bundy & Charles Manson were a Milk brand: like would you give your child that?

I will forever not 'get' how it is that in the hopelessly consumerist culture in America, that they never got to the point of judging govt like any other brand. And, frankly, considering all 'their' resources, they truly have the worst PR department; hell, think Charlie Sheen has a better PR-person than the US govt. LOL.

If the "Muslim terrorist" threat were actually genuine...

AIPAC would already be a not-so-fond memory. Tell THAT to the next neocon you meet.

LOL. Well, that'd be only if they actually understood real logic

the evil PNAC-type policy-wonk/planners/schemer-types? sure. okay...maybe xD

but their RINO run of the mill rank-and-file-sycophants?

utterly clueless and willfully ignorant.

just a guild of idiot go-along-to-get along who don't really know why they're FOR the things they're for, other than that they've been told that they should be for it.

Still, chucking verbal venom their way is a fun past time xD

Though, sometimes, it's hard not to feel feel sorry for 'em, because it's obvious that most of those dickheads are mainly just another in a long line of 'unresolved daddy-issues' pussy pansies who never got any action in high school, now feigning, talking 'tough' shiit, to overcompensate: apparently those pussy sociopathic nerds delude perpetually, 'temporarily'-appeasing their now non-existent lunch money bullies, would in fact make them feel like that they're part of their [imaginary] 'club.'

Pity.

"WarWHORE; Says It's a

"WarWHORE; Says It's a "Conspiracy" that Rebels can Launch Chem.Attack!"

Why?
Will God in all his infinite wisdom, curtail the series of events that would supply said rebels and then smite them a second before its use

Not a dig at god, but a dig at someone that implies a thing as impossible, when the thing implied is far and above, anything BUT.......thus lighting suspicion on the person and the use of the word "conspiracy theory"

NOBODY who argues the rebels, is speaking on definitives, ONLY possibilities, it is YOU who are talking in definitives to assad that make us clearly see your blinding contrast and uninterest the realm of POSSIBILITY that it was NOT assad, and if it WAS NOT assad, then the WAR machine becomes a TOOL to be used for CONTROL, and NOT a DEFENCE ones nation from another aggressive nation......guess where the US government fits there?

I said it before, and i'll say it again, knowingly or not, they are their own worse enemy

LOL. Ken's so certain

because he PROBABLY (no assertive certainties there, simply a historically informed extrapolation as to plausible likelihood) Ken knows that his AIPAC supporting REAL terrorist parties who actually can nudge policy and mobilize State/Leviathan-enacted actors w/direct access to MIC weapons contractors, are PROBABLY the ones who committed the alleged atrocities.

"I said it before, and i'll say it again, knowingly or not, they are their own worse enemy"

- Well, only if the rest of the soccer-moms and last generation of 'American Applepie-goodness' sweet but MSM-naive pre & post WWII-generation only STOPPED believing in almost everything they get propagandized with via MSM, the world would be less prone to be deluged with provocateured wars of choice.

Otherwise, while obviously not wholly indicative/representative of political zeitgeist though a limited snapshot of it that it maybe (also setting aside the obvious sockpocket troll comments), but those with real YouTube avatars commenting in the YT-comment boxes out of more prioritized concerned for NOT being rude/obnoxious/mean to a FACTUAL WARCRIMINAL, whom apropos of the currently unfolding situation in Syria: facilitated arms and financial aid DIRECTLY to Al-CIA-duh in Syria via FSA/Al-nusra, as seen in the following?

<3 <3 When Pitchforks go Wild: CUNY Students scream "War Criminal POS!" as Gen. Petraeus jaywalks away like a Douchebag!

World's full of delusional assholes. But in the field of geopolitical commentary, it's made wholly worse by their utterly moronic boisterousness of their ignorance; in fact, they're more prone to screaming and screeching and lecturing others with their moronic world-views, especially more viciously against those who are obviously FAR more informed/geopolitically-aware.

It's literally as if, IF they don't propagate, no, FERTILIZE the world with their moronic views, their own internal worldview is threatened, almost like a women whose biological clock is running out of time; always found that to be hilarious: like a promiscuous panspermia of evil, utterly delusional, moronic twisted, insecure internal worldviews hoping they manifest, so others too busy overpopulated w/turd ideological offsprings, hopefully never truly examine how empty they are.

Aww... psycho-projecting warWHORES: so deathly adorable.

Now, if those frakkers actually had a code of honor, they would have long committed mass seppuku, eons ago. But come on: self-correcting assholes? When did the world ever have those? LOL

But still, wouldn't that be a sight to behold: assholes voluntarily choosing to rid themselves from the world's woes?

LOL...er..rightie-o. .o/
