Hey, but look at it this way: on a brighter note, they 'only' shot TWO innocent bystanders, instead of NINE+, like last time!

Improvement! Yay! LOL...er..

If one had to guess what the NYPD's official response might be? I'd say it'll be something between; oooh oooh oooh! ahhhh ahhhh ahhhh!

And...the predictable: 'It's all the dept.-mandated 12lbs-ish trigger's fault! But, we always right: of course, we can shoot and murder innocents and getaway with it, as long as our insurance company covers us!'

Yay! USA! USA! USA! wooo! wooo! wooo! ugha-bugha! ugha-bugha!

Hope New Yorkers would StartPage.com search "LA Times + Maywood, CA," more often.

Because, there will come a time when NYPD/NYC City Hall won't be able to pay out the $1BILLION of stolen taxpayer wealth for THEIR '#honestmistakes' and murders; at this rate, they too will go the way of Maywood, CA.

Though, if they were honest, it'd be: yes, we hire fcuking morons who couldn't get a job flipping burgers at your local Micky D's.

And, even for those who can tie their shoelaces among them, their official excuse should be, at best: "lack of training"

Common delusion among them??

NYPD Officer: " “If you're not a terrorist, if you’re not a threat, prove it “This is the price you pay to live in free society"

Seriously, NYPD has got to be staffed, by volume, the biggest amount of moron Nazi fascist a-holes of any large metro city.

Well, in fact, they are the largest PD in the world; can't recall, but if NYPD were an army, I believe they came in within top 50 (by size, beyond the 35,000-ish polyester cosplay costumed goonsquad that they routinely cite + including all their non-combatant logistical support) among world's nations; well, apparently Biitch Nannyberg seems to delude that he's got "HIS OWN" "seventh biggest army in the world"!!!

But of course, we're talking govt, as usual, they fail upwards; they're given even more 'money,' 'legal' leeway, and toys:

Police officers shooting at what appeared to be an emotionally disturbed man in New York City's Times Square accidentally struck two innocent bystanders instead, police said today.

A cell phone video shot at the scene shows officers chasing the 35-year-old suspect Saturday night in the midst of one of New York City's busiest intersections, weaving in and out of traffic in what police said looked like an attempt to get hit by a car.

"One officer saw him out in the middle of the street, he obviously was causing a disturbance," NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said in a news conference. "Cars were trying to avoid him... It appeared that he wanted to be struck by the cars."

When officers approached the suspect, he appeared to reach into his pocket to draw a gun. Two officers then fired a total of three shots, ABC station WABC-TV in New York reported. While they missed the man, they accidentally hit two women instead.

One woman, 35, was grazed by a bullet, while the other woman, 54, was shot in the knee. Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The 35-year-old woman was treated and released, according to WABC-TV. But the 54-year-old woman, who needs a walker to get around, remains in stable condition at the hospital.

Ultimately, officers were able to subdue the man with a Taser, WABC-TV reported. He was taken into custody at Bellevue Hospital, where he was being held for observation.

The officers involved in the incident have been on the force for one year and three years, respectively, WABC-TV reported. The names of the women injured as well as the man in custody have not been released. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
