Unsettling Truth About Electronic Toll Tags

E-Z Passes Track Vehicles In New York Even Off Toll Roads.

Citizens of New York who use these passes may not realize they are being tracked.

But I'd be willing to bet that New York is not the only state with this issue.

Here in Washington State there are those in the state legislature who are advocating that drivers be required to have GPS units in their vehicles which would calculate every mile driven.

Then the State (or even Federal) Dept. of Transportation could tax drivers accordingly.

I imagine they would know WHERE vehicles are at all times as well.
