Kickstarter Says No To GMO

It's official - GMOs aren't welcome on kickstarter.com. From their Guidelines and Requirements:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/guidelines?utf8=%E2%9C%9...
Projects cannot offer genetically modified organisms as a reward. (Updated 7/31/2013)

So now if you are trying to paint a still life of fruit, they have to be non-GMO?

Cartoons drawn with squid ink? Better not be GMO.

And those cool pictures of microscopic life? One of them is bound to be GMO.

Seems like kickstarter is tying the hands of its creative base. For the sake of the artists - please reconsider GMO.

Awake people over at kickstart

I am trying to do my part by not buying GMO poison, and when people ask me why I have no more honey to sell. I make sure they get an ear full on how deadly GMO's are to bees and all life.

I must have 10 people ask for honey everyday, maybe I'll get the message out GMO's kill.

Gold standard: because man can not be trusted to control his greed

But their id verification process is a bit weird...
