Justin Amash: How to Keep the Constitution

"When I entered Congress, I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution, and I have followed through on that promise. The political elites of both parties don’t like what I’m doing. They have a vision of government that is very different from the vision laid out in the Constitution. As the elites see it, the American people are their subjects, and a benevolent privileged few—standing above the law—must watch over the rest of society."

It looks to me like it is a natural process for governments

to grow and grow and grow until they become intolerable and citizens revolt.

Most of civilization has been some form of the system of ruler and serf. Periods that can be described as free are short in comparison, and no matter what document guarantees continuation of freedom, freedom is subverted and the some form of slavery replaces it. After all, slavery is very profitable for the masters. The only difference today is that many people still cling to the delusion that they are free because they can vote for their rulers from the list provided them by their rulers.

The US was doomed from the start, and if we rise up and hang these thugs that have captured us and taken our wealth, any new form of government we institute, no matter how well intended, will eventually become tyrannical and institute some form of slavery.

Perhaps part of the problem is that when positions of power are created they attract sociopathic and psychopathic personalities, who have little problem in ignoring any Constitution and taking the wealth of the citizenry for themselves and their friends.

I for one would like to see us try no government at all for a change and see what happens. Could anarchy be worse than what hierarchy repeatedly has brought us?

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.

A money-bomb to buy

A money-bomb to buy a state or territory, I will gladly chip in and move there. It would be like a Liberty Commune, which I would enjoy for the rest of my life :-)

I would prefer warm climate to grow gardens, ocean front, if possible :-)

NH is too cold!
