Can you guys help me out?

I know I'm not one of the most popular folks around here. People like to either a) ignore me, or b) take a hostile position towards me simply because I hold a contrary opinion to them.

I've been singled out and victimized!

Maybe it's because I'm a dog?

Just kidding. (Not) Ok.

Is this species-ism?

Are dogs not, on some level, equal to us? We share a very fundamental thing with all of life.

That is life itself!

This is all I'm saying, family of love. Help me find this video. It is an interview of Jim Grant. I'm pretty sure, done by Mario Bartoromo. (I could be wrong) (Maybe I invented an imagination of this interview?)

(It is hard to tell these days, what is real and what is not).

Is it not?

Jim Grant is basically telling her how he got blindsided. It is touching. He sounds so wistful. His was the final bubble to pop - after all the optimum of the internet boom/bust, then the housing boom/bust, finance/bust, and the commodities boom/bust... Jim was the last man standing. And making such a dignified stand! In a bow-tie and alll! Defending Gold as the final refuge.

They say that patriotism is the last refuge / To which a scoundrel clings / Steal a little and they throw you in jail, steal a lot and they make you king!

And then, - poof - that one popped, too.

I saw it. I heard it, pop in that interview. He is so wistful. "I didn't see this coming."

Not shown in any chart - but major technical damage done by the tells in that interview. Faith cracked.

That is just what I remember seeing.

Help me out here, someone Please? Goldspan?

I realize I'm in danger of becoming someone that people reflexively vote down. At least I'm not that bad. The Granger currently serves that role here. The scapegoat. She's easy to beat up on. Almost too easy.

There are a lot of red herrings, floating out in this red sea that we know as the Daily Paul.

How will you know the truth?

Everybody's got a choice to take.
Everybody's got a chance to love.
Everybody's got a chance to lie.

But the choice you make
It ain't no pice of cake
it ain't no piece of pie!

It aint know mutherfucking! Mutherfucking! Piece of Pie!

Wow. That is a powerful song. He could really pack a punch sometimes, that Prince...

Help me find the video. I'm going to look now, too. I would like to know your unbiased opinion of it.

Of course the gold perma-bugs will be against examining such a video. I want to see that interview again!

Rare voices of reason are often squelched.

Don't think this makes you special.

For me, Mike Maloney provided the key clue, IMO.

A few months back he reported that banks were holding $2 Trillion in excess reserves.

They can cover a lot of margin bets with $2 Trillion.

If their agenda is to discredit Gold and Silver as an asset, then we buy low and hold.

I did a YouTube search for Jim Grant

Did you realize YouTube is the second biggest search engines?

There are a couple of interviews with the money honey. I can't watch them now because I have to go to bed. Maybe you could watch them and tell us which one (if any) it is?

#1

#2

I think it might be #2. I think I might stay up to find out :)

So far in #2, he's said

This will end in immense inflation. This will end in immense destruction of wealth.

I agree completely with the latter. But the former, I'm not so sure about. I don't know what will be the destructional weapon of choice.

Damn tricky, those guys.

But I think I remember seeing this, too.

All that around 3:45.

Price of gold was 1585 in that video.

I don't know when that was, but I'm pretty sure it is lower than that now.

Gets good at 5:00

The market always wins in the end!

The fed is in the business of suppressing prices, but it will lose in the end to Mr. Market!

I'll watch the rest tomorrow. Or someone watch it and tell me about it.

I would love to hear your take on it.

This is a great interview!

I have seen this before. It played better in the height of emotion. He hit a nerve at the time. Now, since the world hasn't ended, things look a little different. That is understandable. We have new information.

That was a great interview, but no wistful admission of defeat did I see. :(

Ok, I'll watch #1 before bed. This is interesting.

Here it comes in #1, I think

Right around 4:00

"Hats off to the bears who saw what I didn't see."

"But did the market go down because of 'psychology' or market analysis?" - Clearly defensive.

Another good lecture.

But clearly defensive. Then he spills it:

"I am clearly a great gold bull, and I am chagrined, and I regret that I ddn't see what was coming, but..."

He's the man.
