Here is the exact question - please verify it before voting

*******************************************
In the Florida debate Senator McCain said "we have american troops all over the world today and nobody complains about it because we are defending freedom. Thats one of the obligations of being the worlds super power."

Do the rest of you agree with Senator McCain and if so, what amount of taxpayer money will you allocate for this obligation?

Do you believe that a majority of American taxpayers also feel this obligation and want to fund the defense of freedoms across the world, while we lose our own.

*******************************************

I think this is a killer question because
1.) It forces yes or no answer to the obligation question -
2.) It picks up both moral and fiscal thinkers
3.) It sets up RP very nicely because of his positions on this

We have #1 in most popular. Lets get this to #2

i think his is a good question also

21. Question on: Economy
USA Today has said that we will need to obtain $58 Trillion by 2040 to cover our current and future debts. Our future debt will total about $400,000 per household, I for one do not have this kind of money. David Walker, Comptroller General of the United States, says that we "face a tsunami of spending due to the retirement of the baby boomers, and every year we don't act the number goes up $2-3 Trillion." If elected President, how will you do major reducing in spending? (Sorry John McCain, just cutting pork barrel will not be nearly enough)

Another bury brigade at work?

It IS a good question but not specific enough

They will ALL have memorized responses to the how will you cut spending question. They are masters at it.

Besides the american public has no strong cohesive opinion on where to cut spending - Im hoping people realize its better to cut it overseas than here at home.

Thats what RP said in the last debate. This question is designed explicitly to draw out that point.

good point

anyway, can you help with this too http://election.msn.com/ romney is winning.

yeah by 9%

It will not let me vote - just shows the results. Maybe its coz I already voted?

thanks zackmario. hey this

when we pushed our question through yesterday (its now at #1). If you havent voted for it, please do to keep it at #1

I just looked and it was at

I just looked and it was at #11. Any idea how many questions arre going to get pulled from this poll?

BTW, have you seen this?

Top video is a must see. Look at the credentials of who are speaking.
No wonder McCain is willing to stay in Iraq for "100 years"...looks like he'll sell out just about anyone.

Just hit refresh and vote

Just hit refresh and vote away...obviously the NASA geek did.

fell to 51

keeping bumping it

no, you have to click on the most popular button

to see the real oder.

What you are seeing is just the sequence. #51 means that there were 51 questions submitted after this one was.

NASA questions?

What is up with all the NASA/space exploration questions? There are currently 5 about this out of the top 15 most popular, basically the same question listed under multiple categories. Did NASA send out an internal memo to their employees? There is NO WAY that people care that much about this!

BTW, your question is still at 13, and yes I voted for it.

Upon reading further down

Upon reading further down the list, there are 9 Q's on this topic in the top 25. I'm sure the space program is the most important question on EVERYONE'S mind right now. After refreshing the screen I realized you can vote for the same question more than once...must be some idiot who's afraid he's going to get laid off.

hmm, you should not be able to cast your vote for the same quest

ion more than once. If I try it says you have already voted for this question. Theres no way they would have left that gap open coz it would make the most popular list meaningless.
You can vote for multple quesitons though.

im worried about this NASA

im worried about this NASA question. i hope this has nothing to do with "starwars" project by donald rumsfeld, installing nuclear missiles from space.

well lets keep bumping the question
