**Ron Paul Campaign Announces Two Additions to Leadership Team

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Ron Paul Presidential Campaign today announced two key additions. John Tate is now national political director and Mark Elam has joined the team as national media director. Tate is a 25-year veteran of Republican politics. He has worked on dozens of local, state and national campaigns, was a key organizer in Pat Robertson’s 1988 presidential bid, and ran for Congress in 1986. Mr. Tate was instrumental in the Paul campaign’s top tier finishes in Nevada and Louisiana.

Mark Elam is a veteran Texas political consultant and a long-time aid to Dr. Paul. Mr. Elam serves as campaign manager to Dr. Paul’s congressional re-election campaign. In 1996, Mr. Elam directed Dr. Paul’s historic victory of Democrat-turned Republican Greg Laughlin in the district 14 congressional race.

“John Tate and Mark Elam bring tremendous leadership and expertise to our campaign,” said Dr. Paul. “Their addition to our management team will help catapult us to even greater heights of success.”

Yeah!!

Its starting

Its happening, its starting, this is the begining. Anyone else feel it?

yes. Yes. YEs. YES. Yeeessssssee.

It also comes across like they are true advocates and not some hired PR people.

'I always thank of all you canvassors and precinct leaders and delegates who were at the front line and caucuses.
Good luck out there &Thank you. You're a gift.

new blood

with these new additions, i'm feeling a new buzz going on. let's contribute to the campaign like crazy to help pay for these new people, and hopefully more to come.

If this is like 1976, there is no Gerald Ford to beat our Ron

Wikipedia says the last brokered Republican convention was 1976 where the incumbent Gerald Ford faced Ronald Reagan. As much as Mitt likes to invoke the name of Ronald Reagan, my former commander-in-chief, you sir are no Ronald Reagan. Along with Mr. Tate and Mr. Elam, I'm also very encouraged by the two new economics staffers, Don Luskin and Peter Schiff as mentioned at: http://www.dailypaul.com/node/30040
They all have been working very successfully somewhere else until this moment in the campaign so they show us they have faith which I will reward on either 2/1 or 2/3. They will push the economic message to the public with increasing legitimacy and urgency just as it needs to be heard.

The past 3 weeks have been frustrating but I see the trends Dr. Paul helped along Thu. night by sticking a "poison barb" into McCain to fester for a while. The public will doubt he has any understanding of government influence over the economy and gravitate to Romney who pulls away from everyone with over 130 delegates after FL with the nomination a "fait accompli" as Rudy and Huck drop out. McCain will loose support as the economy worsens and fade away as the public comes out of its immigration amnesia especially with all the media comparisons of "almost no difference" with Hillary. At that point, it's just the Doc and the best earphone coaches money can buy going into the convention.

I early voted yesterday here in FL for Dr. Paul with a smile on my face. This is far from over and I'm in it until the end. Run Ron Run!

I'm praying

That now that he's got a few bulldogs on his team Paul will be on more often in the media. It's hard to say.

great news!

:-)

They are spending Wisely to Win

Time to Go for the Gold and give them more to spend! We want top people---they cost money---I read Huck was paying his guy $25,000 a month. Let's Go!

Elam is a miracle worker

If he's partially responsible for Paul's victory in Texas, Paul needs Elam.
Elam is a miracle worker, talk about beating the odds.

If you read the news article you'll know what I'm talking about:

This is going to be good, I think we shall expect to see more of Paul in the media with these guys.

Now this is good news

With all the money please send Ron to a speaking class for the weekend. He needs a refresher on debates.

He also needs to just get pissed off and shout at someone on stage JUST ONCE!

I know Dr. Paul has a fire in his belly. Thompson is out for his lack on one.

Time to be the Ron of '88 for just a couple weeks.

Ron missed a golden

Ron missed a golden opportunity when he quizzed John McCain and McCain flubbed it. Ron should have immediately countered that the people he (McCain) mentioned were on the committee, and why didn't he know that?

Maybe we need to give Ron a shot of Sylvester Stallone-approved HGH before he gets into the next debate. He could benefit from just a little attack politics, don't you think? He's already involved in an undeclared media war.

Most people don't watch the debates

What's important are the rumors and main stories that pull from there.
Paul is a chessmaster, he can always pull this attack from his portfolio on McCain if he wants to, if he needs to do it.

The main rumor that came from this debate was how well Romney did, but also the whisper. Expect Colbert to jump in on this whisper thing on monday. No one is talking about McCain, only the dumb blonde talking head on MSNBC, that's it.

Romney got burned very badly on Bill Maher's show about the "who let the dogs out" bit. I think the media is sinking their teeth into Mitt and he'll get slapped hard too. McCain will get some of it as well, maybe by CNBC or other financial shows. We'll have to wait until monday to see.

All that said and done, Paul didn't have any negatives from the debate, that's what is important. Every other Republican candidate got hit, even Huckabee's easter egg coment is getting legs. Paul is being safe, slow, and steady.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Better than what they have

Better than what they have now. I hope they put the other fellas out to pasture now.

This is great news

I hope it is not too little to late. Everybody needs to keep working and informing voters. Get out and canvass in your state.

planning

You all have to realize that there is a lot going on at HQ that we don't know about. I am sure a man that has won 10 terms in congress is not just now starting to make plans for this run. You have to know that there have been strategies and plans all along. Little by little these are emerging. This is no fly by the seat of your pants campaign. This is one very smart, informed and competitive man. He won't let us down! He has sat back and waited for us to feel the fire and listen to his message. (he is attacking and the other 4 don't even realize it!) Now he can go full bore into this! Keep the faith, my friends, we are going to win!

Formerly rprevolutionist

I trust they'll employ their

I trust they'll employ their strategy in very short order? We cannot afford any more delays... our candidate is fading into vapors before our very eyes. Let's stir it up!
