We have this dilemna of having to live with each other in a society.
You know, the whole problem of not being able to get everything done on our own, needing each other to survive.
We don't expect perfection, but there's a minimum basic standard. There's a line that once crossed can't be uncrossed.
Can't put it back together again once its broken.
People on the left and the middle want to know why we want to say no to everything, don't believe in government, all that refrain.
"Don't repeal it, fix it" they say about national healthcare.
You know what? Lots of us would like better healthcare. God knows we're not rich.
It isn't about money.
It isn't about facts.
Both sides can put out their doctored up academic studies with plenty of footnotes.
We don't have the time to read them let alone the expertise determine their veracity.
It isn't even about philosophy for most of us.
It's about broken trust. Learning from experience.
Fool me twice, right?
We don't trust you, we know the game. We'd rather be broke and on our own than be fools.
So keep your healthcare, keep your fixes and projects.
Get real jobs. F-ck off, and leave us alone. You need us, we don't need you.
