On Wednesday's show we talked about the lengthy sourced article published by previous guest of the show and owner of Shield Mutual, George Donnelly, whereby he indicated Adam Kokesh was no longer a client, and Adam's business associates have allegedly robbed Adam's business/legal defense/ and personal accounts to the tune of $50,000.00, while Adam continues to languish in a federal jail cell.

However the story gets even more bizarre with the inclusion of an undercover federal agent, gang members, contract fraud, etc.

The Allison Bricker Show has secured an interview with Christopher Cantwell a close personal friend of Adam, who will join me on Thursday's show right after the top of the hour 7pm Est. news.

Any further updates will be published to this post.

Does he own ATVM or not?

If he owns ATVM and employees operating as ATVM did it, Adam shares responsibility.

Either Adam is responsible and accountable for ATVM or he isn't. I think the Sheild guy explained it very clearly. Adam can't have it both ways.

SteveMT's picture

Kokesh has been held in abeyance for months.

"Adam's business associates have allegedly robbed Adam's business/legal defense/ and personal accounts to the tune of $50,000.00, while Adam continues to languish in a federal jail cell."

"Adam can't have it both ways," but Adam can't be in two places at once either. The cat was away, and so the mice have played. Adam is helpless to do anything right now except hold his sanity together.

I don't disagree.

However, it's either his company or its not. He's still liable for what his company does or is at risk as to what it does to itself. It's unfortunate, but the Shield guy is absolutely correct from a 3rd party corporate perspective.

This is why you need to make good business decisions when you can and not hire yahoos. It's too bad, but it's no one's fault but Adam's own for hiring who he did.

lol

Right on, I shall blame it on sleep deprivation, thank you for being my copy-editor on the fly. :)

I thought the same thing

when I read the headline....

I'm really pissed off at the abuse

I'm really pissed off at the abuse of Adam in this unfortunate incident.

I guess it's my job to deliver the uncool truth here

and this whole Shield bullshit insurance screams nonsense.

Evidence or Rhetoric?

What is your basis for making such a statement, a Michael Chertoff "gut feeling" or do you have some evidence as to why we should have reason to doubt the validity of Mr. Donnelly's documents?

If it is the latter, please feel free to pass any documents you may have as I would like to understand whether your disdain has standing and make sure the listeners get the full story.

Have you thought at all about why this lawyer would hang on for

so long, after all this fishiness started, which was nearly immediately?

Was he just holding out so long after the due date for payment because it was Adam Kokesh?

Of course things take time, but it's been a long time, or at least a long-enough amount of time for a demonstrably rational and intelligent person that this lawyer claims to be to figure out that he's being ripped off.

The lawyer spent all the hours and days necessary to organize and assemble this lengthy and detailed document, designed to cover his own butt, while money was being stolen and a man he was hired to protect was rotting in a cell.

Pandacentricism will be our downfall.

hmm

is the guy really a lawyer?

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

I don't know - but just over 24 hours after being introduced

to him and his operation, I think he is legit.

Naive, possibly, but legit.

Pandacentricism will be our downfall.

I question that

and also, with reference to the concept that a contract which has as its goal any illegal activity being void ab initio, question whether it isn't entirely illusory.

I am sure it is against the law to harass a police office, court, or institution just because a person's followers/ fans/ viewers/ political friends find it bothersome that person is being prosecuted. That flooding with calls is a stated goal of the service seems firstly to be stupid, second to be ineffective, and third, to be a counter productive to libertarianism.

If the Manson family had its supporters flood a court or institution with questions and calls would that mean they should release him? No, it wouldn't. Why would it be different for Kokesh? Or anyone else?

What benefit does call flooding have other than giving the people making the calls the false sense they are doing something?

When misguided Orly Tatiz'es misguided followers did that to the court, it resulted in nothing other than pissing off a judge and getting her criticized from the bench (and rightly so).

AREN'T LIBERTARIANS ALL ABOUT THE RULE OF LAW? And since when is the rule of law synonymous with public opinion, of a small subgroup, expressed by telephone? Given how unpopular libertarian views often are, aren't you glad that public opinion is not what controls everything? Why is it then okay to "call flood" in some vain attempt to influence a process in a completely ineffective and illegitimate way? How is that a libertarian or agorist approach to anything?

Aside from that, the list of services reads like pure balloon juice, TO ME, that is.

I frankly can't believe any adult would do this, from either side of the transaction. But again, that's just me. And we know that I am apparently in a minority here.

well, gibber gibber

disdain is a concept. Concepts don't have or not have standing. You apparently don't know what the word standing means. And therefore, I need not respond to your inane and nonsensical question. Because, you don't have standing. I AM SOVEREIGN. I DECREE IT.

So in other words

So in other words you have no evidence to back up your claim. Sorry but last time I checked being "sovereign" is not a license to defame folks for no reason.

Also, please allow me to help you understand the definition of "disdain"

dis·dain
disˈdān/
noun
1.
the feeling that someone or something is unworthy of one's consideration or respect; contempt.

you use yet another word improperly

defamation would require a statement of fact, not opinion. Tsk - tsk. They are churning them out so rapidly from the public schools lately, aren't they?

now explain their business model to me in one paragraph. Go!

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

lol

de·fame
diˈfām/Submit
verb
1.
damage the good reputation of (someone); slander or libel.

If you could, please send me your address so I may send to you a dictionary for either your birthday or Christmas, whichever comes first.

Or did I just use the wrong definition of birthday, LMAO.

oh now I see the self interest

glaring from your first post... My bad. Carry on with your internet radio show.

and you do the hokie pokie and you turn yourself around...

Indeed

all I see is you taking cheap shots.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

I see

that he didn't respond to you posting the actual dictionary meaning of the word. Proof that someone doesn't know what they are talking about is when they change the subject or respond with something completely unrelated.

Right

Because the word disdain is so rare that the definition blew my mind. Anyone over ten years old knows the definition of disdain, or they do outside of this site anyway.

from the comments, they say you are the king troll of the DP,

in the comments section of the link, some other Daily Paulers point this out. I found it interesting regardless.

Sad story. They'll stab ya in

Sad story. They'll stab ya in the back for 100 bucks. Good lesson though. Ideology is crap without personal ethics. Non aggression principle until you're down and there's something to grab. Rats from a sinking ship. Thanks for the coverage.

indeed

People forget that libertarianism is a political philosophy, not a moral philosophy. You can be a principled libertarian and still be a total scumbag.
