The Bush You Forgot (How Do We Prevent This in the Future)

So, was W's "change" of heart predictable? Did any of you who were voting age at the time see through him? And how do we prevent this in the future?

Brings Ted Cruz to mind...

This video is what I think of whenever Ted Cruz is praised as the new conservative leader. Talk is cheap and politicians who can ONLY talk, cannot be trusted.

Boy does he sound good.

But then again that is how it is when politicians are in campaign mode. Also you need to realize that we had just gone through eight years of slime ball mass murderer Clinton and Conservatives still believed that there were still some true conservatives in politics. And you have to look at the alternative candidate.

It also goes to show how much a persons record must match his/her rhetoric and why Ron Paul was unique.

I'm still glad Bush won instead of Al Gore though. OMG I hate to think of where we would be right now if Gore had won. You think it's bad? It makes me ill just to think of "president Gore". vomit. And now with Obama in office it makes Bush look like a great president. I mean if it came down to Bush, Gore or Obama with no other choice then Bush would win hands down.

Just goes to show just how screwed we really are.

Standing tall and proud.

I hope that in my last breath, I can say that I died a less painful and quick death.

I am not glad about anything concerning desensitization, the state of our Republic, the duopoly that does exist.

fyi and for example: I will NEVER support Cruz for president.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I don't know why

I was voted down. Go figure.

I tend to agree with you on that sentiment. I don't trust Cruz as far as I can throw him.

During Bush Sr's term it became apparent that their was no conservative backbone or resolve. Suffering through Clinton's two terms and the thought of Gore as POTUS made Bush Jr look like a semblance of relief. After Bush Jr was elected though it became clear that their was no "Conservative" party any more. Just liberalized Republicans.

We are here to clean the mess :-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Nope - I was not fooled

I saw through him from the start. Although, I had already had the "awakening", had read Jekyll Island, etc...

That is the key - waking people up. But, given my experience in the GOP the last time, I think the zombies far outnumber the enlightened.

I've never voted for a Republican or a Democrat for President or Federal Congress. I've never voted for the lesser of two evils. How to get people there is a good question - but I think the recent Syria fiasco as a good example of common ground.

Sadly, there may not be time.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

What made you see through

What made you see through him? What about him gave it away?

Andrew Napolitano for President 2016!

"Patriotism should come from loving thy neighbor, not from worshiping Graven images." - ironman77

That was the easy part

He was establishment-backed. His last name was "Bush" (daddy one of the original Neocons). He frequently touted becoming a Born-Again Christian after screwing up his life for 40 years. Those were the big three.

And...with one notable exception being Ron Paul - he was a Republican.

I was never fooled by either wing of the American Polit Bureau.

How do we prevent this from

How do we prevent this from happening again? We can't if the general public continues to take these politicians at their word. I think one of the best ways to predict how a candidate will actually behave when in office is to investigate who's financing them, so just getting the average voter to look at campaign contributions would be a great start.

I saw through this

I was warning people since 1998 that GW Bush would become president, something big would happen in America, that he would take us to war all over the world, usher in a NAZI style fascist police state, crush the American economy and that everything one knows about America would be unrecognizable after his 8 years in office.

Exactly what I was warning people of happened. How did I know? Because I spent years in the library digging through every single aspect of the Drug War; where it came from and who was benefitting. This eventually lead to me reading the entire Iran Contra affair hearings transcripts, all resulting criminal cases which then lead to me researching the entire genealogy of the Bush family back 300 years and mapping every family, business, social, and political connection that family had. This is how I found about the Skull and Bones, the Funding of the NAZI's and Hitler, Assassination of the Kennedys, Carlyle Group drug running, the Clinton drug running connection, Rex 84, Counterfeiting the 8 billion US dollars to put into the Panamanian Reserve Bank, Funding the Mujahedeen with the Afghan Heroin Factories built by CIA and drug profits from Carlyle Group and Halliburton Heroin drug smuggling and much much more.

Basically, I learned so much before he was barely even mentioned for president and seeing what the Feds did with Waco and OKC bombing that I knew what they were doing and what their agenda was and who they were working on behalf of. It was all obvious to those few who had actually spent the time doing a real investigation into these people and the CFR, RAND corp agenda on behalf of the European and Anglo-American Banksters. I knew most of this by 1997 and then completely woke up to the full scope of the usurpations of the corporate state by 2005.

How do you prevent this? Stop voting. Almost no-one is operating on a full deck when it comes to voting because they really do not understand the Law. Voting is mostly an emotionally game played by idiots who think they know better what laws should be passed or repealed. Most think it is totally valid for congress or state legislature to pass "laws" that are applicable to the people. If you believe this then this is your failure point because you do not understand Law. Without understanding real Law then one has no hope of making an intelligent decisions about who to "elect". I like to use a corporate analogy to demonstrate the complete and total failure of Americans to understand our laws.

Walmart has shareholders (owners) who have a shareholder's agreement. Those shareholder's elect a board of directors who then direct the company and make governing rules for the employees of the company. The employee rules do not have any application to the shareholder's because they are not under the capacity of Walmart. They already have rules governing the relationship as a shareholder.

Government applying code to the people is like Walmart's board of directors applying its employee rules to the shareholder's; it does not make sense and has no application. We the People have an agreement to create the Government capacity and no where in the agreement is the government authorized to apply law to the People. Government is only authorized to make applicable law to those which work in it's capacity. The People are free and the supreme authority with Common Law as the only applicable law for disputes between people unless parties explicitly agree to have strictly constructed some contract to identify applicable code. This is the supreme failure of the voting populace and "law enforcement".

What happens when one realizes that EVERYTHING they thought they knew as correct is WRONG and was always WRONG? If one continues to do the same thing then they will get at least exactly what they have already gotten which is at least exactly what they deserve.

If you are not willing to spend years investigating someone's entire existence to scrutinize them and not willing to physically arrest the one you voted for, if they breach their contractual duties they signed up for, then you should not be voting.

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

didnt know anything

about his character. The only thing I could tell is that he was a Rick Perry sized idiot.

The idiot card was intentional

. Idiocy was a strategically contrived 'look' for him. Don't be fooled by his foolishness. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Bush Inner Thoughts.

Good nations do good things so they gotta go out there and stop those bad nations because those bad nations always do bad things. But sometimes good nations gotta do things that look bad because those nations are so good. When this happens Mr. Cheney tells me we call these things not good things but extraordinary things. Thats how come a good nation does extraordinary rendition.
I also believe we are a good nation and good nations believe in the free market system because its good. But Hank Paulsen tells me sometimes the economy is bad so we got to use extraordinary economic actions outside the free market system in order to save free market system.
We do that because some good nations are exceptional nations and some of the big guys in our economy are exceptional too cause hank tells me they are the financial system and therefore must be too big to fail.
Uhhh. Whats this on my jacket... Honey!?
