Never let a Crisis go to Waste. House Republicans Work Immigration Behind Scenes

Immigration overhaul legislation has been dormant in the House for months, but a few Republicans are working behind the scenes to advance it at a time the Capitol is immersed in a partisan brawl over government spending and President Barack Obama's health care law.

The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Bob Goodlatte, has been discussing possible legal status for the estimated 11 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally. He's also been working with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, a fellow Virginia Republican, on a bill offering citizenship to immigrants brought illegally to the U.S. as children.

Reps. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, and Ted Poe, R-Texas, are working on a plan to create a visa program allowing more lower-skilled workers into the country.

Goodlatte and the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Mike McCaul, R-Texas, hold out hopes for floor action by late October on a series of immigration bills that already have passed their committees.

I'm sick of these termites.

Sorry but the not only is the welcome mat gone but

the house has been foreclosed on, we cannot afford 20 million more illegals.

Sneaky liberal, globalist Repubs.

Where?! HERE... diagonally!

(Pretty sneaky, Sis!)

Clever old lawmakers....

What would the Founders do?

And Cspan

never mentioned this. I saw the link by happenstance on Drudge.

The only value during this fiasco is the sharing of information we are all doing here.

What, exactly, are they expecting to achieve?

From here it looks like more competition for the already jobless and underemployed citizenry...yay

Globalists MUST Pass Biometric Identification

this year regardless of the outcry from the public since it's one of the last few remaining pieces of enslavement. As I said about a month ago when someone posted an article here prematurely rejoicing that the immigration bill was DOA in the House of Representatives, the reader now sees that disinformation as an attempt to deflect public attention away from federal BIOMETRIC identification of ALL American workers.

Notice how Boehner has been promoting the idea of separately addressing the issues crammed into the monolithic immigration bill from the US Senate as individual pieces of legislation. Why? Because, Boehner knows that passage of biometric identification (supported widely by both corrupt political parties) is easier separately as the US Senate's version of the bill would likely die in the House of Representatives and kill E-Verify as well.

Yep, the majority of the these clowns in the US Congress are indeed traitors... Remember that!
