Is Iran really another Hitler?

Michael Savage never liked Iran. Iran's previous president is "another Hitler." And now, this new guy is also apparently another "another Hitler."

Meanwhile, we're told that Iran is 2 years or so from "getting the bomb." They've been telling us that since the late 80s.

And wasn't it the CIA that deposed their democratically elected leader?

I don't know...what's wrong with negotiations? Is giving Peace a Chance really that bad of an idea?

Does anyone here have anything to show as evidence of him being another Hitler? I'd love to hear your responses.

I'll bet they already have the bomb

Seriously....they probably got it from Russia.

But in all honesty, the way I see it, they're surrounded by countries that hate them that have many "the bombs." Why wouldn't they want one?

And I honestly don't think they're suicidal enough to use it against countries that have their bombs outnumbered by at least 300 to 1.

Iran

Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel has been stating, since the 1980s, and perhaps earlier, that Iran has been 4 years away from developing a nuclear weapon that could reach Israel. He has used this tactic to get re-elected again and again. Israel is a militaristic country controlled by authoritarians and religious zealots.

Iran is no angel, but there is no evidence to suggest that a nuclear weapons program is being developed, or that they are anywhere near close to getting nuclear weapons. Iran and Syria still hold mutual defense pacts with Russia, and the Russian Federation has sent them S300 anti-aircraft missile systems. These systems are state-of-the-art and untested against US air power.

This intervention prevents the US from creating a no-fly zone around Syria or Iran, or violating their airspace. It also risks escalating a chain of events that could lead to a direct war or proxy war against the Russians, like Vietnam or the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Russians and Chinese have put their feet down as far as how much they will allow the US to intervene in the Middle East.

There is no credible threat from Iran or Syria until we start launching cruise missiles from destroyers in the Mediterranean. Then they will have a reason to sponsor terrorist attacks against the United States and her allies.

The United States and Iran entered direct talks for the first time since 1979 just last week. This shows that the US realizes that an overthrow of Iran's existing government is not going to happen, and that the new regime in Iran seems willing to pledge towards non-nuclear proliferation. It also looks like Syria will surrender its chemical stockpiles to the Russians and sign the international convention on chemical weapons of 1993.

This takes away a reasonable "cause for war" or casus belli, which has been sought by emperors and war mongers for thousands of years.

Definitely not.....and

Definitely not.....and neither are its leaders :]

Laughable comparison.

WW2 Germany: National Socialist.
Iran Today: Theocratic Islamic Republic.

WW2 Germany: Expansionist.
Iran Today: Non-expansionist.

WW2 Germany: Economy - Autarky (self-sufficiency + plundering).
Iran Today: Economy - Mixed public-private moving to free mkt.

WW2 Germany: Reichmark - fiat, some gold backing at first then none.
Iran Today: Rial - oil backed, lots of it.

WW2 Germany: Elections after Hitler elected - none.
Iran Today: Elections - yes.

No.

Another Hitler? Come on. That analogy is way overused.

He's a shock jock. He says crap like that.

We'd be hearing about it if Iran's president were another Hitler

since the US would have already invaded.

No Way!

Hitler was powerful. Iran is weak.

Fight the propaganda

The article linked below pointedly debunks three key claims Iran's opponents make and have successfully led a majority of Americans to believe. Those claims are:
1) Iran is building a nuclear bomb
2) Iran's leaders are genocidal
3) Iran's leaders are irrational and suicidal such that they would carelessly use a nuclear bomb if they had one

Iran is definitely #1 & #2, but I don't believe #3

1) It is not denied by the Iranians themselves that they are pursuing nuclear capabilities. Whether they get it for weapons or energy or both I don't care. They should be able to, if they can earn it, have the capabilities of self-reliability and self-defense that any sovereign nation &/or sovereign individual deserves. Iran has complained numerous times that US & Israel took covert actions against Iranian nuclear scientists, who were pursuing their weapons program. Iran itself has claimed it will soon have the bomb.

2) It is certainly arguable that Iran has genocidal policies. They recently executed a Christian preacher, solely for preaching his faith. When you are executing members of a certain religious group, because they profess their beliefs, that is arguably genocide. If Israel is apartheid, then Iran's policies are definitely genocidal. They are designed to push out/ eliminate all non-Muslims.

3) This is where I don't believe the globalist elitist propaganda. The Iranian Globalist Elite are just as connected and just as corrupt and just as greedy as every other nation's greedy globalist elitists who want to rule the world... I.E., they don't want to commit suicide by nuclear holocaust! They want to continue to stay in power and suck the life-blood from their people with fear-mongering and force like every other tyrannical government on earth. What do we need to get involved with these people for? Talk to them, sure, but it should be about business, because we have no need to go to war with them.
The Globalist Elite are just playing us to start wars so we can kill ourselves and die-off while they take our stuff behind our backs.

I have seen the enemy and the enemy is me.

The psychopaths running this country seem more like Hitler than any Iranian I've ever seen or heard of.

Just one humble man's opinion.

Usury is forbidden in Islam. Islamic banks don't charge interest.

We recently (over the past few years) set up brand new central-banks in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, Yemen and maybe other nations after convenient wars/revolutions.

The banksters want to be able to enslave these people through debt and taxes just as they've enslaved you and I... and they'll send your son to die to accomplish it.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?
