I think promoting this story would have huge upsides for the campaign. The fact that he is still fighting the political and media establishment on both sides of the aisle is great positioning for RP. The public DETESTS the congress and the system. Besides, it pisses people off and makes them want to donate more and work harder. Don't you think?
It should be made into a commercial!
People have to ask, Why would the Republicans run a Democrat against the champion of the Constitution? WTF?!

Anything can happen. The Rebublican convention is months away....plenty of time for missteps and screwups. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, where there isn't a chance...and Republicans are slowly waking up to the fact that McCain is no conservative! Keep running, doctor!
