"We know God is in control..." What's the Meaning Behind those Words?

As I ponder the effect Ron Paul has had on America, like many of you I realize he was right when he said, "We must remember, elections are short-term efforts.
Revolutions are long-term projects."

"If you're in a campaign for only gaining power, that is one thing.
If your in a campaign to influence ideas and the future of the country, the campaign is never over."

"I don't mind playing a key role in the revolution, but it has to be more than a Ron Paul revolution. This whole effort was much bigger than one individual."

Our human nature tends to want control. Even as many Christians always parrot how "God is in control", especially when things don't go their way.

Admittedly I am speculating here... I think because I have come to a point in life where even some of the most brutal circumstances and events DO NOT diminish my faith in God and His interest in my life.

This world is not God's kingdom.
But somehow He has intervened in my life so many times I could write a book.
And I have not always been honorable in my life.
Yet He has never forsaken me.
Even when I was homeless I just had this feeling of richness and prosperity.
In fact I felt closer to Him then compared to times of having a million dollars in the bank.

quick and serious question there chief.

If your thoughts are motivated by a desire to be a guru of some kind, the one guy out there with all the answers, better and smarter than everyone else...who is really talking to you? I don't think God does that to people.

Also, if you're always wrong, who is talking to you? God doesn't lie.

Just food for thought.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

No desire to be a guru

Divine Inspiration does not guide me to be a guru or to be smarter or have all the answers. Divine Inspiration is inherently the domain of NULL or I don't know. This inherently leads to questions not answers. Seeking answers to the questions that have been divinely inspired is following God's truth.

This is exactly why the divine protections arise because divinely inspired questions to criminal men are like sun rays to vampires. The resulting natural logic expressed as communication from a divinely inspired source operates on the natural domain as patterned informational stimuli that seeks non-conflicting congruency inside the human mind's interpretational experiential neural nets. When the weight of conflict increases to a level that begins to penetrate the defense mechanisms of the ego the subjects motor function operation will modify due to realizing the confusion resulting from logical conflict or failure to maintain logical congruency. This is an example of divine law providing order within natural law thus demonstrating access to protection of divine law. The key to the whole thing is not knowing. If you already 'know' something then further investigation is not necessary. Getting into the state of not knowing is the NULL state and ultimately enables access to the uncollapsed wavefunction of your own consciousness. This uncollapsed wavefunction is in all states simultaneously and thus I have reasons to believe that accessing the uncollapsed wavefunction can only be done by not knowing thus it is inherently a process of seeking answers to the questions that have been inspired from not knowing. For me this uncollapsed wavefunction is our access to God's will. Kind of like your antenna to the masternet of the universe.

Of course even my expression here is merely my own understanding of how divine inspiration fits within the whole of law and enables real protections of law when letting God be in control by seeking answers to those questions. I seek not to convince someone that may way is the way I only express what I have learned along the way from actually practicing this. Its pretty obvious to those who know me that something is different about me because they see it all the time in all different scenarios. This is comment is not about me it is about the fact of the absolutely amazing things that can happen when one is completely NULLED and follows the inspiration endowed by creation itself.

Lose out if you want. That's your ride and whatever you do don't follow me, I am not the guru. To follow someone else is the deception away from divine laws protections. Take it or leave it but don't be surprised as every last vestiges of peace and protections of law evaporate right before your eyes.

probably thinks you're a kook.

You just posted a wall of verbose, impenetrable gibberish that essentially says that yes, you believe you are superior to all and have secret insight into everything. Cause your a Godly type sovrun hoaxster. Geez.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

I am not talking about Jesus

I am talking about the source of order; God. I don't believe I am superior in any way. In fact, I am only existing to fulfill God's will and I don't even know what that is. Also, I don't know if Jesus was real and I don't know how people were saved before Jesus he is the only way. I guess there was no heaven before 2000 years ago??

Notice how you always want to attack me on here but I only state what I have learned on my own by following the divine inspiration from God. You went to Law school for knowledge of other men and now you are part of a system that destroys people's peace, prosperity and freedom. I learned from many of the same law books but I utilized the insight given to me by God which states No law can violate any other law and I have only come to the conclusion that every man is responsible for their own self-initiated actions. This lead to a different understanding into the nature of law from organic inspiration from God that was the source of my journey into law. You say I am a hoaxter but yet I do not care if anyone agrees or rejects what I say. I have been inspired to share what I have learned and that is what I am doing.

Of course the words resulting from divine inspiration would seem to be gibberish to the wicked. Confusion is the playground of the wicked.

...is the inclusivist Christian view, which acknowledges that not all who in fact are on the path of faith that leads through the Way, Truth and Life to God, understand the technical details of that Way. Abraham didn't know all the specifics of the Gospel, yet his leaving Ur on faith was on that path of heart response, and was 'counted as righteousness.' The thief on the cross had no time to contemplate the fine points of the nature of God and whether Adam had a belly button -- his heart response was on the path, and that day he would 'be in Paradise.'

This is different than the pluralist view which denies there is any one Way, Truth and Life, though, that all paths of faith must cross to reach God.

More boxes

Why does everyone want to put people into little defined boxes? What's wrong with the open ended infinity of each finding their own way and simply seeking one's own divine connection as to ask 'what am here to learn from the experience before me?' or the inquisitive 'what's their path'. Judgments and assumptions are not necessary and only add more confusion.

boxes = cages = bird holders

and sometimes your just a kookoo. koo! koo! Kooo!

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

Yeah and while you are koo kooing

I am having fun fun fun. So much fun and happiness you can't imagine. Music, invention, logic, art, friendship, love, wealth, peace, scientific advancements, sacred geometry, mathematics, directed evolution, sustainability, writing, and more. More and more and more. God's grace has unleashed nature's abundance upon me for following its inspiration and I am loving it. The absolute prosperity that comes from divine inspiration is absolutely overwhelming.

Say what you want. Do you think I really care when your idiocy stands besides God's abundance? You fool. I enjoy because I do not harm another and I have given my life to the source of order in exchange for it's protections. Do you think you have anything over this abundance endowed upon me with your confusion and idiocy? You foolish confused man. You attack a man who lives within the protections of divinity. Do you think you can have any effect whatsoever upon such happiness, joy and abundance. While you are a fool I am the of those rewarded for paying attention to the Law and its results are extreme over abundance of joy and happiness. You hold nothing over this fact proven to me by God. You stand as the babbling demonic idiot seeking to confuse when clarity shows your clouded view. Why would I want to step out of clarity and happiness into your idiotic clouded confusion.

Is that weird enough for you?? You have no idea of the real mind bombs of truth that there actually are. Those truths that will reveal your mouth hanging open in awe of the source of your existence and operation. I have delivered yet but I can. God has shewn me clearly how because I have given myself to this source of order in exchange for detailed awareness of its inner workings.

Fun fun fun... Too much fun...

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

um yeah

cuz like you're the chosen one! Sort of like a bad Hollywood movie! Dude hangs out, smokes some weed, watches some teevee then BOOM! GOD! Looking much like Charlton Heston, only with laser beams coming from His eye sockets appears into the room, in a big puff of smoke (no, not that kind of smoke!)

Hark! I have been watching you! Yes You! The dude in his underwear with the Cheetos and the water pipe! That's right. I need a purveyor of knowledge! To send out to humanity to tell them they're all wrong about all kinds of stuff! And I have been so impressed with your work ethic that I choose YOU! Why you've logged 34 re-runs of Twilight Zone just this week, and have also posted some indecipherable gibberish to some sovereign citizen websites! I must co-opt this energy for my Godly kingdom! You will now be named "Free dumb". Go forth and inform the populace!

Poof! the cloud vanishes.

Just then, a disclaimer flashes, ever so briefly across the screen of your teevee. It reads "God has a great sense of humor, and he's just pulling your leg."

But sadly, you didn't see that last part...to be continued...

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

Wrong again

No Cheetos, no tv, and no waterpipe. I haven't had television for over 12 years. I don't like waterpipes; too strong. I don't eat any processed foods.

How about full band room with guitars, bass, drums, hand drums, joombush, harmonicas, PA and full effects processing on harmonica and Electric guitar with Mesa tube amp, Invention shop for biotech automation systems development, Solidworks, Dip-trace, Labview, Zemax, Top level Scientists around from the largest biotech and oil companies in the world, top-level optical scientists who have lead the major optical societies of the world, Pharmeceutical Bio-physicists and molecular biologists, Aquaponics specialists, algae farmers, Oceanographic research scientists, Nasa program managers for monitoring satellites, engineers from all backgrounds, musicians, logicians, magicians, mathematicians, technicians, sacred geometrists, fire dancers, music industry promoters and professionals, Rapid manufacturing companies executives, major film producers, script writers, physicians, founders of some of the most respected law firms in the country, founders of top level corporations, local entrepreneurs with successful small businesses even local judges on occasion and the homeless guy who lives in the alley in between spot of the building my company is in.

Yeah this is a little bit of what you would see around my daily world. I have made my own reality and am successful at doing so. And yes everyone I interact with both socially and professionally I have given them the full deal about the criminal acts of our "courts" and "Governments", disclosed the "court cases" and recordings and actively promote a revolution to everyone I know to throw the criminal bureaucrats in prison. Oh, also, I forgot to mention all the federal agents I grew up around from my dad being a US Federal Agent who worked with various agencies throughout his career including FBI, Secret service, US Marshals and more. I grew up in the thick of it and use to go out on stake outs and to serve subpoenas with my dad sometimes where he would teach the federal rules of investigative procedure to me with its lawful boundaries and why.

Of course when he retired he gave a speech and informed the agencies of how they destroyed America and our laws. He knows too.

So once again you are as wrong as you could possibly be. Good bye sir.

I don't believe you

you never back up anything you say and have given me solid proof you live in a fantasy world.

I believe the part about the homeless guy, and actually, admire that. The rest smells like a fertilizer plant.

I'd ask you to post proof but I know you live in a world where that just doesn't exist.

I already offered you the proof but you will not

reveal yourself. You want the proof and I want to open a criminal intelligence dossier on you. If your not doing anything wrong then you have nothing to hide.

You are the one who is declining to get the info.

All our versions...

...of the singular Truth are mistruths. Dangerous as labels can be, they're a way of sorting through and comparing all of the mistruths to get closer to the Truth. If we try to say all the mistruths are equally correct, that's really a disservice to the claims of each, since they aren't entirely claiming the same things, right?

I was just pointing out that there are other views within Christianity that address your question as far as prior to 2000 years ago, etc. 'Exclusivism', 'inclusivism', and 'pluralism' are just shortcut ways to discuss these various views -- but the ideas they represent can still be discussed without the labels. They aren't essential.

False dichotomy

It depends on what you mean by free will. There is compatibilism on the one hand and libertarian free will on the other. But people who believe in 'libertarian free will' often site molinism as a solution, while compatibilism is a solution in itself.

what is that word? A combination of compatible and cannibalism?

Sort of like a secret message, eat the one you love...????

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

It's a word from philosophy

It's a word from philosophy used to describe a particular view of free will. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compatibilism

thank you for that

learned something new here today!

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

What's behind those words? Utter fallacy.

If God = Love, then God is NOT in control, because Love is clearly not in control.

Or, God does not = Love. Or, God does not Love us, hence His willful decision to allow us to suffer the world over (when presumably, in His great power, He could easily reverse this course).

Take your pick.

(I'm obviously employing the "God is Love" definition here... the simplest one, and the one I only wish were true.)

What would the Founders do?

Check this out

From Tim Keller:
"Most cultures—unlike our own—expect suffering as inevitable and see it as a means of strengthening and enriching us. Our secular culture, on the other hand, is perhaps the worst in history at helping its members face suffering. Every other culture says the meaning of life is something beyond this world and life. It may be (a) going to heaven to live with God and your loved ones forever; (b) escaping the cycle of reincarnation in order to enter eternal bliss; (c) escaping the illusion of the world to go into the all-Soul of the universe; (d) living a moral, virtuous, honorable life even in the face of defeat and doom; or (e) living on in your family and descendants. In each case suffering, though painful, can actually help you reach your life goal and complete your life story.

But in secular culture the meaning of life is to be free to choose what makes you happy in this life. Suffering destroys that meaning. And so, in the secular view, suffering can have no meaning at all. It can't be a chapter in your life story—it is just the interruption or even the end of your life story."

"Once you become knowledgeable, you have an obligation to do something about it."- Ron Paul

I appreciate that. Thanks.

"In each case suffering, though painful, can actually help you reach your life goal and complete your life story."

I totally agree. (I am spiritual [but not religious], so the good sense of this appeals to me.)

I just have a beef with a deity who in earlier times parted a sea for a few people to travel through, but today does nothing so overt as to save good people from cruel destruction at the hands of others.

What would the Founders do?

...will have to enter into the age to come in order for this earthly life, this launching pad of sorts for our journeys of becoming, to make more sense. Then we will see the further details of how wrongs are righted, justice and mercy are served in the ultimate fulfillment of Love, as the aions progress.

What short-term mercies and judgements we see now are a bittersweet dance of free wills and allowing the working out of earthly human history to progress -- probably so that we have the full perspective, the reference point of what humanity striving to be its own god apart from the Creator, apart from Love, truly accomplishes.

But in the midst of the darkness, we have the light of our consciences, the light of the Creation, and the Light Who became flesh and dwelt among us and showed us the way through death to the old and life in the new, through Him, through Love.

I think Christ was looking forward to the following promises being fulfilled completely, not in this earthly life, but in the life in the age to come:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

I have found

some of that shows in the story of Jesus as well. Totally innocent and suffered terribly. God could have stopped it but he did not. So there was something bigger going on there that he was up to. I don't fully understand all the reasons, thats part of being a limited human.

I do find comfort in believing that my soul will live on forever when my body wastes away.

"Once you become knowledgeable, you have an obligation to do something about it."- Ron Paul

It's an inaccurate and meaningless cliche

that gets uttered by rote by a lot of Christians. They may be well meaning about it, but it really is not scriptural and this phrase is actually a pet peeve of mine. I will correct fellow believers when they say it.

God gives us free will. His will is rarely done on this Earth, which is why we pray for his will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. God is not pulling strings so that we have bad leadership, poverty, disease, and famine. He is not making someone abuse us or rip us off or govern us badly. He is not pushing buttons to cause everything bad.

Mind you, God could do that. He can and sometimes does do some of these things. But there is free will to deal with. And influence of ungodly forces.

Most Christians when you point this out will say "oh yes that is what I meant" but what I don't like is that a lot of non-Christians get offended when, faced with difficult circumstances, are told by someone that "God is in control" because it sounds too much like "God digs it when you suffer, you deserve this. Must be something wrong with you."

Some Christians might even mean it that way, which is even worse.

I just don't say it, ever. To say it makes one at best careless with words and at worst a bad witness.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

It's kind of an echo...

...of the idea that God is the Author *and* the Finisher -- He is the Author of other persons who can use their free will for good or evil; but He is also the Finisher, Who can ultimately overcome the worst evils through His own free will, in working all the repercussions and consequences towards ultimate good.

Christians will disagree with each other about how good this ultimate 'good' really is. A lot think that God will be stymied by free will in many cases, unable to achieve the fullest restoration of the Creation that He intends. (Others think that He doesn't really want to restore all of Creation.)

Personally, I think that for every clever chess move we think we're making with our free wills to defy God's Love, He is the infinitely wiser grand Chessmaster, Who can turn our supposed evasions and temporary roadblocks into checkmate against every pain and every evil and every wrong, in the end. And in His complete victory, we all will find our own ultimate victory.

God is ultimately in control

But has temporarily ceded that control to Man, Nature and Satan. Certainly he intervenes, but to his own design, not ours. He has his reasons.

We evaluate a life and a death in a way that is alien to God. God evaluates a life and a death in a way that is alien to us, assuming we do not know him. If you love your family and you love your life, it is very hard to see things God's way in a world filled with misery and death.

As St. Paul said, "For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known."

What the expression really means is that God sees all.

That He knows past and future. God has a tendency to only reveal Himself in the split last second, when all is lost.

I sweat and sweat over making payments on my shop, and money always comes through, comes in, ALWAYS, right on the last day. It's just the way He works.

The Revolution is interesting in that, every single person, parrots the Bible, parrots God's will on humanity, yet most of them are non-christians and are completely unaware they are doing so.

When you look at the whole Bible from an out of the box view, the Old Testament is about Israels struggle to remain free. They are constantly enslaved, and given signs and warnings to watch for, to remind them of God's power. The same thing is happening in America. America is being judged, JUST like Israel was judged, the exact same situations, politics, and mentalities. The New Testament is what makes us free.

One thing God does is divide His people from everyone else. This is why it's so important to understand Truth, that God IS Truth, because all truth comes from Him. Look closely at the populous, how many people embrace truth? When people do not embrace truth, how many of them begin to despise truth? They just don't want to hear it, more and more they hate it.

This is but one example of a nation under judgement, the line is being drawn in the sand, God's people on one side, and everyone else on the other. John the Baptist and Christ both said, that when Gods people refuses to do Gods work, even the stones would rise up to do it. It's suggested that by 'stones' he was talking about the lifeless, or the unsaved.

This is why I am so optimistic about the future, when I see the 'stones' doing God's work, it shows His hand in everything. To the untrained eye, however, you may never even notice.

God has never divided people--

people divide people--

God wants people (ANY people) to wise up--

and gives them directives on how to do it; He does not set up superior people--

He is no respecter of persons--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

if that sounded argumentative--

I apologize--

God loves righteous people, whomever they are; He doesn't favor based upon skin color or genetics--

or blood lines--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

I also never mentioned blood lines, skin color or anything else

I said "God's People", and those who follow Christ are the heirs of Abraham, not the Jewish Nation. Christ brings the fulfillment of the promise of Abraham to all who accept Him.

I meant what I said, and Christ Himself said it:

Luke 12:
51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Christ came to divide houses. He was opening a new era, and those who sought truth embraced it, even non-jews. This is still the same today. Peace is not the goal, there will not be peace on Earth until Christ reigns. The divide I believe He was talking about was traditional Jews vs the emerging Christians, but wasn't that about truth? The Jewish leaders KNEW Christ was the messiah and they knew He was liberating their control over the less educated. It was still truth in Christ vs promises of the leaders. Not much is different today.

I could go on if you want, there are parts in the Bible were God, already knowing the hearts of men, hardened them to truth, to expedite Gods will. Pharaoh and Moses is the first example I can think of, but I think there's 2-3 in the Bible where hearts are changed by God Himself.
