I don't need to worry about it because it will never happen to me!

The reports are now coming

The reports are now coming out the woman was executed by police AFTER SHE GOT OUT OF HER CAR. So the gang in blue polyester executed an unarmed woman on foot and you're defending the cops? GTFO of here and never come back.

I agree, watch the video downvoters

The cops were doing their jobs and they did what they had to do to protect themselves.

The incident was a tragedy and may have been avoidable, however, I think it's clear that this was a matter of self defense.

What an idiot comment!

"The cops were doing their jobs and they did what they had to do to protect themselves".

This is happening far too often in cities all across America and without any accountability.

no need to fire into the car?

could have just shot out the tires per standard police protocol?

Shooting Tires

of a fleeing vehicle is NOT police protocol. You watch too many movies.

You are

a piece of garbage. She was not a threat. Murder makes you a coward and every single D.C cop who sat their and watched it is a coward.

If I was a cop their, I would have sided against every single cop that thought this as the right thing to do. This article should be deleted. ITS DISGUSTING!

It was a split second decision and everyone's life was in danger

The victim's actions threatened the lives of every officer and civilian in the area as well as and her own child's life. It sucks that she died this way but the consequences of her actions were justifiable.

The police showed good discretion and tried multiple times to get her out of the car without gunfire. If you watch the video you can see that the woman uses her car defensively with lethal force multiple times towards the officers. The officers probably saved the child's life and possibly anyone else in the area had the officers not fired and this turned into a high speed chase.

You should not judge the officers involved. They did not ask for this, they weren't all getting paid, it wasn't an easy situation to face, they did their best and they did their job.

A witness saw clearly what happened & you are WRONG

If they had time to take her child out of the car from her, they had PLENTY OF TIME to restrain her with all the extra officers.

Give me a friggin' break!

i dont think anyone is questioning if this lady was in the

wrong. Perhaps if the police had batons in hand to break the glass instead of guns drawn, they could have had an opportunity to tase. But doesn't matter now as she is dead and we will never hear her side of the story and the media and gov get to paint whatever narrative they want.

I think what most people are upset about is all the cheering and worshiping by the media and congress of the police for killing someone. Not who is at fault etc...

Death should never be glorified.

Using Batons to Break the Glass

would require the officers to get with in arms length of the vehicle.
What happened in the video when they got close to the car? She almost ran them over...

My Two cents: I wonder why they did not block her in with their

vehicles to prevent her from being able to drive off in the first place.

If she was hellbent to run over cops...

she sure did a very lousy job of it.

From looking at the video,the

From looking at the video, the lady's doors were locked and the cops could not remove her or taze her and she initiated the threat of deadly force towards the cops by putting the car in motion. Whatever happend before that may be up for discussion, but she ended any potential argument for police brutality when she made the car move. I used to be a cop, and got out after a tour in Afghanistan due to the prevailing "police state" mentality of cops.We can all argue about if the cops drove her into this position, but regardless she did what she did, and by upping the violence, it got her shot.. this one is clear cut judging by the evidence of the video. If she had not moved the car and nearly smashed several people, she would be alive

this guy is normally pretty good

but not everyone is going to agree on everything 100% of the time.

dangerous high speed?

This is how the one cop was injured?

oh you silly silly intelligent rational person, you :oD

didn't ya get the memo?

"Limited Kinetic Action" is NOT a War, it's 'war'

Murder is apparently NOT brutal, only beating someone is, if you repeat it enough! yay!

MSM lies all the time, except when I want to believe them! Yay!

Govt lies all the time, except when they murder an unarmed woman, ON FOOT! Yay!

As a 'libertarian' I'm against initiation of force, unless I choose to believe in an MSM narrative and govt terrorists murder the type of women I don't particularly care for: ie. 'schizophrenics', even though I don't know if she really is, as I'm merely going by what the MSM & govt is telling me to believe/regurgitate, even though I say all the time to everyone I know to not trust them at their word, even though I've never seen her personal medical records (yay for oBUSHmaScare! now we can peek into everyone's 'public' medical records and determine a-priori who should or should not exist in this world based on their 'threat to the greater good'-PRECRIME-profile)! yay!!!!

and, even as more and more info comes out telling me that my initial assertions by way of a GTA 5 demo is beginning to look and sound utterly ridiculous, as it did to any rational person the 1st time, I'm now gonna dig in more by starting multiple DP threads, in hopes that people will forget what I really said the 1st time, even though, in the age of the intenetS everything is archived digitally, practically forever. Yay!

This video does nothing to address the fact that there are no indentations on the vehicle prior to it's reaching this point.

Another poster suggested "hey guys, why not shoot the tires out?" in old Will Griggs style-because gun toting cops are all too eager to use their weapon in offense rather than defense.

How many cops does it take

to stop an unarmed woman in D.C.?

Looks like it takes hordes of them.

And apparently they are worse drivers than the fleeing woman. Two cop cars get seriously damaged and one cop goes to the hospital. That cop's car was severely torn up by crashing into- guess what? A barrier. Hmmm....must be too many barriers in D.C. too.

Do high-speed car chases end

Do high-speed car chases end up in an execution? Or just police getting control over the situation and arresting the criminal.

Could have shot out the tires at the start there

And when they did fire those first shot, were they aiming INSIDE the car or at the tires?
And further, cops were incompetent by not boxing her car in.

No mention of protocol of shooting out the tires in this guy's youtube video commentary. Sounds to me like this guy had a change of heart after making his first two police videos.

also, the video maker's argument to me seems to be

that since this falls within normal police conduct that it's not police brutality. My counter to that is that normal police conduct is often brutality. Case in point, here they didn't shoot out the tires, instead they apparently shot in the vehicle and killed her.
