Quick Fundraising Ideas

Ron Paul is asking for funds *now*.

Many wish they could give, but are tapped out.

TIME FOR GUERRILLA FUNDRAISING!

Do these alone, with your friends & family, with your Meet-Up group, whatever -- just try any or all of these, and add your own ideas in the comments section. Note that local ordinances may require permits for some of these items; check it out and keep it legal!

Some ideas off the top of my head:

- Multi-family yard sale -- don't call it an RP yard sale; don't wear RP clothes/buttons; just a regular multi-family yard sale (you KNOW you've got junk you don't need any more. And with every purchase, put a Slim-Jim in the bag so buyers will find it later)

- Recycling -- collect cans, bottles, paper, etc for cash -- a lot of folks are getting new phone books now; ask people for their old ones to re$ycle

- Donation-only Car Wash (depending on weather, of course)

- Stand outside of stores/businesses and ASK for donations -- also great for spreading the RP word, so bring your pamphlets & fliers:
- gun shops
- health food stores
- grocery stores
- Big Box stores
- etc. etc.

- Offer to spray paint house addresses on curbs

- Sell* helium-filled balloons at parks, outside of elementary schools, etc. *Ask for donation, or you might need a business license

- Babysitting!

- Make and sell stuff on CafePress (not limited to RP gear!)

- Ebay / Amazon

- Offer to mow your neighbor's yard

These suggestions may totally suck, but, you get the idea. Brainstorm. Come up with better ideas than mine! Try something you might normally never do. Ideas!!! Share your ideas here!!

This is a great way to get non-voting-age teens involved with earning $ for the campaign, too!
