Open Letter to Christians:

Dear Brothers and Sisters - do you choose to have a voice as a voter? I would like to take this opportunity to share some important information with you. If you are making political decisions based solely on television sources, you are not getting the whole picture. In our busy culture, there seems to be little time for looking deeper into such things. However, the choosing of our nation’s leader is no small event, and we should give it our attention. My husband and I and many of our Christian friends have looked intently and found that Congressman Ron Paul is our clear choice for President. Please consider the following:

1) Ron Paul is a Christian: “I freely confess that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior, and that I seek His guidance in all that I do.” His statement of faith is found at: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/articles/?tag=Religion
2) 20-year record in Congress upholding the Constitution. He is a man of principle and full of integrity. “He who is faithful in little will also be faithful in much.”
3) Pro-life Champion – The Sanctity of Life (HR 1094) was legislation written to expressly define life as beginning at conception. Norma McCorvey (“Jane Roe”), now a pro-life activist, recently endorsed Dr. Paul. Finally, he was a doctor who delivered over 4,000 babies! 4) Family man and American: on Feb.1st Mr. and Mrs. Paul will celebrate 51 years of marriage. They have 5 wonderful children and many grandchildren. Dr. Paul has been working since he was 5 years old and has never let up. He actively served in the U.S. Air Force for 5 years. (Wikipedia)

6) Strong Military Defense – A common sense foreign policy based on the Constitution: no nation building, no entangling alliances, no illegal wars. Return to the “Just War Theory”. Strengthen our borders. The Iraq war is bankrupting our nation and killing our bravest. Continued wars will guarantee a return of the draft.
7) Only Presidential candidate not connected to the Council on Foreign Relations. Every Christian should know what the goals of the CFR are; basically, they want to establish a one-world government. Richard Haass is the President of the CFR. Which of the candidates do you think he advises on Foreign Policy?

The government cannot legislate righteousness or enforce morality. As Christians, we are well-served by Freedom to do the work our Lord commissioned to us. Our hope is that you will take the time to get fully informed before the vote on Feb. 5th. May this information be a springboard to prayerful consideration for our future. “A good tree bears good fruit; a bad tree, bad fruit.”
