Hemp Farmer Makes History with First US Crop in 56 Years

After years and years of hard work by activists, a farmer in the United States has finally harvested a crop of hemp, which may be adjudicated as legal. Though federal law still bans the production of hemp, the Department of Justice recently signaled that it would respect state laws on this issue. Ryan Loflin’s groundbreaking horticultural achievement has enhanced freedom and prosperity in America and may someday lead to an extraordinary economic boom.

Amazing ...

"However, the typical compressive strength is around 1 MPa,[4] around 1/20 that of residential grade concrete. Hempcrete walls must be used together with a frame of another material that supports the vertical load in building construction, as Hempcrete's density is 15% that of traditional concrete.[5] Like other plant products, the hemp crop absorbs CO2 gas as it grows, retaining the carbon and releasing the oxygen. 165 kg of carbon can be theoretically absorbed and locked up by 1 m3 of hempcrete wall over many decades.[6]"

Elsewhere I read that hempcrete can be more stronger than traditional concrete at less than 1/10 of the weight. And looks like it also has a selling point as a CO2 friendly resource for those concerned about environment. It also seems like way less water is needed to produce hempcrete than traditional concrete.

Also seems like there are hemp-bricks as replacement for wood, which are far far lighter than wood but better insulators and much cheaper.

Hemp alone can help recover the American economy and reduce reliance on oil and consequently help the entire world economy.

Long overdue

Another step in the right direction.

Free or drug free? America can't be both!

May no harm come to Ryan for his brave step. Can't wait to see hemp clothes and hemp oil(?).

I have read too many horror stories of Federal intimidation and destruction of people who produced/sold marijuana even in states where medical marijuana has been legalized.

If one ever doubts the absolute rotten core corruption of the state, all they need to look at is how the benefits of this plant have been suppressed for roughly 6 generations. Not just here but world wide.

I want to believe that this gentleman's brave step will lead to igniting the "brushfires" we need to heal the Earth and its inhabitants.
Time will tell.
Youtube is recently censoring docs like "Cannabis kills Cancer" and another related instructional video that showed how to make the oil and CURE things like cancer, diabetes, and a host of other things.

Ask yourself why they would go through ALL that trouble to eradicate something that is so beneficial? It's criminal.

This is definitely an important front in the Revolution.
