G. Edward Griffin sez the strawman is all hokum

IS THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT A CORPORATION?
IF TRUE, SO WHAT?

© 2007 by G. Edward Griffin. Revised 2007 December 17.

A common assertion made by those who are unhappy with the declining state of freedom in America is that this can be traced to an 1871 act of Congress that established Washington DC and, at the same time, converted the United States from a constitutional republic to a corporation.

Secondary claims attached to this hypothesis are that this is the reason the official wording was changed from Constitution for The United States of America to Constitution of The United States of America and also why all capital letters are used in the name instead of upper and lower case letters. They claim that this Act of 1871 abolished the original constitutional government and created a legal fiction that became financially indebted to and controlled by international bankers.

A forceful example of this view can be found on the Internet at www.serendipity.li/jsmill/us_corporation.htm.

You can't even fabricate shit out of thin air with any credibility.

In addition to nothing else you can prove ...

Prove this:

"You claim there's a straw man ... "

I can't wait for you to produce a quote where I have asserted one. Go ahead ... post in one of my few threads and we will bump the hell out of it.

http://www.dailypaul.com/298897/explaining-to-a-10-year-old-...

We can discuss all parties to a voluntary act of registration within the United States which occurs within a given state and discuss the respective bundle(s) of rights for any registration applicants, recipients, state where registration occurs, the United States and any other identified consenting or non-consenting actors. We can discuss all manner of registrations including the registration of designated names, vehicles, deeds, or other forms of property.

Just I predicted!

In my last post, what did I say? I predicted you would return to saying you never claimed there is a straw man. You did! How predictable.

Okay, since that is the subject of this thread, what are you arguing about?

You agree then with the article by Griffin, and the initial post, that there is no straw man. That should be end of story. UNLESS of course, you want the straw man myth to continue, so you feel a need to come here and post distractions and ad hominem attacks, so that your fake law theory industry can continue unharmed by reality.

If you want to discuss my thread

post in it.

In the meantime I will continue to watch you make a fool of yourself.

it isn't your thread

It is mine, as I made the initial post.

If you want to start a thread about your quacked up legal theories, go right ahead. I might even stop in to humiliate you, or as they said in Monty Python's the Holy Grail, "I shall taunt you a second time!"

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

I am not the idiot

making assertions they can't prove. Nor am I the idiot fabricating things other people say out of thin air and commenting see, I predicted you would say you didn't say what I made up out of thin air. It's too comical dude.

If you want to discuss my thread, post in it.

In the meantime continue proving you inability to evidence that which you assert.

discuss your thread? LOL ok

you mean the one with the pretty boat pictures in it! Now that is some true scholarly research. How could one not be swayed by a line drawing of two boats? That must settle all argument on this issue.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

Dude pay attention

He linked to "his thread" just above:

It has pictures. You'll love it. And you'll see that he's not into the strawman hokum, he's into the name-in-capital-letters hokum. You should probably dust off whichever secret textbook they used to teach you about the names in capital letters thing, maritime law, "berth" certificates, and all that secret knowledge that you can't admit to in public but that renders you and the judge powerless if they say the magic words correctly.

Spelling means nothing

I use an all capital letter spelling in my picture because that style of spelling is often used by government which is well defined in government style manuals for the rules of spelling and grammar.

What counts is the parties to a voluntary act of registration and their respective bundle(s) of rights.

What counts is attaching a flag to property or persons and in doing so some of the rights in the bundle of rights for ownership are surrendered to the state where registration occurs and the United States all states are members of.

It doesn't matter how you actually spell the name of property or persons under the protection of a state or the United States. I can't believe you are that dim witted.

Feel free to post in my thread if you want to discuss my thread dimwit.

oh the "berth certificate thing" gotcha rofl

I'll have to check out his thread, maybe even share it with some friends at some other sites. Could be lotsa laughs and I thank you for linking me to such entertainment on a slow Friday!

I never had one discussion with you about strawmen

Lying stupid controlling wannabe lawyer! Leave me out of your petty arguments.

I see you for what you are, a controller. Probably here to keep tabs on real Americans for your establishment hacks down at Central Planning.

If you are who you say you are, a lawyer ;), you'd be promoting and proving it. I'm tending to agree with batshit (love the handle too) that you are probably just a frustrated desk jockey that gets his jollies reporting back to his loser friends in the establishment.

I've seen you guys hundreds of times. So many times it's spooky. They come looking for me way out West too, because they have pathetic little lives to control over.

Batshit was right about one thing for sure, when the change in the system comes, you're not going to like it. We already don't like it and it annoys you because you prey off this shitstem. You're like a polyp, waiting for food to float by.

We here (most of us) are the opposite of that. While you chastise me to "Go get a job" you have no idea how I contribute to society. You have no idea how I became a Free man. Not that it's any of your business, but you go way out of your way to tell others how to live. Go figure your life out first, leave the others alone.

But of course I could be completely wrong too.

Truth is, I don't care. I just like to chime in when you come around here telling others how stupid they are to not live their lives like you want them to. You're too push button easy to get riled up. Lighten up!

Ok, sorry to tell you to get a job

You're completely full,of FECES.

I hate central planning.

I'm painfully aware the system sucks. Have you ever had to explain to a client they have a few options, all of them less than ideal. That's my world. So ad hominem away, I do more for people than you ever will.

I'm all for freedom and libertarianism. I'm not in favor of sov citizen stuff because it is retarded.

If you read my post above, you'll see I pointed out that none of you vocal opposers said they believed Ina straw man, even though you all wet your panties over a post you supposedly agree with.

So is Griffin a centrist loving, statist too?

Nope

I am anonymous here and don't use this to promote business.

I posted a link dealing with a discreet issue. Actually, PHREEDOM AT LEAST STARTED OUT TRYING TO BE RESPONSIVE. Once he gave up and handed off his shift to you it went downhill as all you can offer are baseless, threats and ad hominem attacks. Oh, and you knew some lawyers so that makes you right, even though bar membership equals satan worship or something. Riiiiiiiight!

Dr. WeakSauce

You have no support for your hokum Straw Man.

But for some reason, it really bothers you that there is a thread discussing it here.

so, instead of trying to show why you believe in it, you come here and do nothing but engage in one personal attack after another, against someone who you admit you don't know.

Knock yourself out, you're no longer worth the effort, I think I've given you too much time already.

What a waste of pixels.

This post is from 2007, a long time ago. It might be a disservice to G. Edward Griffin. I hadn't heard a recent opinion but I am sure that peoples minds change. Things have been proven and dis-proven since then. Minds are working non-stop to stop foreclosures and bring peace to the system. You just happen not to be one of them. Your birth certificate is printed on a bank note and those in banking do understand why. I have found more hidden knowledge in banking than all of modern law. If you shut your snake like tongue back into your mouth than perhaps your ears will listen to what your heart is begging you for. It's not as simple as a straw man. It is Rome. It is the big lie. Many will have made mistakes but that doesn't make them wrong. I don't suggest going and filing a UCC-1 anytime soon but that isn't to say that no knowledge but the official knowledge taught in American schools is real. It's quite the opposite.

so

to parse out all the nonsense, equivocating, and diversion, what you really mean to say is:

You have no reason to believe there is a straw man either.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

...

Now all a sudden, you want a serious discussion.

There most definitely is a strawman. The question is if it is a point of law. Paper isn't a human being and a human being isn't paper. To get branded with a name of which you are given at birth and not conception is a matter of discourse. The deception is real.

It is when one believes that he/she is in fact the strawman that we find the trouble. It is a misconception that leads to failure. Some believe that they can privately contract with themselves.

As so it is to believe you are something that you are not. As you already do. So the goal is to know thyself. It's the oldest story in the book. Keep the public and the private separate. If you play a paper game than you will receive paper chains. Once a person understands who they are than they are in no need of my help.

Being free and understanding the strawman is much deeper than just one mans attempt to play the system for it's inherent flaws. I'm telling you it already is a free country.

What most people are suffering from is intellectual elitism. In that they can fail to understand the many diverse and abstract ways to understand reality. I see the court room like a chess board. I can predict the programming. I assure you it is a con game of epic proportions.

All rights reserved and no rights waived.

enough bullcrap and ad hominems

do you have proof or not?

If not, go theorize in your own thread.

I think Griffin put it really well, when he said he'd already seen what was being offered as proof, and it amounts to nothing.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

He supplies a correction at the bottom of the article. You are incompetent in law.

Are you an Attorney at Law or an Attorney in Law? Because there is a difference. Your either a false prophet at the waters edge or a false prophet in the water. Your profession has nothing to do with law as your title clearly states you are at and not in.

You have a lot of schooling but no education.

Blabber

You have no schooling, no education, and no common sense. Perfect for the straw man hoax industry!

It is working fine with me. I guess y'all just don't know how to do it right.

So you're gonna post up proof of your victories then? Oh good.
