Anyone else miss Jack Hunter?

I really do. I feel like our movement kinda dropped the ball. Jack has been in our corner cheering our side since Buchanan.

I heard him speak about a litany of issues and never come off racist for a moment. He is southern for sure. Anyone not from the south, he may come off as brash. He is from there though.

Its bullshit Cheney got away with this. This was an intentional attack and one of our best allies. It was done in malice, to hurt Rand. Period.

The WeAreChange folks encounter with Jack is the least of my worries. We lost a bright, eloquent and determined ally because of shady politics.

The irony? Dick Cheney used the Lefties of MSNBC to attack his own party.

I miss Jack Hunter.

Jack Hunter advocates liberty,

I'm down with that. Grow Liberty.

kind people rock

I agree

Who cares if he doesn't believe in conspiracies. At the end of the day he wants what we want, our freedom. He did burn some bridges in a way I don't think he meant to, but I have no beef with him personally. I am sure that he could have an intelligent conversation with anyone on many different subjects.

I think he went down hill with this crowd

When he got into an altercation with the wearechange group. They are fairly annoying in my opinion.

I do too.

I do too.

Jack was brought down

By a combination of things.

He succumbed to political correctness when he should have fought it.

His desire to become part of the beltway crowd caused him to turn his back in the grassroots which had elevated him.

He should take a page from Jim Goad, a real revolutionary writer and pundit.

"If this mischievous financial policy [greenbacks], which has its origin in North America, should become endurated down to a fixture, then that government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off its debts and be without debts. It will hav

I do miss Hunter

He was worth more than any number of the lumpenlibertarians that hated him.

Not at all

He's a bum, and I don't miss him a bit. I hope we find him selling shoes somewhere, which is where he belongs.

No King but Jesus, no President but Ron Paul

hes a D-bag

I never remember him writing an article to the Paul nation about Jesse Benton so he's one of the people that sat by while fat blobs destroyed the movement from the inside.

Well, that most recent

Well, that most recent article does paint him in a better light.

I think Jack became a little frustrated at the way the media would go about its business. But the media always does that, they sensationalize things.

Actions speak louder than words.

Granted politics is brutal with both verbal and word abuse. How people respond to this abuse is the critical element. The model for how to deal with such abuse is Ron Paul, who took the highroad every time and did not abandon his principles. Jack Hunter caved.

I am glad I don't have to listen to Jack Hunter's annoying voice on the front page of the Daily Paul.

The final Jeopardy answer is: Both are traitors of Liberty

Jeopardy question: Who are Jesse Benton and Jack Hunter?

Right, you win!

He was a great contributor at first but then alienated a bunch of people just so he can "play politics" like a good sellout.

For all the criticism

Ron has gotten over speech delivery the man does a good job of herding cats.

Hey Ron ... what do you think of voluntaryism? I like it and I think that is what my ultimate goal is.

Hey Ron ... are you an anarcho capitalist? No, but I sure have moved more and more in that direction over the years. But the whole competing police thing ... I am not quite there yet. I just don't envision how it could work out if it was implemented tomorrow.

Hey Ron ... what do you say to those evil libertarians who don't vote? Well ya know, I have known some of them pretty well over the years and I used to get some criticism by the purists for taking up political office. They would question if I actually accomplished anything. We had the housing bubble, the 2007 presidential campaign, and shazam! Young people turning out everywhere. It's like I was in the right place, in the right time, with the right credentials, the right moral character, and the right message.

Hey Ron ... how do you think this sucker will be turned around? Well ya know, government reflects the people so it is a battle of ideas. When people adopt the ideas of liberty change will occur in both parties to reflect the will of the people.

Now ----------------------------------------

Hey Jack ... what do you think of those anarcho capitalist, voluntaryist, evil purists? Purge em ... they can't help us, only hurt us.

After he started going off about the 'conspiracy theorists' in the movement, and supporting Romney before RP was even out of the race. I'm done with him.

I miss his YouTube videos a bit, but otherwise not really.

He showed his true colors in the '12 presidential campaign when we sold out and supported Romney so quickly.

Nope. Not at all.

Good riddance to him.

Why was the racist history never brought during Paul Sr.?

Why was the racist history never brought during Paul Sr's campaigns? Jack was the official blogger of the campaign back then. I wonder why the media didn't bring it up then.

I thought his movies/videocasts were pretty good.

He became

one of the highest profile dividers representing the purge, among us.

In my neck of the woods, original core Paulers have backed out in mass from being directly involved.

The dividers got what they wanted and can move forward with their strategy of smoozing establishment types. That's fine. Like they said, "Do what you want."

I have moved out from the political arena and into the 2nd Amendment fray in NYS. Still active just positioned differently.

Many are not interested in the dividers. NYS took an activist hit when the dividers rose.

I don't miss him.

I enjoyed his writing thoroughly.

He can't be a "southern Avenger", and also a suave political insider - one or both is a lie.
