Christian Coalition backing Ben Carson for President "Run Ben Run"

Text of email I recieved:

Dear Friend,

You and I must win the White House in 2016. That’s why I urge you to sign the petition urging Dr. Ben Carson to run for President of the United States.

Did you see Ben Carson’s speech at the National Prayer Breakfast? With President Obama sitting only a few feet away, Dr. Carson said this about taxes...

“When I pick up my Bible, you know what I see? I see the fairest individual in the Universe, God, and he's given us a system. It's called tithe. Now we don't necessarily have to [make] it 10% but it's the principle. He didn't say, if your crops fail, don't give me any tithes. He didn't say, if you have a bumper crop, give me triple tithes. So there must be something inherently fair about proportionality.

I believe non-politician Ben Carson is the right man at the right time to serve as President of the United States. That’s why I urge you to please sign the enclosed petition to Ben Carson right now. Why? Here are 3 reasons...
•Ben Carson will win. In fact, when I explain, you’ll understand why he is the only candidate who is sure to win.
•Ben Carson will heal America. As President he will heal America and unite us as one people working together to achieve the American dream.
•Ben Carson is a Tea Party conservative. He has supported the Tea Party since it began and he has practical, commonsense solutions to the problems that plague our land.

Why is Ben Carson Sure to Win?

In 2011, internal polls showed that Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain was backed by 40% of black Americans.

Mr. Cain was well liked, but Dr. Carson is a national hero in the black community.

If Herman Cain could poll 40% of the black vote, running against the first black president, just imagine what percent of the black vote Dr. Ben Carson would receive running against Hillary Clinton or any other far left white Democrat!

I believe Ben Carson will win more than 50% of the African American vote.

But, if Ben Carson receives just 20% of the black vote, no Democrat candidate for President, black or white, can win!

That’s right, just 20% of the black vote!

And, the Democrats know it. They know that their grasp on power is hanging by the thread of the lie that all conservatives are racists.

The election of Ben Carson would create a sea change in American politics. It would permanently dismantle the Democrat coalition that gives them victory year after year.

The end of far left Democrat Party dominance!

In a head-to-head contest with Hillary Clinton, there’s just no way that Ben Carson will receive less than 40% of the black vote.

But, the Republican establishment is uncomfortable with Dr. Carson because he is an outspoken Christian conservative, and a Tea Party Republican. They want another establishment Republican as their presidential nominee.

And, if the GOP nominates another establishment Republican, Hillary will win.

The nomination of Dr. Ben Carson is our sure path to victory in 2016.

But, Just Winning Isn’t Enough!

We must elect a man who will not settle for politics as usual.

We must elect as man who is 100% committed to the United States Constitution, and to the principles of freedom set forth by the Founders; a man who will insist on a balanced budget, and who is not a captive of political correctness. A man who believes that the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. A man who understands that true wisdom comes from the Bible.

And, we must elect a man who has the courage to stand up to the President of the United States and tell him to his face that Obamacare is a disaster that must be repealed as Dr. Carson did at the National Prayer Breakfast.

Dr. Benjamin Carson is That Man!

This is where Dr. Carson stands on the important issues of our day. If you stand with him, then please sign the enclosed petition now.
•Abortion. End it now! It is barbaric.
•Marraige. It is between a man and a woman only as ordained by God
•National Debt. Cut government spending by 10% each year, across the board, until the budget is balanced!
•Obamacare. Repeal it! Replace it with a free market health savings account.
•Taxes. Make it fair and make sure that everyone has skin in the game. Everyone pays.
Immigration. Listen to the American people, secure our borders. End it. •Redistribution of Income. Stop it. It’s un-American.
•Welfare. It not only encourages self-destructive behavior, it is a trap. Replace it with a truly compassionate, free market approach that enables those on welfare to gain prosperity through employment and entrepreneurship.
•Judges. Appoint judges committed to the US Constitution.
•Political Correctness. It is dangerous. It hinders progress and divides our nation.
•Right to Keep & Bear Arms. It’s a vital part of the our Bill of Rights! End of story!
•Democrats and Republicans. Both have been part of the problem. America first!

The most important reason to support Ben Carson...

Dr. Carson is the only man who can heal and unite Americans - black ,white, Hispanic, men and women, employer and employee, young and old.

Only once before, during the Civil War, were Americans as divided as they are today.

Dr. Carson will end the rancor, the distrust, the divide that has been crassly exploited by the leftists who control the Democratic Party. He will unite us as one great nation.

And, Ben Carson is a proud and unrepentant American!

“...there is no country I’d rather be a citizen of and call home than America. Where else but in this land of opportunity are people given so much freedom to pursue their dreams, with the potential to bring out the best in everyone?”

Ben Carson is a winning candidate! But, will he run?

Almost certainly! He has made it clear he will run if asked, if drafted...

This is what he said to a New York Times reporter when asked if he was considering a run for President...

“Certainly if a year and a half went by and there was no one on the scene and people are still clamoring, I would have to take that into consideration. I would never turn my back on my fellow citizens.”

Dr. Carson is just waiting to hear from you and me!

He agrees with the Founders’ idea of citizen statesmen serving their country, and that’s why he believes he must be called to serve by American citizens before being entitled to run.

Are You Ready to Clamor?! Dr. Carson is waiting to hear from you!

If you want to win in 2016, and you want to end the racial divide and elect a genuine conservative as President, then please join me in clamoring for Ben Carson today.

Please sign the Run, Ben, Run! petition today.

Let Dr. Carson know that you want him to run for President in 2016.

Ben Carson will run if we send him hundreds of thousands of petitions urging him to run for President. So won’t you...

Please sign your petition today!

And, when you do so, won’t you please give this effort your most generous financial support? This is a national campaign. We need your dollars now to start organizing, especially in the early primary states.

We must generate news and show Dr. Carson that he has national support by placing billboards in the early primary states and, early in 2014, start running national radio advertising, to be followed by national television advertising.

Your gift of $35 or more today will help pay for a field organization that will work to put Ben Carson on the ticket in every primary state.

Early dollars are critical to success!

Your early support of $35 or $50 or $100 or even $1,000 or more is worth multiples of that amount next year.

Don’t forget, the National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee is a Super PAC and that means we can accept contributions of any amount from individuals, partnerships and corporations.

Establishment Republicans are already running hard and they have deep financial pockets. They are nice people, but they are not conservatives like you and me. Their nominee lost the last two elections for President and they are sure to lose again.

And, of course, Hillary Clinton is trying her best to match Barack Obama’s billion dollar campaign.

But, you and I can nominate and elect a man the Founders would be proud of, a man dedicated to the US Constitution and to fiscal responsibility. You and I must put our efforts and our dollars behind Ben Carson.

Won’t you please strike a blow for victory in 2016, and for freedom, by donating to the National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee today?

John Philip Sousa, IV
National Chairman

P.S. Don’t just sit back and let the Republican Establishment pick the next GOP nominee! You can change the future. My great-grandfather was proud to be an American and I can guarantee you that he would be among the first to put his name on the petition that clamors for Ben Carson to run for President. That’s why I hope and pray that you will join this crusade to save America by signing the Run, Ben, Run! petition, and by donating at least $35 to this crucial draft effort. God bless you and God bless America!

His stance on guns in the country but not in the city

made him unelectable

Carson has one weakness...

the MIC.

Don't be fools!

It is a set-up. Remember this happened during the media-wide message that the Republicans are looking for minority votes? It is not a coincidence. Remember - this guy was pushed by Sean Hannity, A CIA/bankster tool.

And now, a Christian group that supports killing little brown children and world-wide genocide against Muslims wants him in. A group that obviously from what is written fully supports the false two-party system. A group that is willing to have our children die for Israel.

These are the same people that spat in our face the last seven years!

Seriously......remember taking the red pill?

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

I agree with the first half

I don't agree with the second paragraph, not that I'm a member or a fan of the CC, I'm not. I get emails for GOP organiozations because of my committee seat, and I thought this was informative, and I agree with you, Carson is a set up, the GOP is working very hard to become a minority party representative, but not because of the country you mentioned.

In the movie, The Matrix, you were given a choice of a red or blue pill.. but in the real matrix, there are far more choices.

What that Christian group supports is ending the killing of ALL children world wide, and that includes supporting Muslim girls like Malala.

Unlike that country you mention, the USA is entangeling its self with UN agendas.. that country does not. Islam is dependent in the UN, that country you mention is not. The USA has become dependent, we are no longer producers, but consumers of made someplace else stuff.

I also think the selection of Carson by the CC was less devious, but more along the lines of, "We are not racists", just like many who voted for Obama. One of the main reasons people voted Obama was, "He's Black, he's mixed race".

A bit too focused

I think you mean you disagree with one sentence in the second paragraph?

I get that you have some "spiritual", "Israel is holy" thing going. I'm fine with that. But, you cannot deny that the Christian Coalition fully supports genocide against Muslims and the wonton killing of innocents in 10 countries and growing because they believe in a different magic sky daddy. To do so would be beyond ignorant.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

Nothing spiritual about it

I do not believe nor find the Christian Coalation into genocide, yet look no further than Sudan and other Muslim nations to see genocide by Muslims against Muslims.. today in Pakistan, another suicide bombing.. Thank God for Malala, the best thing to happen for Islam in my lifetime.

Then you are blind, and ignorant

George Bush - 1 Million Iraqi's, Sudanese, Pakistanis
Bill Clinton - 1.5 Million Iraqi's, Libyans, Afghans, Pakistanis
Bush Jr. - 2 Million Iraqis, Afghans, Pakistanis, Sudanese, Yemenis
Obama - 1/2 Million and counting, 10 countries

All killed while the Christian Coalition and its members jumped for joy and sang "God Bless America" at the top of their lungs and reveled in the sight of children blown to bits to fight "terror" and voted for Republicans every time to continue the effort. You can't deny it. The evidence is overwhelming - on every "news" network for 20 years. The USA is the most religious nation on Earth, and overwhelmingly Christian, and an empire that does great evil against innocent people.
And why?..How does the military industrial complex get away with it?...Why do the citizens not care?...Easy answer: Because 'those' people believe in a different god, a different magic sky daddy, and 'ours' is superior and has a bigger pee-pee. (That is called "genocide")

This doesn't count the millions of displaced, and the suffering, and the constant fear. Then there is quality of life. Before we intervened, Iraqis & Libyans & Syrians had Christian churches, the girls could wear jeans and go to school, the men could get together and have a drink, they enjoyed secular rule. Now those nations are pools of sectarian violence and oppression. And yes, that is Muslims doing it to 'different' Muslims - but it was US that put the bad ones into power.

It is obvious you don't care about murder or genocide. And, that is fine - that is your morality and your choice.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

When you give nationalities

you are not showing or proving that Muslims are the targets, but nations, which represent a few of the world's Muslim majority nations. A very few nations, each with different national and UN statistics, including the Muslim divisions that reside in each nation, as truth be told, unprovoked radical Muslim death and destruction are the root problem.

I don't know any Christian jumping for joy, though I'm sure MSM can pay someone somewhere to give us an act, least we forget many are in the military, and none I know come back jumping for joy.

The thing that seems to really put the Christian coalation off the most, is watching the men in these nations use their children and women as human sheilds and stool pidgeons, suicide bombing and genocide, and with the dozens of millions of refugees from the exteremeism taking place, none of these nations open their doors and take in Muslims.. rather they are placed in FEMA like UN camps which those same Christians, because they are working are watching their tax dollars go to those countries as the Christians and Jews work to save lives and provide opportunity for Muslim children. I don't see them over their on religious missions converting anyone.

You say the evidense is overwhelming on every news work for 20 years.

I have seen more TV on YouTube because I have never been into TV or radio, I don't pay any attention to it.. I'm not tuned in to MSM.. recently I've been into Mid East movies, and I love them. My favorite actress is from the West Bank Haim Abbass.

I don't believe the USA is the most religious nation by a long shot. Innocent people losing trheiur lives in war is always a tragedy never anything to celebrate, and yet radical Islam marches the dead bodies of their victims, homosexuals, women, people set up and condemed to death by haters who spend all their time seeking rockets to lauch and WMD.

The MIC is a racket which produces things like that computer you're using, and your using that computer supports the MIC.

The genecide in Sudan is not being committed by the USA or by Christians, but by Muslims against Christians http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_Darfur

I don't agree it was the USA who put the bad ones into power. I do believe that the USA mae bad deals with who was in power when they built ports, mines, wells, and I think it's the same old "Indian giver" BS, after the Americans build, then the corrupt leader moves to take it, after all, it's on his property, and wars start.

I think Malala is a great example of Pakistan and Islam.

I care very much, and why I appreciate the technology and science coming out of a country that shall not be named, which is inventing solutions for energy, water, food.. I think war is a human condition in Earth, as it seems there is always a war and rumors of war. I hope I don't see one personally.

The UN set up ISRAEL, you're one big contradiction

The Jews were kicked out of the holy land during the time of Jeremiah, they came back later to reject Jesus Christ as Messiah then God rejected them, The UN put in place the state of ISRAEL and you trashing the UN is laughable since they are the ones that set up your "THRIVING," country. A country that kills innocent people and destroys homes and laughs about it. A country that is less then 1 % Christian. "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and EVEN NOW ALREADY IS IT IN THE WORLD." 1 John 2:22; 1 John 4:3. Every Rabbi is by definition an AntiChrist!

Lets stick with history

Jesus (Yeshua) didn't actually exist. It is a myth. The history of the Bible is fiction.

But, outside of that, I'm with you one the whole killing innocents and laughing. You saw the Twin Towers Burning Costume didn't you?

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

"Jesus didn't exist."

You're entitled to your opinion, but you're not entitled to the facts, there are plenty of unbelieving scholars that know full well that Jesus existed, to say he didn't exist is to put it mildly "out to lunch" or "Fringe." So my advice to you is stop watching Zeitgeist and read a standard history book, they talk about Jesus, your Zeitgeist buddy is not smarter then 2,000 years of recorded history, sorry :)

You have a lot of history to learn

It was the League of Nations, after WWI, the British and French divided the Ottoman (Turkish Empire) England established the Palestine which Jordan, Pakistan, and the country that shall not be named was established (the country that shall not be named occupies 15% of the original territory). anyways, the UN has evolved since it was created, and adopted a UN Agenda 21, which that country rejects, and why it thrives.

I'd be happy to give you links and facts, and if you are not interested, that's ok too. Most folks don't know the facts, so you're in the majority and that may be best for you.

League of Nations

did not establish the nation of ISRAEL you fool, it was established by the UN after the civil war between Jews and Arabs. Palestine was the geographic region of the time not a state, it was controlled by all kinds of people's throughout history including the Babylonians during the time of Jeremiah and Daniel the prophets, those are histories you chose to ignore? or were you ignorant of them? I think you need the history lessons. The British didn't institute the State of Israel, the UN did. The Palestinian state has been occupied by Israel since 1967. You didn't touch the rest of my comment, gee I wonder why? Can't defend Israel on religious grounds they fall seriously short.

We don't agree on the history, and while I would love to discuss this, I am awae there is a ban and I respect the owner's of the site's request, which is why I'm not going into this and leaving you links. Least we forget the Balfore Treaty.

We both know where we stand.

Ben has a great personality.

You can probably tell where I'm going with this.

He seems like a really nice guy, but honestly his stances remind me of Bush Jr. before he was elected. Why, after all this time, have I not heard about his foreign policy stance? I feel he has something to hide in that area and I'm not going to like it.

He has social policy issues at the top of the list as a higher priority than fiscal or monetary ones. This is what pisses me off about social conservatives. How hard is it to leave those things to the states?

I think of Ben as a much less atrocious and vile version of Rick Santorum.

It's Hard to Leave Social Issues to the States...

When social liberals are hard at work nationalizing each issue through the courts, bureaucracies, and federal policies. Or when federal decisions, like Roe v Wade, have not been overturned so as to keep it from returning to being a state matter. There can be no purging of these issues from the national agenda until BOTH the social left and social right's federalization of them is addressed.

Social conservatives also believe they have long been slighted by the GOP, who always campaign on their issues but fail to reverse social liberal achievements in office. Three decades ago, Reagan ran on being pro-family on social issues, pro-strength on defense, and pro-prosperity on economics. The economic people got theirs (tax cuts, economic boom), the defense crowd got theirs (bigger military, the end of Soviet communism), but the social right saw nothing, by way of a reversal of Roe, or the left's agenda in normalizing homosexuality.

"Economic conservatives get the policy, social conservatives get the rhetoric," in Maggie Gallagher's phrase. After 9-10 presidential cycles, they are entitled to notice the scorecard, and not be happy about it, hence they have been increasingly strident about being neglected.

Granger. Happy to see you have returned in real form.

This is the real Granger. 3 years before a presidential election, promoting an interventionalist, bible thumping, anti-gun wannabe with no experience. One of the few things he has in common with Ron Paul is that he is a medical doctor.

I will vote for Rand Paul as a compromise Republican candidate, but I could never vote for this guy.

Carson would do better running as an Indy

For he has destroyed his chance to garner the support on the right.

Stick a fork in him, he is done. With all of Obama's zombie followers, with the political use of the Sandy Hook incident, government could not do a thing about guns, and those that spoke out against the 2nd amendment in Colorado were recalled, no small feat in and of itself. If those that run for office take a stance against the 2nd amendment, then they have destroyed their chance to garner the votes needed based simply on that opinion, and even if he states that semi auto weapons should not be allowed in cities is the same as gun control. How many vets live in the inner cities that love their guns? I can tell you it is enough to shut down the gun control debate after the mass shooting of children, that's how many.

Always remember:
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~ Samuel Adams
If they hate us for our freedom, they must LOVE us now....

Stay IRATE, remain TIRELESS, an

Chun, Ben, Chun.

Tamar Killam for President!

I do like Ben Carson, but I hope he doesn't want to run; he's so much better than a mere politician.

Granger, I though you stood with Rand?

I don't think the establishment republicans will ever let anyone near that office that has not served a long time in the party and paid dues. Has that ever happened before? From Nixon, Ford, Dole, McCain, and the Bushes, all insiders of the republican party. Reagan, even being a Republican governor, really had to claw his way in and only made it with a convention floor battle, but then they only allowed it because he let HW Bush serve as VP.

Now if Ben Carson could somehow run as an independent, given the contempt most have for the parties, he probably has a better chance than anyone else. The best strategy would be to have Carson run as a democrat, we know they will let anyone in who can win. With Rand running as a republican we can't lose.

I love Rand

I don't think Rand is going to run for president.. I think he's going to stick with the Senate.

I haven't been saying much about the GOP because my jaw is still dropped.. the GOP is morphing.. Ben Carson is gfoing to strick with the GOP.. I expect to see a big influx of minorites into the GOP.. especially if Hillary runs.

I like Dr. Carson

I was introduced to him after his National Prayer breakfast speech. Since then I've gone on to read both Gifted Hands and America The Beautiful.

I pretty much agree with his entire message, with the exception of his foreign policy stance. In America The Beautiful he states that he favors intervention in the middle east.

Other than that, he is a sound voice of reason and doesn't let political correctness deter his message.

curious, does anyone think that with 32 states with court battles to make sharia courts, if anyone thinks there's a foreign policy in the mid east onterveining in the states?

No one that's informed does

There is no Sharia law in the states. There are people who privately agree to be ruled by Sharia law in certain private dealings (contracts or marriages).

Every instance of it that has been trumped up by the rightwingers has turned out to be a case involving enforcing a contract which was agreed to be interpreted by sharia law or by some muslim figure. One might think that is not a good thing, but the same laws allow people to contract to have their cases determined by Jewish law, and many do that very thing. The same laws allow people to agree to submit their disputes to mediation or arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

To be fair, there are a lot of nuts in islam, and a lot of abuses probably occur under Sharia law. But what is happening is a far cry from cases being decided according to Sharia law, or there being govt. sanctioned "sharia law courts." It seems like a lot of fear mongering using the brownish colored islamic boogeymen as a target. Heck, having a good enemy has always been good for the military-industrial complex!

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

I'm not saying it is established

I'm saying that some courts are being challenged.

I do not believe the people fighting for Sharia laws in the US are nuts. I think the problem begins innocently as having people who esteme and greatly value Sharia law, come to the USA, find there is not one, and demand the USA change to suit them.

I met a Muslim woman from Egypt who came to the US and had children. Her husband left her for his secretary. She is now, in her words, "stuck here". She can not go home because she would be punished for losing her husband. There is no court in the USA that would give her the satisfaction, whatever slim chance that would be, so she fights to establish Sharia Law. I understand that no one can know what the future holds for them. I don't believe she came to the USA to work to establish a Sharia court, she came here long before nine-eleven.

While the constitution is the supreme law of the land, I got involved with Ron Paul because Freedom is popular and Restoring the Republic to constitutional government with Bill of Rights is something I value.. as the UN global government grows, I have no doubt that Sharoa Laws will be established, for marriages, families by the supreme court. I'm sorry if I'm scaring you. I'll neer forget that woman.. I felt so bad for her. I feel so bad for so many Muslim women.. and children.. Malala for one.

I have doubts about that

They've made such a boogeyman out of all Muslims, and the Muslims themselves seem to love to play right into those stereotypes....for those reasons I don't really see Islamic courts happening here.

Also there are obvious problems with the constitutionality of it given the first amendment, which if anything has been interpreted in a way that keeps the government too removed from religion. If we can't have a cross on the wall at a govt. building I don't see publicly funded courts for Muslims only happening.

Also to do so would open a huge can of worms. Muslims are not a very large minority here, so would that mean that every other religion, or sect, would get their own courts? Jews have much more political clout, are generally thought of well by both main parties (for different reasons) and they've not pulled that one off. Would there have to be Buddhist courts? Atheist courts? Scientology courts? Batshitt cult loonie courts? It really would get messy very quick and the arguments against this, in our culture.

Too bad about that woman, but on the other hand, a single Muslim woman that doesn't have to go back there should maybe be thankful.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

The Constitution

Constitution protects religious freedom and thus it would be unconstitutional to not incorporate Shaira laws.

As you pointed out in your post, Jews (and Catholics BTW) have "courts" and they are conducted for marriage and divorse.

The constitution protects a monority from the majority. I know many here disagree with me; However, my research shows that Jews have very little political clout. What they have are wealthy business connections that are connected to the MIC because that's where the big money is in inventions.. usually the government will have and use something like radio, long before it goes public.

And yes, I believe it's going to get very messy, just as any soverign country loses it's customs for a UN Agenda. Here in CA we passed a bill allowing non-citizens to be on juries.. just waiting for Brown to sign into law.. brought to us by the GOP who said nothing about it, but is spending as much money, that suddenly appeared, on minority candidagtes and issues like this.. MSM talks tea party, but that just became a coalation here.. I see the people, but they are not the people with the power. http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2013/08/29/California-bill-wo...

Copy and paste much?

Every long post you make is accurate in grammar and spelling. Where do you get these long posts? You sure as hell are not typing them yourself. You have short posts that always have errors, but then you post paragraphs that have no errors. I am sickened that you are allowed on the Daily Paul again.

Formerly rprevolutionist

I do

I stated that I got this information in an email and shared the email because I thought folks might like to see it for themselves than read my dyslexoc crap for writing.

by saying that you are sickened, for whatever reason, says you are sick. Maybe that's what you want in life? If not I suggest you find a way to LOVE. Seek to be sick and you will be. Seek to find LOVE and it's there. It sure feels a lot better than being sick.

Get well soon!!!
