Ben Swann Exclusive: Government Program to Control Religious Thought?

http://youtu.be/19u2twNseXo

Is the U.S. Government working on a program to…well…program the way you view religion?

A whistleblower who has worked on that program says yes and he wants you to know exactly what has been going on.

The first towards truth is to be informed.

If I told you that the Defense Department was using taxpayer dollars to learn how to influence people with religious beliefs in order to control those beliefs, would it really surprise you?

Would you think that I am a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist?

Would you care if I told you that the program was aimed at controlling fundamentalist Muslims?

How about fundamentalist Christians?

The first step toward truth is to be informed.

Ben gave a reasonably clear

Ben gave a reasonably clear performance of a very technical subject. I'm glad to see corporate backers contribute to his Reality Check series as well. Ron Paul should do likewise with his channel on the InterNet.

That's it! I'm donating.

I haven't gotten around to it, but now's the time. Thanks Ben!

Bump

Bump for Ben, he can articulate a story like this like no other.

Old news, but -

This is perhaps old news, but it's good that it's coming to light again. Many of the so-called "Christian Religious Organizations" throughout history have used violence and bigotry as a means to their success, but it is exceedingly difficult to convince a fundamentalist base - with an actual understanding of the pacifistic nature of Christ's teachings - that dropping bombs on Iraq and Afghanistan is what God wants for their nation. It is in fact impossible without a little persuasion . . .

Ever since the epiphany that I - and many of us, in fact - had regarding the "miraculous demolition" of the Twin Towers and Tower 7, it has been obvious to me that pitching a duality of "us v. them" in the minds of these fundamentalists was one of the many major movers in the September 11 "miraculous demolition". That made it somehow "alright" in their collective mindsets to advance as Romans, Germans, et cetera.

Many of us already knew that the "NSA is listening" long before Snowden, and many of us already knew that our military was capable of committing horrific crimes against humanity long before Manning, but lets keep the whistles blowing - people of sound mind are still listening as well.

Minor nitpick

You describe Christ's teachings as "pacifistic" - this is inaccurate, He never condemned justified violence (self-defense), but rather "living by the sword." Non-aggression, basically.

Sorry, it's the little things that bug me. :P Otherwise, just about spot on.

True by your understanding of the context -

Christ did say to his disciples in Luke, " . . . he who does not own a sword, let him sell his coat and buy one." And it was Jesus Christ that made a whip out of brambles and drove the moneychangers from the temple. I could have said "essentially" pacifistic to provide myself leverage if I thought I had needed that - but in all actuality His teachings of continual forgiveness, turning the other cheek and asserting that His kingdom is not of this world and that His followers should not fight physically for the cause (in John 18:36) affirms the essence of His teachings as pacifism. To assert that there is always another way to act before resorting to violence would be "pacifism" as the context of the word has been lexically (not culturally) understood - my Webster's says that it means "opposition to war or violence", which would indeed describe the Prince of Peace! But you are right in questioning, since polarization in our culture leaves no room for any middle ground. In truth, what you feel led to do for your nation is a different matter altogether, albeit one that comes under manipulation quite often.

In the end, as Paul puts it, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord."

I guess this substantiates the claim:

"The Devil made me do it."

yup; if that doesn't

say scream "BEWARE: Manchurian Candidate Ahead!" don't know what does.

FRONTPAGE!!!

In a fair universe this would earn him another Peabody.

Lol. And some actually naively believed that MKULTRA ended...

Ben hits another one out of the park!!!

Yeah its pretty heavy stuff

I just saw on Facebook that Swann is filming another 4 episodes today! Nice! Also, wonder if he and Glen Greenwald have ever spoken?

"It’s not pessimistic, brother, because this is the blues. We are blues people. The blues aren’t pessimistic. We’re prisoners of hope but we tell the truth and the truth is dark. That’s different." ~CW

Yup: been very impressed

with his new endeavors.

Frankly considering the US military's intel/psyop unit at Ft. Huachuca nearby, the fact that DARPA is funding the continuation of their/CIA's MKULTRA program, is not surprising.

God, all that brain power and research wasted on DoD BS; imagine the possibilities in treating PTSD and other psychological trauma, to improving learning disabilities and anxieties, memory recall and management, etc...

Though, who knows? Perhaps that whistleblower may have told himself, that such non-military derivative options would eventually be made available and that's why he decided to participate. If so, hate how the policestate R&D paradigm eventually always seem to put even the most brilliant, well meaning, but geopolitically naive, researchers at such moral quandries .o/

Its not science fiction...

Control the narrative and if necessary, use magnetic stimulation to force people to accept the view of the U.S. that we desire them to have.
