New Jersey Senatorial Election Today!

Todays the day! After being outspent 8-1 Steve Loneagan has increasingly rose in the polls, from being a longshot to a chance from the disgust of mayor corey booker. I have been tracking social networking feel on the major NJ news sites and wow do people truly dislike corey booker. I think this race is alot closer than we think.. And your vote and every vote matters. This race is unpredictable, but im asking and pleading with you if you havent voted and or dont plan on voting to vote. This election does matter and the impact if loneagan wins will be huge. His policies on illegal wars, the fed, surviellance, and liberty is just what we need in washington. Please vote! Bring a friend! Call people! We can win this!

All New Jersey liberty activists will you be voting today for steve loneagan? What have you heard at the grassroots level?

From NJ...

.. I am a member of the New Jersey 2nd Amendment Society (www.nj2as.com) and we were running a twitter campaign for Lonegan. NJ is heavily Democratic but even a lot of Newark residents do not like Booker (at least the outspoken ones as Donna Jackson)...

Hey, the fight must continue, just resist!

Remember if Booker wins today, then he will most likely carry 2014 and run for President in 2016... as Obama 2.0 squared...

Sad part

is social media will not determine a winner. Ron Paul was blowing up on social media and still lost. Plus their are millions of fake accounts on Facebook.

I don't think Booker is up enough

With the so-called Democrat counties reporting a good percentage of the vote, while the out state smaller percentages.

This is from the politico site.

Beginning to look hopeless.

Lonegan inching back to 47%, but Essex, Bergen and Middlesex still holding back results and will pour it on later.

Only 2%

Reporting

According to politico

Less than a 1000 votes separates the 2 with less than 1% reporting in a Booker district, could be long night.

reading Lonegan Facebook page

people saying their districts very heavy turnout, after voting people are in the parking lot talking about Lonegan, crying and yelling at other people to vote Lonegam.

This seems like a positive sign, hopefully. At the other end, people in Bookers county saying they don't care if Booker was last Democrat on earth, they are not voting for him, he is a disaster.

Thanks for the link! Would love to see how my county voted.

Sure hope they update that site to include all of the many NJ Counties!

Thanks Joe for the link.

Although we could just wait until 2 seconds after the polls close when CNN dictates who NJ's senator will be for them at 0% reporting.

I like

:)

In all honesty ...

Dose it really matter ... No more Ds no more Rs .. A true independent vote here ( Ed Stackouse Jr )

Don't Give me Liberty, I'll get up and get it myself!

Yeah, but it isn't the R's are pushing for a John McCain

or lindsey graham. It has significant impact for our allies as well as our positions if he wins or gets a significant base of votes that shocks the establishment.

How much can you people take ?

You keep putting people with those little ds and little rs next to their name

HOW THE HELL IS THAT GOING TO HELP CHANGE A DAMN THING !!!!!!!!!!

I understand what your saying but I think it is hogwash.
1 REAL ( not Joe Liberman ) independent in the house will do more for liberty than a fully-armed and trained militia

in this case

yes, vote Lonegan

Cape May County Vote

I voted about 1:30. In my dinky little town, primarily Republican county I was 43…. That is a lot for this area on a special election. Problem is that I had about 9 choices…..

GOTV for Lonegan!

You need to walk your precinct and ensure republicans make it out to the polls! We can win this!

I like Lonegan on 99% of the issues, I just felt he couldn't market our ideas well. That was why I supported Alieta Eck in the primaries because she could really have given Booker a run for his money.

Anyways, we gotta try to get Lonegan a win!

I'm still undecided. I agree

I'm still undecided. I agree with Lonegan about 60% of the time, but the man himself is such an a-hole. So far in this campaign he's managed to malign Cory Booker by implying he's gay, then said he wants everyone to know that he "likes being a man" (as if gay men aren't men), then made a joke about people getting murdered and their bodies polluting streams, then sends out a Tweet about how Cory Booker's foreign policy is pro-African (based on nothing other than the fact that he's black), then he talks about how he's so manly because he prefers drinking scotch to getting a manicure. His whole campaign has been about blaming Booker for the murder rate in Newark.

If you think I'm focusing too much on the man and not on his polices, he's got a lot of baggage himself. The self-acclaimed anti-bailout man secured a bailout for himself when he was mayor. He wanted Bogata to have an official language -- if that's not shoving government down our throats I don't know what is. He's pro drug war. He chides Obama for not being tough enough against Iran. He wants to further limit legal immigration.

Like i said, I agree with him on maybe 60%. That's probably enough to get my vote. But I will vote for him grudgingly, because I really feel terrible about endorsing this foul man who feels the need to go off on ad hominen, irrelevant attacks every time he opens his mouth.

They entertain you while they're raping you.

Cory Booker, Hollywood stand-in for Obama.

Just because more people will vote for Lonegan doesn't mean . .

. . . he'll "win." You can no longer trust the vote counts. Sorry.

You're right, DC. BUT, it does matter because it is important

to let the machine know that we're mad as hell and our numbers are growing. Send them the message and get out there and vote for Lonegan today, NJ!

It will be interesting to see how wide the machine made margin will turn out to be in the end. If it's close, then I would consider that a small victory for our side, for a change.
