The US Senate: "freedom of speech and the press can be limited for...certain forms of state censorship"

According to the official Senate website, freedom of speech and the press "can be limited for...certain forms of state censorship" and whether or not the Second Amendment protects the right of the individual to bear arms is a matter for debate.

See the original here — the "explanation" of the 9th Amendment is also a doozy (see if you can catch the part they added): http://www.senate.gov/civics/constitution_item/constitution.htm#amdt_1_(1791)
