"Probable Cause" Not In The 4th Amendment According to Principal Deputy Director of National Intel-2006Submitted by JAYELES on Fri, 10/18/2013 - 00:58
This interview of General Michael Hayden happened on January 23, 2006 but I have never seen it on the DP. Although it happened seven years ago, it is so applicable today. Very enlightening. 1min 25seconds long.
Professor, General, Director of the NSA, Commander of Air Intelligence Agency, future Director of the CIA, to be on the board of directors at Motorola, and principal at the Chertoff Group, Michael Hayden states unequivocally that the phrase "probable cause" is not in the 4th Amendment to our constitution. He states in the video:
"...believe me, if there is any amendment to the constitution that the employees of the National Security Agency are familiar with, it's the 4th."
I'm sure he'd love to go back in time and re-do this interview.
