Something is definately up with this guy. I am not sure if it is good or bad for Ron Paul but if this guy steals votes from the other candidates, it will be good for Ron Paul since he will not steal votes from Ron Paul. I think this could be good.

I think this guy might be a secretive Ron Paul weapon. He sounds like he is running on the Ron Paul platform, However, he will never steal my vote from Ron Paul. Whose votes will he steal because I am sure he will not steal votes from Ron Paul. Something does not add up here.

He knows he can't win mathematically, entering the race this late. This leaves only two possibilities, he running for a possible VP spot or trying to sell his book, From Private to General - An African American Soldier Rises Through the Ranks.

Just because he announced on FOX does not make him that bad, read his policies. So far, I do not see " war mongering" although he does view Iran as a threat, he also suggests a peaceful regional solution, but does not close the door to US intervention. This is the only major difference I see in his foreign policy platform. My guess is, coming in so late in the game, this guy is running for VP.

take votes from us. Seriously though this guy entered the race way too late for him to do any damage. From what I read, he is skipping the primaries and heading straight to the national convention. I don't see how that will help him but I don't care about him doing well.

He may take a good bite of the pro-war military vote from McCain. That, and help keep the pro-war vote a bit more fragmented on Feb. 5.
Where he gets to run. I bet that, on most Feb. 5 ballots, he'll have to be written in (and that's not always allowed).
I don't think it'll hurt Ron Paul's military support. The big effect on Dr. Paul's campaign will be to ensure he doesn't finish last anywhere (which was the downside of Hines & Flintstone both dropping out).

RP + War?
I checked out his website. Aside from his endless droning on about God knows what in his stories, when you wake up from your boredome induced nap, you see that he is spouting alot of RP's positions except for this insane war - which is exactly what older Repubs are looking for. I have heard tons of older voters say "I agree w/ him (Ron Paul) on almost everything, except the war".. So, there you go. They've crafted their own RP 2.0.
