Government Sends Snipers to Intimidate Free Staters at NH PumpkinFest

http://silverunderground.com/2013/10/government-sends-sniper...

Keene features a low crime rate, with only 3 reported murders in the past 14 years. It has certainly not been attacked by terrorists and is by no means a hotbed of the type of violence that would necessitate hiding snipers on rooftops to watch over a fall festival about pumpkins. It seems the motivation has more to do with the presence of the peaceful activists from the Free State Project, as a police chief in nearby Concord, NH recently referred to them as terrorists in a request for a military-style mine-resistant armored vehicle.

This is an amazing example

Of how far off-track this country has gone.

This reminds me of the Bastiat quote regarding one group of people living off the other.

Those snipers are being paid for by the citizens, which they are basically allowed to kill with impunity.

"If this mischievous financial policy [greenbacks], which has its origin in North America, should become endurated down to a fixture, then that government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off its debts and be without debts. It will hav

The free-staters are known for acts of civil disobedience,

the article said. So I was curious what sorts of acts that might include. I can at least now understand why the police felt the need to be prepared with rooftop snipers. You're not going to believe the very first example I came across, this guy Mike Fisher who, understandably, was arrested!

---He conducted a public manicure, and he doesn't have a licence.---

Done "to protect what he believes is over-regulation by government on citizens and small businesses," he DID this--- "in front of the Manchester office of the state Board of Barbering, Cosmetology and Esthetics." Ooh. That had to hurt.

The manicure was given to the wife of a friend & fellow free-stater who (at the time) planned his own act of civil disobedience and likely arrest - to go to the airport and, against fed. law, not show his ID.

No wonder the Concord PD openly calls the free-staters "domestic terrorists." Or has "New Hampshire State Representative Cynthia Chase saying that, “Free Staters are the single biggest threat the State is facing today.”" http://www.examiner.com/article/concord-pd-calls-free-stater...

Before making any judgment, I just thought it was important to know the kinds of people NH law enforcement are dealing with such that they felt it necessary to have snipers at the annual family event, Keene's Pumpkin Festival. Well, we know what the "S" stands for in that front-row pumpkin. S is for Sniper! [Sniper: 1. A skilled military shooter detailed to spot and pick off enemy soldiers from a concealed place. 2. One who shoots at other people from a concealed place. Am Heritage] http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/2013/10/21/at...

Sad, this article from February. It shows how, given the wording of a Justice Department memo (leaked to NBC), these free-state people *would* seem to qualify to be assassinated. http://silverunderground.com/2013/02/does-the-drone-memo-jus...

Amazing

Government officials are dangerously slippery about who they call a terrorist. During the persecution of Liberty Dollar monetary architect Bernard Von NotHaus US Attorney Anne Tompkins said “Attempts to undermine the legitimate currency of this country are simply a unique form of domestic terrorism.” Which would seem to apply to Bitcoin as well.

In an application to acquire a Lenco BEARCAT (Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Counter Attack Truck), Concord PD stated:

“The State of New Hampshire’s experience with terrorism slants primarily towards the domestic type. We are fortunate that our State has not been victimized from a mass casualty event from an international terrorism strike however on the domestic front, the threat is real and here. Groups such as the Sovereign Citizens, Free Staters and Occupy New Hampshire are active and present daily challenges.”

"Thanks, but no tanks."

Yes, it's really out of hand. As the examiner states about those three groups (deemed "capable of a “mass casualty event”"): "Never mind that all of these movements are explicitly non-violent, and decentralized."

FYI,this regards the rally to stop the purchase of the BEARCAT - http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?425509-Concord-N...

people will do anything

For a Buck.

Sometimes it seems

they would like to START a civil war. The fair goers should have large signs exclaiming that they are not afraid of the big bad SNIPERS!
