Comic relief?

Dummy data file on Healthcare.gov offers Star Wars, Transformers characters

The file also features coding to upload a "Permanent Resident Card" PDF file for Marvel comic book character Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch) and data for Steve Rogers (a.k.a. Captain America.)

Another part of the code features "Maleficent Insurance" featuring a plan name of "Really Bad." An address within the code points to a "Laserwash" car wash in Harker Heights, Texas.

Thank you

1 Democrat Senator even recognizes this: (D) Sen. Joe Manchin,

who is joining forces with Johnny Issakson (R Ga), is backing delay of enforcement of the individual mandate for a year.

Man that's weird, I counted 5

Man that's weird, I counted 5 terminated youtube accounts on the first page returned from a youtube search with "jon stewart obamacare". And its not like they were removed due to copyright infringement, since there's plenty of other dailyshow videos on youtube. Its up on the dailyshow website though.

Not to mention

This morning I had to try over a dozen listings due to "network error" and "private" video.

Still, this video wal hilarious. The Tron/Pac Man crossover was brilliant. Not to mention the 4s and 5s and them knowing it should be 1s and 0s.

don't give up, there is hope

Working Link

Have no idea if it contains the same information of the original.

Cannot find the video on John's CC page

:(

Wish Congress or the Supreme Court would have flushed the

whole idea, instead of leaving it there to stink up the whole nation. It wasn't just the rollout that was a stench, its the $#1+ in the law itself. The rollout was simply gas between the law and enforcement.

John Stewart - Obamacare

I. The Weakest Link - A Few Glitches
John Oliver logs into HealthCare.gov and gets sucked into a Tron-like cyber-bureaucratic nightmare.
http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/mon-october-21-2013/the-we...
II. The Weakest Link - HealthCare.gov
Even the photo op to address the poorly planned rollout of Obamacare suffered from a clear lack of planning.

III. The Weakest Link
All that stands in the way of Democratic electoral success is a mildly competent implementation of the health care policy they battled so hard to keep.

Well, it would seem they are

Well, it would seem they are trying to stop this from spreading

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Nope, those are gone too.

Somebody wants it covered up fast.

It's basic instinct. Cats and dogs do it too.

When you produce a turd, you scrape and scratch and cover it up.

Content Blocked for Copyright Grounds? More like, Content Blocked for Censoring Purposes. LOL!

Everyone knows the Tea Party tried to stop it.

The Tea Party gave the progressers a chance to spare them of this epic embarrassment. Knowing their self righteous arrogant stubbornness, we knew they wouldn't go for it and fell right into our trap.

Video not working for me

here's another:

both videos are down

I sure as hell hope its not because the video is critisiing obamacare, because that would be downright stupid, considering they cant argue its not censorship by "copyright" when you can find jon stewart videos on OTHER stuff

So before i kinda jump the gun, does anyone have another working link.......copyright BE DAMNED

This just might push Stewart

This just might push Stewart across the line

I doubt it. His type are all

I doubt it.

His type are all the same. They complain about the status quo politicians, and are polite to liberty-minded people. But when the time comes, they back the fools when it comes election time. Towing the progressive DNC party line 200%.

They always do this. Stewart, Maddow, O'Donnel, etc...
They're polite, or make a small comment seemingly positive to liberty or liberty people. And knife you come election time or during a big vote.

BTW Software is very rarely written in ones and zeros.

Software engineers deal with symbolic languages and can create large programs without entering much in the way of numbers.

If fact, it is possible to create programs without entering any numbers at all.

Their information techniques have been adopted and adapted to many disciplines, including the business organization itself; a form of formalized thinking.

All that aside, most IT people struggle a bit and take a while to get it right, while some roll-out sweet humming machines.

I like to think that the most talented are also the most ideological and probably refuse to work for companies they don't believe in.

Maybe the site is messed up because the obamacare people could not attract good talent.

Not true

Device drivers almost always do things at the binary level.
For example, I am upgrading my treadmill to adjust incline based on my heartrate. Because I cannot get the necessary documentation from the now defunct manufacturer I need to replace the CPU with one I am able to program.

Part of this programming involves driving the LED displays on the control panel. These 8 segment and 8x8 DMDs are all driven by several 74xxx ttl logic ICs. Guess what 'code' I need to output to these circuits to light up the proper LED segments?

Show Me the Code and I'll Show That You Are Wrong

Also, I made a decent number of points in my comment to which you flatly responded with "Not True"; offering a specific counter-example.

If you are going to argue, please make it clear on what point you are arguing.

Engineers are typically skilled at looking at a problem from more than one angle, often because that is what is required to perform their job. I have the impression that you are taking a hard stance on a single view, while others exist and are more often practiced. Frankly, you appear to be acting like a "newbie" engineer. If you want to argue semantics, we will probably have a ridiculous back-n-forth.

All that aside, if you insist of tossing sloppy arguments my way, then show me the code and we'll get this point settled.

It all still translates to binary as a base

All of it.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.
