UPDATED This Could Be It - The Final Nail - Obama To Push House On Immigration Reform

With $billions$ spent over the decades and little to NO enforcement.. marco rubio promoting Biometric Identification in a previous bill.. NSA spying, etc. etc.

I am **OPPOSED** to so-called immigration reform. The existing laws are on the books. If they are truly as worried as they complain to be, then ENFORCE the ones that are already in place!

This may possibly be the final nail that once and for all ends Liberty, Freedom, as we once knew it.

I have already contacted my reps to OPPOSE any and all immigration reform.

Rant temporarily over, here is the October 23, 2013 article:

It's the national database ...

... hidden within the bill that you've got to watch out for.

They will show you what the left hand is doing, but you gotta watch what the right hand is doing.

Combine Odumbacare mandatory signups with a national biometric database ("only for immigrants" -- for now) hidden in the immigration bill, and what do you have?

Here's the immigration reform I want to see

H.J.Res.46 - Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to deny United States citizenship to individuals born in the United States to parents who are neither United States citizens nor persons who owe permanent allegiance to the United States.

Official Summary
6/13/2007--Introduced.
Constitutional Amendment - States that a person born to a mother and father, neither of whom is a citizen of the United States nor a person who owes permanent allegiance to the United States, shall not be a citizen of the United States or of any state solely by reason of U.S. birth.

Sponsored and written by Dr Ron Paul

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
James Madison

I would also add

they are neither allowed to receive any social welfare service, free education, or medical service unless it's for an emergency. The main reason we are so upside down on welfare and especially our medical system is, that these illegal immigrants abuse them, and pay nothing. I have heard over and over again of people I know who have a dire need of medical care, and these illegals are packing in the ER's for very minor problems, like small cuts on their fingers, colds, stomach aches, and the like, while they are paying insured in need of immediate medical attention. The main reason insurance and medical costs have risen, is for the large part these illegals not paying anything, so the costs are pushed on those who do pay.

Haven't you been paying attention?

You say, "This may possibly be the final nail that once and for all ends Liberty, Freedom, as we once knew it."

Where the hell have you been? That nail was driven when ACA and the individual mandate became law. Get with the times man. Liberty and Freedom have already lost their battle with the cancer that is our liberal government. Anything they do now is just throwing dirt on the grave.

Have I been paying attention?

You have got to be kidding me. I am FULLY aware of aca-aka-obam-ney-care, and agree that it is nothing less than spikes in the coffin.

Does that mean that you give up and let this immigration BS pass with ease? Mark my words that BOTH parties are complicit and will do whatever they can to make sure that you are RFID'd no matter where you choose to travel - phone or no phone.

Here are just a few threads which have received very LITTLE attention.. where in the he|| have YOU been?

Now, let us play nice, anothernobody, and do something about it. I am, whether you believe it or not, on your side. I am trying my very best, but do need help. It is up to ALL of use to demand our reps to represent us. CALL THEM - REPEATEDLY.

And lastly, DO pay attention, there is forum etiquette which MUST be adhered to. Your use of aca is completely unacceptable ;-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Hey, Hey man. Lighten up.

I never said give up on anything. I was just taking issue with a perceived turning point in our history. So let me rephrase.

If you think immigration is the nail in the coffin then you are behind. Immigration reform will be throwing dirt on the grave because the last nail in our freedom and liberty coffin is the liberal democrats "affordable care act" ;-), which not only hammered the last nail but also lowered the casket in the hole. With a stroke of Obama's pen we and our descendants officially became wards of the State and no longer in control of our own lives.

And to take the analogy a little further if you will. I feel like I am in that coffin and being buried alive but just like everyone else all I can do is scream. Sooner or later it's got to get physical.

And I understand completely the danger of so called immigration reform and believe me we are on the same side. A few years ago I closed out an account at b of a because of their support of illegal immigrants. And I made sure they knew why I was closing my account.

Thanks for the heads up on etiquette.

No worries, anothernobody...

I know that you were not attacking me, nor was I you :-)

The perspective that I have is this: Yes, we do agree about obam-ney-care. But at this moment I am free to walk, hike or drive anywhere that I want. If one should decide to go off of the grid, as extremely difficult as it may be, it is still doable. With immigration 'reform', or more specifically biometric identification, which we KNOW will be implemented to every person in this land, THAT is when the final nail will be driven. Requiring one to 'show papers' [rfid] will once and for all burn the chapter of the entire Bill of Rights.

I do understand your perspective and you are right. But from my perspective, we ain't seen nothin' yet.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Agreed

in that ACA is the line for many when directly subjugating citizens into purchasing a product of commercial speculation, rather than a policy which is incidental to many individuals

From the

article:

(RE: Immigration reform legislation)
"...The majority of Americans think this is the right thing to do, and it's sitting there waiting for the House to pass it," he said...

Oh, really. Not according to this poll: (HILL article, too)

Poll: Majority oppose more foreign workers under immigration reform

"...It showed that a solid majority of voters are worried about the impact immigration reform, which could put millions of illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship and create large guest-workers programs, will have on the labor market.

When asked what employers should do if they have trouble finding U.S. citizens to fill various jobs, 71 percent said they should raise pay levels to attract more candidates. Only 10 percent said employers should bring in immigrant workers to keep costs down..."

--AND--

“...The BUSINESS COMMUNITY has put hundreds of millions of dollars into trying to get these immigration increases through because it really goes against the basic thoughts and nature of the American voters..."

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/317149-poll-majority-oppo...

I absolutely agree with OP...I am opposed to so-called immigration reform...and follow the laws already in place!
