Not Just Guns, but 'Liberals' also want Cigars BANNED! Dear Control Freaks, Just LEAVE America, while You still have a Chance!

Of course, these arrogant degenerate pukes only want what they consider 'fun' to be 'allowed;' is there really no end to these lunatics?

Guns not only things ‘progressives’ trying to regulate out of existence

As has been observed many times before, the ongoing struggle we talk about in this column is not about guns, it’s about freedom. It’s about the freedom to make our own choices and not have Big Brother government dictate what “privileges” they will bestow, and importantly, withhold. It’s about the freedom of adult Americans to make choices for themselves, as opposed to being dictated to by bureaucrats who pretend they know what’s best for us, but in reality are simply amassing power for its own sake, and exploiting useful idiot do-gooders while masking their control agenda with the false air of benevolence.

As anyone who visits my Facebook page or listens to my regular appearances on Salem Radio Network’s nationally-syndicated “Armed American Radio” program knows, I’m a cigar smoker. I don’t smoke them every day, but if I did, that’s my business, and, I’ll concede, my insurance provider’s. I’ll not sit here and make the case that tobacco is good for us, although there’s something to be said for the relaxed state of mind and contentment enjoying a fine smoke in a congenial atmosphere can help bring on. Nor will I ask you to change your mind if you think it’s a nasty habit and don’t want to allow it in your home (I’m relegated to indulging either outside or on my enclosed porch, as I don’t particularly want it in the house either). As with guns, it is your right to personally claim or reject.

For those of y'all who also like to breathe out a few robustos, occasionally, while obviously NO GOVT should have any 'authority' over these areas, let alone anything else, regardless as it stands in the current paradigm, if inclined, please sign this petition:

Help Exempt Premium Cigars From FDA Regulation!
H.R. 792 / S. 772 - A bill to clarify the FDA's jurisdiction over certain tobacco products

Did you know that on April 26, 2010, December 20, 2010, July 7, 2011, February 13, 2012 the U.S. Food & Drug Administration publicly posted their intent to regulate cigars in the Federal Register?

Some of the measures FDA could consider, as we believe they are, include:

- Ban on walk-in humidors, self serve cigar displays, and mail-order cigar sales;
- Ban on all flavored cigars, that are enjoyed by legal-age adults;
- Deface ornate, decorative cigar boxes, often considered an art form with grotesque images;
- Ban on cigar events where free cigars (samples) could be available to legal-age adults;
- Limits on cigar marketing and advertising;
- Imposition of new 'user fees' [tax] on cigars, to finance regulations;
- Limits on special release and small-batch cigars, due to mandates that cigar blends be submitted to FDA for pre-approval before release;
- Limits on nicotine levels on cigars to near zero, severely impacting the flavor of cigars;
- Ban on marketing cigar merchandise.

There should be an amendment to protect another natural right

There should be an amendment that would mention explicitly another very important, natural right for the people to protect, maybe overlooked thus far, which shall never, ever be infringed as well:

the right of the people to not bother giving if only a micro gram of crap to whatever wanna-be law garbage is coming out of the heads of utterly useless and incapable** morons with blatantly evident, disturbing, acute control freakness.

... Yes, I do mean that very same pathological behavior (as reported here in the OP's) which is obsessed with (and precisely characterized by) a maniacal crave for ruling over people lives when it's clearly not for a micro second, any remotely, in any way, anything of those morons' f u cking business.

(**of producing any sh i t with their hands or brains, but only new schemes of shameless plunder)

"Cyril" pronounced "see real". I code stuff.

Losers

Why don't these losers just leave me the heck alone!!

I am going to puff a cigar right now just to piss you off.

Before I started smoking...

I complained because another writer used to sit right across a conference table and blow smoke in my face. When I asked corporate management if they could just put a little pressure on the writer to get a smokeless ashtray, the response was, "WE cannot violate his rights(!)"
Two years later, after the federal government got involved, smokers had to go outside to light up. The moral is, when government gets involved, things go from one extreme to the other and corporation could not care less about individual employees; which is one of the reasons government gets involved in the first place.

After I started smoking, I did smoke the "big, stinky" cigars on my patio. I had been living in the complex for TWELVE YEARS before the apartment management bitched so much that my wife and I shifted to "little cigars". I could have "made waves," because there is nothing in our lease, general or specific, that would have prevented us from smoking cigars; but, I tried to be a "good tenant".

Society shifts from one level of crazy to another. In Colonial America, some women wore bodices so low cut, they would make Kim Kardashian blush. During the Napoleonic era, French women favored the "wet tee shirt look," and many died of pneumonia attempting to achieve it.

Prior to the "liberal" Roosevelt, some films released in the US contained nudity or heavy cleavage. However, after 1933, cleavage did not return to movies until the 1960s. Take a look a 50s PLAYBOY centerfold. Most are tamer than the ads we see in magazines today. Yet, many mainstream publications "winked" at incest and sex with children. Yet, now, underage girls can be arrested for sending a nude picture of themselves to a boyfriend.

Liberals are not the only culprits. The draconian drug laws we have today are the result of idiot "religious right" do gooders. For me, the best solution is the libertarian one, as espoused by Ron Paul, "Leave people alone".

There is nothing wrong with the control freaks that a baseball bat and 10 minutes would not cure. However, I agree, those who immigrants (such as Piers-Morgan) and dual citizens (such as Michael Bloomberg and Charles Schumer) should be deported, as they do not respect our Constitution or our natural rights.

didn't know about

this, before:

though, must say, wouldn't mind seeing both...without the whole pneumonia coughy cough.

xD

again, making the 'cliche' not so cliche, but ever true: the more things 'change,' the more they stay the same.)

Excellent reason to go to Democrat Town Halls

with about 8 Liberty people and stand outside the building smoking cigars.

Be friendly, hand out 'pro-democrat' brochures to them too that show them which Democrat politicians get money from Big Tobacco that fight for our freedom to smoke them. That way they vote them out and make room for liberty candidates.

All I have to say is

Yes they do a great job playing the "new mom role" where they think they can prevent each and every disaster just by removing it from the place BUT once push comes to shove these little nanny state idiots are going to have a damn hard time trying to tell us what to do once we all finally stand up and take back our country, our liberties and send them back to england or wherever "their views" will do better.

America wasn't found on the "new mom role" and that is exactly what we fought for. Our right to live as we see fit while allowing others to do the same.

If you don't like my guns, go hide in your house even though if someone were to try and harm you WE would be more than happy to help stop them.

If you don't like my cigar smoke, go hide inside to keep your lungs from this evil all the while you are popping pills and taking mercury injections and happily giving away your property to the king in the form of taxes, regulations and "Banning".

there are few things more disgusting than cigar smoke--

IMO--

but why on earth? I mean, why?

This is definitely one of those privacy issues about which Dr. Paul has so eloquently spoken in the past.

It's none of the business of anyone but those who smoke them--

I can't remember the last time I was offended by cigar smoke; if someone who is allergic to tobacco smoke isn't complaining--

then what is the big deal?

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

You don't need to smoke a cigar to enjoy it...

I thought she smoked

it

Nah, it got soggy

and hard to light!

I hate it

when that happens

OMG! You guys have the best, most

wicked sense of humor!

obviously you're making a rhetorical point,

but of course, all of this is about control, just to let us, the 'peons' know who really gets to make all the rules, nothing more, nothing less, regardless of whether it's guns, food, cars, licensing, marriage, or cigars.

PS. Though I'd highly contest that cigar smoke is one of the most disgusting smells; it's really the smell left in a close, unventilated room, afterwards.

Though, I'd proffer that the most disgusting scent ever humanly devised is the stench of statist arrogance and all their uniforms and pomp and circumstances and rituals xD
