Both Of John Boehner's Primary Challengers Have Been Taking Questions On Daily Paul.

I made this thread over a month ago, since that time Both of these gentlemen have found this thread, joined the DP. And have answered some questions in the comments below.

Come on Ohio, take the RINO down! You can do it!

The race for Ohio’s 8th district seat — now held by House Speaker John Boehner — is getting downright crowded. So far, three candidates have declared they will challenge the West Chester Republican and 12-term congressman.

Advice for you both

1) Don't touch any conspiracies.
2) Don't be afraid to touch anything else, especially Common Core is an easy win.
3) If you honestly have conflicting thoughts, appeal to the Tenth Amendment. (according to the Consitution, so and so policy should be up to the states)
4) Appeal more to the Tenth Amendment.
5) Repeat step 4 until you win.

One thing everyone agrees on is restoring power to the states. If you want easy applause with liberty and tea party folk that's how you get it.

I will assume you are both at least as sincere and honorable as any other politician;) That said, you aren't John Boehner, so any sane person would prefer either of you.

In case anyone here might misunderstand

I'm not saying leave conspiracies alone because there are no true conspiracies. I'm saying leave them alone because the media is run by you know who, and that media will destroy anyone who lends credence to questions about the official fiction. The lesson we can learn from JFK, is that it's dangerous for politicians or would be politicians to openly threaten them. This is not a battle that a budding politician can fight, much less win. Best leave it to braver souls.

It SUCKS that this country is like that!

I challenge the paradigm.

Fight the power. Destroy the nwo. Expose the whores and presstitutes in mass media.

Will that get me marginalized? Yes. Defeated? Probably. But we need to WAKE UP the people.

One of these contenders, whoever falls to last in the early going, should go out SWINGING taking on ALL of these lies.

Boehner opponents video debate

This is from our debate last night.

Might be an easier way for you to see us in action.

Don't see any proof in the post

that they are taking questions that are posted here.

Changed it. Thanks

I thought people would scroll through the comments.

What are your views on

National Id's (Real ID) and Are you for or against the use of RFID chips in any form of ID, be it state ID, federal ID, Workers ID, Voters ID, or immigration ID?

Chirp chirp chirp

Ilive here in the 8th district

in Ohio look forward to defeating Boehner if at all possible. Going to have to start early and campaign hard. Boehner has all the establishment money behind him.

Boehner has an interesting challenge...he is going to have to campaign against "T Party" types and that opens up a real opportunity. Go get em guys and ,ay be the best freedom fighter win.

Assuming you both agree that priority #1...

is to replace Boehner and the rest of the Insiders' Club whose only objective seems to be to keep their state gravy train rolling, are you afraid that your campaigns are inefficiently dividing resources and, worse, the "unhappy with the incumbent" vote?

Would you submit to some sort of preliminary preliminary, in which you allow district voters to choose who they prefer to take on Boehner in the official primary (perhaps a series of YouTube debates and an online vote)? Perhaps the man with fewer votes could graciously work alongside the other in the official primary to unseat Boehner? I know it sounds crazy, but you know what they say about desperate times...

Unlearning and self-teaching since 2008. Thanks, Dr. Paul!

We've already started the

We've already started the process to some extent. We've spoken together at three places. There's a video to one of our talks here: bit.ly/1hRulv2. There have been two straw polls done--we're 1-1. No one garnered enough votes for the tea party/liberty groups to decide to coalesce behind one person yet.

This is a question asked of us all of the time. I'll give you my honest answer--I believe I'm the best candidate for the job, and I believe there's enough room (potential voters) for multiple candidates. It'll boil down to who works harder. Yes, it would be much easier if there were only one of us, but I think that both of us have to prepare as though multiple candidates are in the race. With that mentality, it wouldn't matter if Boehner threw in his own diversion (if he hasn't already--there are also two other guys in this).

That being said, I'm happy to submit myself to any vetting you wish to conduct. At this point, though, I intend to remain in as long as I believe I'm the best candidate (and by best, I mean most likely to win and further the cause of liberty). We've settled for too long for a "lesser of two evils" mentality.

Thanks for the response and the honesty. Best of luck. Goes without saying but I hope to God one of you manages to pull it off!

I second that motion.

When I ran for school board this past election, I spoke extensively with my "opponent" at the precinct location while we were both handing out slips. Knowing that my opponent was in fact Liberty but was better qualified for the position than I was, I assisted him by handing out HIS slips which led to victory :-)

We are all in this together.

Well done...

I think it'd go a long way with the yet-to-be-awakened voters to see something as unusual as two politicians run against each other only to cooperate because of how important it is for "good" to triumph.

Yes, I'll answer them. I've been incredibly busy this weekend--I'll be sure to answer them in the next day or two. Thanks!

Thank you!

I asked the following questions of your competition below.

I am originally from Ohio and live very close and speak frequently to friends and family back home.

What are your views on the following?

1.) Ending the Fed and lowering taxes.
2.) Arrest and detention of American citizens without warrant.
3.) Drone strikes without declaration of war
4.) A "no balanced budget-no pay" amendment.
5.) Build up of homeland security and NSA.

Please describe what you would do with these items.

Thank you for taking the time.

Here you go!

1. Ending the Fed and lowering taxes
The more I learn about the Fed, the more I realize how complicated and costly it would be to abruptly end it (ex. direct depositing). I'm still working to position myself more solidly with what I believe needs to be done, but I can tell you at this point, I'm in favor of moving away from the notion of the central bank--ending it smartly. Central control of anything is problematic for me--I've lived in a society where centralization/government control of as much as possible was the goal, and I can say that it only serves to exacerbate societal problems. As far as lowering taxes goes, I'm all for that--across the board. People know better what to do with their own money than bureaucrats do.
2. Arrest and detention of American citizens without warrant
This is not Constitutional, so I'm opposed to it. We need to remove the people in power who support and perpetuate this.
3. Drone strikes without the declaration of war
I'm opposed to this. I believe that using drones is a part of war, and we need to follow the procedures set in place with respect to the declaration of war before we use them.
4. A "no balanced budget-no pay" amendment
I'm all for a balanced budget amendment. I'm not sure if the "no pay" part is harsh enough, though. Many of the people in Congress wouldn't be affected by the "no pay" part, and I think there needs to be a strong enough measure that will provide them with enough incentive to balance the budget.
5. Build up of homeland security and NSA
We need to fight this--As far as homeland security goes, the administration is using this not as a measure of security but as a measure of control on the population--one in particular that isn't discussed in the general public is how this is serving as a backdoor means to controlling guns. By purchasing the ammo it is, the DHS is diminishing the supply--prices are increasing, and ammo is increasingly harder to get. Sure we can keep our guns, but what good are they if there's nothing for them to fire? With respect to the NSA, I would support Amash's amendment.

Thank you for responding to my email. No need to start a new thread, I would like you and Eric to answer questions in one thread.
J.D., please contact me by email (message me on my profile page), I would like to speak with you directly via phone call.

It's going well! I

It's going well! I anticipated around 15 months ago that there would be a perfect storm within our district that would provide us with the greatest opportunity to replace the Speaker. We've got a new county that hasn't yet been reached by him (and they're ticked their rep was pushed out in the redistricting process), there's an anti-Establishment narrative emerging, and the primary numbers leave a lot of room to recruit new voters--any new voter is a non-Boehner voter.

Before I declared, I traveled around the district to get my name out there. I've met with tea party/liberty leaders, town leaders, rotary, etc. I've also been able to give talks to these groups. I've helped to organize a defund-Obamacare rally in front of his office in Troy, and the Cincinnati Enquirer published a letter of mine and wrote an editorial on it. Since I've declared, I've hit the streets going door to door throughout the district. We've hit over 10,000 houses, and I can tell you that it's worse for Boehner than he realizes. People want him gone, and they're looking for someone who doesn't represent (or appear to represent) the Establishment in his stead. I've put in more work to help accelerate this narrative, and I've got a message (which I can expound upon later) that connects to people and will serve to put the wheels in motion for real change once I'm elected.

Do you know if Club for Growth, or any other

Organizations like them. Super PACs etc, are looking into getting involved in this race?

From my contact with various

From my contact with various PACs (before I declared), I was told numerous times that they wanted to invest time in races they could win. Several also told me that they didn't want to oppose Boehner since it might affect their other efforts. If that's how they view this race, that's how they view it. However, a no now doesn't mean a no later. It just means that they see no viable reason to get involved.

Understanding this, I've gotten out to highlight the narrative that exists within our district. It's Us vs. Them. Real, freedom-loving Americans who want to be left alone vs. Bureaucrats whose survival depends on invasiveness. Through our efforts, my team and I are connecting to people--more and more people are seeing that this is possible to pull off. We'll generate enough buzz --enough to where it'll be hard to overlook this district. At that point, I anticipate that the PACs and other groups will take a harder look at what we're doing.

A scientific poll might change their minds.

Every anti establishment person wants to see Boehner gone.

Now more than ever

We need to get behind Gurr.

Please get rid of Boehner I am so sick of his crap.

Here was the quote he released today when speaking of actual fiscal conservatives:
"Frankly, I just think that they've lost all credibility."

No Boehner YOU have lost all credibility and I can't wait until you are gone.
