You guys converted Glenn Beck!

You guys are winning. Ron Paul is winning. Let go of your resentment and your desire to be different and accept the fact that your ideas are being heard. You have changed a political movement. You are changing a political party. You were the last line of defense and you are now the first offense on behalf of liberty. Take the reins and join forces with others to help us rediscover our country.

You converted me two years ago. You converted Glenn Beck and he has a huge microphone. Listen to talk radio. All of them are beginning to sound like Ron Paul. Look at the Republican Party. The good guys are our guys. The bad guys have exposed themselves.

Glenn opened his show yesterday with the stirring Charlie Chaplin Great Dictator speech that some of you have used in Ron Paul advertising. Then he gave a powerful monologue that had me cheering in my car. First goose bumps from Chaplin, then a call to action to participate in the restoration of our country. I suppose I am old and sentimental but this made my day. Perhaps there is hope.

You guys are winning. Keep winning.

converted?

are you kidding? Beck is an obnoxious highly paid tool always looking for ratings. He basically turns my stomach.

I watched the latest show when RP was on talking about homeschooling - and only because it was RP. Beck can barely hide his contempt. If you don't believe me,watch it again.

He is just another msm bozo cashing in.

Ron Paul is My President

Wrong

His primary allegiance is and always will be money. He doesn't give a damn about the truth. Stop listening to this snakeoil salesman.

has he stopped calling for

has he stopped calling for enriching defense contra...ERRRR...wiping out ERRRR...fighting "islamofascism" yet?

Seriously, don't you guys remember when every GOP talk show host sounded like this back in the 1990s? Its just typical out-of-office posturing.

Ventura 2012

I see it, But what is it?

So does every TV talking head and radio commentator see it?; the truth that is. It does win out in the end you know. It takes some a lot longer to see it because it requires a shift or a change in their opinions that they spewed for a living for so long.
Which one of them will acknowledge Dr. Paul as the prophet he is, the leader that he is and the reason for this change in them?
In order for me to believe in them , trust them and spend a moment of my valuable time listening to them, they'll all need to apologize to Dr. Paul and me as a supporter of Dr. Paul's. I (we) saw years ago what they have finally come to realize. We lived thru and continue to live with the pot shots they take at Dr. Paul and his supporters.
To me it looks like they're just a weather vane pointing to a wind direction and hoping to ride the breeze to a pay day. Just know that the only information I get on any of them is second hand usually from a DP'er. They've soured me good and I won't be following them, spending any time or money on them.

But for those folks that follow them and somehow find us, I'll welcome to the r3volution. For those talking heads...no thanks at least not yet .
I say prove it. Stop referring to Dr. Paul during your interviews as someone they admire and agree with except for "something's" without mentioning the something's. Stop introducing him as a man that you agree with almost all or most of what he stands for and not cite the example of which position or policy you don't agree with. That irks me more than anything.
You know why they'll never get into a debate about their so called differences with Dr. Paul.. Because he( Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul) wins all his debates. So when the cheap shots stop, followed by an acknowledgement of their wrongs while giving the proper credit due.
Then and only then will I consider Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Savage, Rush and a whole host of the wind chancers as honorable. Let me retract honorable and replace with bearable.

no we have not

trust me on this one.

The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.

Levin was touting the Blaze TV

a couple of days ago, which would have been unheard of a few years ago. Not only is the marriage between libertarians and grass roots conservatives happening, but the talk radio personalities are working together. This is important.

I believe Beck and Levin were responsible for the second wave of the Tea Party Movement.

Our movement is now taking shape. The enemy ruling class has revealed himself. Either get in the game with us or continue to marginalize yourselves in an exclusive club.

Very Slowly ... Remove The Rose Colored Glasses...

Right now, even those that are being propped up as "Patriotic", are setting the people up for another fall.

How? Most of the Citizenry have never read what real freedom is; and they are using that ignorance to set you up.

"RAND" Paul, including such others as Matt Kibbe - Freedomworks, Huckabee, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and others, who are promoting a UNCONSTITUTIONAL "UN-ENUMERATED" FLAT NATIONAL SALES TAX - i.e. FLAT TAX or "FAIRTAX" that will "SHOE HORN" the federal governments control over the states and local communities; (See more on Taxes Below on our National Web Site).

Which is very foolish and IGNORANT.

RAND Paul is also trying to establish (and continue to empower) "Undelegated federal powers of "certain crimes" to unconstitutionally regulate the states and local communities;

SUCH AS - EXCHANGING the regulating power practiced with Roe VS Wade with yet another UN-DELEGATED FEDERAL power over the states;

"INSTEAD OF" simply "removing" the "unconstitutional Federal Power" that enforces Roe vs Wade, and replace it with "NOTHING"; and then let the local communities regulate it under the reserved Common Law rights;

FACT: The Federal Government is LIMITED to "DEFINING" OR "PROSECUTING" "ONLY FOUR" CRIMES in the Constitution Article 1 - Section 8; and in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS in the Kentucky Resolutions - Par.#2 http://www.americanpatriotparty.cc/candidates as well as in the Virginia Ratifying Convention 6-16-1788 - see Founder George Nicholas - http://www.americanpatriotparty.cc/americanpatriotpartynewsl...

Any other power arrogates a "unconstitutional" power;

By placing the issues where they belong - WITH THE STATES AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES - it would resolve many of the "just issues" Rand wishes to accomplish;

Simply continuing to give issues to a federal court; i.e. Giving to The federal government authority to decide, in areas where it has NO Constitutional authority, is "NOT THE WAY";

As this simply allows the federal government to arrogate or continue to arrogate undelegated powers under a "PRETENSE OF AUTHORITY".

I still listen to mainstream talk radio

And watch MSNBC, just to see what the establishment is up to. Speaking of winning, I'm hearing more and more talk of Austrian Economics (Levin, Wilcow, Church, etc.) which I consider a plus. I believe that economic freedom is tied to personal freedom, and that's a good gateway drug for those whose eyes have not yet opened.

Beck still strikes me as a shill; call me skeptical but optimistic. If there's money in it he'll tout liberty.

When I'm not listening to mainstream, it's LRN.fm.

He's a TV personality

nothing more. He could just as easily be doing vaudeville, a sit-com or a cooking show. He just happened to choose political commentary - cause it seems to put butts in seats (gets ratings) and makes him money. It's a living.

I have to say...

...this is one of the most enjoyable posts I've read in ages. Thank you OP. It's really REALLY nice to hear some optimism. I think we do become cynical; and we get so caught up in our internal fights, and we're so used to being the underdog, that we fail to notice the real SUCCESS we're having out there in the world.

Freedom 101 - Educate Yourself - Don't Buy Into the DECEPTION.

BRUTUS (Robert Yates):

"...History furnishes no example of a free republic, any thing like the extent of the United States. The Grecian republics were of small extent; so also was that of the Romans.

Both of these, it is true, in process of time, extended their conquests over "LARGE TERRITORIES OF COUNTRY";

(i.e. the removal of small, local, well represented boundaries that had allowed for adequate representation of local interests)

and the "CONSEQUENCE WAS", that their governments were "CHANGED"
FROM that of free governments (See James Madison on such CHANGE Below)

to those of the MOST "TYRANNICAL" that ever existed in the world."

The problem is that human nature will not allow man to unite globally and remove borders world wide, because power increases over distance and through collectivism;

(See APP Article on Web Site regarding "REPUBLICS AND REPRESENTATION": http://www.americanpatriotparty.cc/americanpatriotpartynewsl... and "DISTANT LEGISLATURES: http://www.americanpatriotparty.cc/Distant_Legislatures/dist...)

Such Collective Power and Resources, if not safely divided into "well represented" local republics, will Change Societies causing them to metastasize into dangerous Tyrannical Dictatorships, Monarchies or Communistic Societies ran by Dictators or Oppressive leaders who will tyrannically wield the collective power of the masses.

---

So Charlie Chaplin's speech is actually "contradictory";

That is why Glenn Beck uses such examples; Precisely because they are blurry and easy to "SPIN".

Uniting Nations into Larger Universal Collective Ideas, and the "Goodness" Chaplin espouses, do not and will not mix. This is a fact;

The "Deception" in Charlie Chaplin's speech is using "freedom" and "Goodness" to sell you from dictatorship and Monarchies... into Socialism or Communism (impossible utopian bliss);

...Not true freedom that can only be had by small well represented powerful Independent republics looking out for themselves and espousing those "Common Law" (i.e. Law of Nature) Principles of "Goodness".

Just another example of why Glenn Beck chooses to champion the writing of Thomas Paine and the book (not altogether...) "Common Sense", who though having some good quotes, is mush and vague (and easier to "SPIN") compared to Samuel Adams (Absolute Rights of the Colonists), James Madison (Virginia Resolutions 1798, Federalist #46 or Ratifying Convention 6-16-1788), Thomas Jefferson or Patrick Henry;

And Glen Beck will most likely never be heard touting insistently John Locke as he should be, in Locke's "Second Treatise on Civil Government" whom set down the principles which are the foundations of "The Absolute Rights of the Colonists", Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights; that the Founders drew from to write those documents 80 years later. (word for word in some instances)

Though Beck "name drops such "other" founders and those such as Locke if it presents a benefit to his "spin"; as it is done by many of the other talk show hosts; They all will avoid the defined rigidness these other founders offer, which defined a Republic under an "Original Compact" that CANNOT "CHANGE" (where changes can only occur "Within", but not beyond, the defined limited Delegated powers established in the "Original Constitutional Compact"); and Not a Democracy that allows for "spin" and neither incremental or radical changes outside those limits "originally" set for the framework of the free republican "SYSTEM" of united "INDEPENDENT" states.

Example:

One Nation under God?;

God's i.e. Judea / Christian "COMMON LAW" principles and Foundations - Yes. (obviously); See Virginia Ratifying Convention 6-16-1788 & John Locke regarding such "Common Law" principles as a inalienable Right;

But "One Nation"???

Listen to James Madison in the Virginia Resolution (reiterating the intent of independent states as was established by the Ratifying Conventions 10 years earlier:

James Madison: "....That the General Assembly doth also express its DEEP REGRET, that a spirit has in sundry instances, been manifested by the federal government, to "enlarge its powers" by "FORCED constructions" of the constitutional charter which defines them;

and that implications have appeared of a "design" to "EXPOUND" certain >>>"GENERAL "PHRASES" (which having been copied from the very limited grant of power, in the former articles of confederation were the less liable to be misconstrued)

so as to "destroy the meaning and effect", of the particular "ENUMERATION" which "NECESSARILY EXPLAINS" AND "LIMITS" THE "GENERAL PHRASES";

and so as to "consolidate the states by degrees",

into "ONE SOVEREIGNTY"

(APP: i.e. "ONE NATION" - i.e "NO WHERE INTENDED"),

the "obvious tendency" and "inevitable consequence" of which would be, to >>>"TRANSFORM" (i.e. CHANGE) the present "republican" "SYSTEM" (of SMALL STRONG INDEPENDENT STATES REPUBLICS) of the United States,

into "an absolute", or "at best" a mixed >>>"MONARCHY"." ...."

which if placed into actual practice, would, as James Madison Declared, CHANGE us "from" a "Republic"; "into" at best a "mixed" "MONARCHY";

So Much for the "ONE NATION" "MYTH"; Which was actually created by a Christian SOCIALIST around the 1880's and then later placed into the "Pledge of Allegiance" a "Nationalistic" Pledge around 1930's:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pledge_of_Allegiance

From Wikipedia: "...The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by Francis Bellamy (1855–1931), who was a Baptist minister, a Christian SOCIALIST,[3][4] and the cousin of socialist utopian novelist Edward Bellamy (1850–1898). The original "Pledge of Allegiance" was published in the September 8 issue of the popular children's magazine The Youth's Companion as part of the National Public-School Celebration of Columbus Day, a celebration of the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas. The event was conceived and promoted by James B. Upham, a marketer for the magazine, as a campaign to instill the idea of American "NATIONALISM" by selling flags to public schools and magazines to students.[5]..."

------

Obviously, Francis Bellamy didn't want what the Founders intended, which was simply a "LIMITED COMPACT" of Independent States.

And though said he wanted to instil the Love of the Constitution, was disingenuous or ignorant to the ORIGINAL INTENT the Founders worked years for and debated rigorously in the Ratifying Conventions to make sure Francis Bellamy's "definition" of "one nation" would "NEVER OCCUR".

I am glad

Glenn finally found the freedom movement, but lets just wait and see. I can picture him changing his mind and voting for some one other than Rand. Maybe... Cruz?? I am still on the fence with Cruz just like I am on the fence with Beck.

Beware of the Sith Lord

I'll play along for now and hope he's real, but beware of the Sith Lord. TPTB may have sent their new apprentice Darth Beck.

Alex Jones is calling Glen

Alex Jones is calling Glen Beck Rat poison?
Do you really trust Alex?
I dont put much stock in either tbh.
But atleast in the past few videos ive seen where Glen interviews people like Ron Paul, Penn Jillette, and Ray Kurzweil he presents himself in a respectable manner rather than Alex's continuous yelling rants, pointless mimicking and endless fear mongering.

Alex

Jonesnis rat poison, tasked with destroying the Liberty movement from within. Imho.

We ARE winning, as evidenced by the changes in Glenn Beck.

I believe Glenn Beck is generally sincere. He is imperfect (as are we all), but he is a good person trying to figure things out.

I have watched him for a long time. It has been painful to see him taking the wrong position on some things. But he has changed quite a bit and come more to the side of liberty all the time. People can and do change over time. I know I did, and still am. I shudder to think of how blind I was before hearing Ron Paul's simple, truthful message in 2008.

Please keep an open mind and consider this: If Glenn Beck is 80-90% on our side, and is reaching millions through radio, books, TV, and web,is it really smart to regard him the enemy??

But in the end...everything he has was given to him by those who oppose everything RP stands for.

Glenn beck is what they call in the industry, a "useful idiot". A tool. The merchant class uses him like a carpenter uses a lathe, or a hammer.

Crabs in a Bucket Syndrome

I don't give a rats @$$ what Glenn Beck personally thinks. Like everyone else on the DP, I believe he's entitled to his opinion, right or wrong. However, unlike anyone on the DP, Glenn Beck has an audience of millions.

I care that he gave Ron Paul access to a friendly or at least somewhat friendly audience of millions of people who got a chance to hear the refreshing breezes of truth and honesty from an exemplary spokesman for the Liberty movement.

MASSIVE WIN, any way you slice it.

If posters on the DP spent half as much time tearing down the full-bore authoritarians, Marxists, socialists, as they do tearing down the "not libertarian enough" people who are 75% on our side, we might actually get somewhere.

I have kept tabs on Beck

I have kept tabs on Beck since he first hit the national scene. I have NEVER seen any National celebrity individual self-educate and turn against the neo-cons the way he has. If he backs another Comney or Mccain in 2016 then I know he's a fraud. Beck supported Comney in 2012 because Comney is Mormon. (I know, no excuse) I have a good nose for character and I'm telling you Beck seems to be the real deal. A Libertarian. If Beck shows any signs of supporting another Big Gov Conservative, I swear, I will be the first to tackle and take his Collectivist Ass down!!!!!

Try Ernest Hancock's show

Try Ernest Hancock's show 'Declare Your Independence' or even Free Talk Live (which I no longer listen to) and compare/contrast with Beck. He has a long way to go to convince me he's changed.

Beck is a survivor, like a cockroach, and is just changing with the way the wind is blowing.

...

I wish someone would convert him into a banana. That way his supporters would want to eat him.

All rights reserved and no rights waived.

Does Beck's set still have a big Lincoln portrait on its wall?

If so, that's a sure sign that he still doesn't get it.

If you want to know if Beck

If you want to know if Beck has truly converted, all you have to do is see who he is promoting prior to the 2014 election. He does this every 2 years. I will not be convinced until he supports true Liberty candidates and trashes people like Rubio and Darryl Issa. I am not holding my breath.

Pathetic

I'm so tired of Glenn Beck, Rand Paul and the rest of these Paulite Bildebergers.

Show me just one time when Glenn Beck and his Illuminati friends Penn Jillette and Vince Vaughn (who has a weekly show on his network) spoke positively about liberty and I'll show you a man who caused 9/11.

P.S. As further proof, consider the fact that Glenn Beck thinks that rights come from God and not government. That's exactly why he caused 9/11. 9/11.

If you think the Illumati

If you think the Illumati exist then okay, you can do that. Theres alot of lies and conspiracies so who knows.
But you have to be pretty stupid to think Penn Jillette is part of it.

You obviosuly have no idea what your talking about when you say show me proof they believe in liberty. Penn promotes it in nearly everything he does, from bits in his magic show, to nearly every tv interview he does, to the 500+ hours of radio and podcasts hes done, all of which ive listened to over the past decade. You clearly are talking out of your ass.

I found these in 1 minute by going to youtube and typing in Penn Jillette Liberty just to show you how ignorant you are. Its not even a sliver of the material hes presented within the many decades of his time in the limelight. And yes, obviously im a huge fan of his so when I read your comments im going to correct your false statements.
