BenSwann.com: Is The Virginia Gov. Libertarian Candidate (Robert Sarvis) Even A Libertarian?

"Sarvis’ campaign website does offer a lot for those with a libertarian flavor. However, his recent comments during interviews seem to muddy the waters as to just how libertarian Sarvis is had there been a litmus test."

Pro-abortion, pro-Sodomite

Pro-abortion, pro-Sodomite marriage (forcing the issue, not just removing state control), and probably pro-amnesty... I wouldn't vote for him. And apparently Ron Paul wouldn't either.

Ditto

That dude is bad news

I saw Sarvis

I saw Sarvis yesterday at a candidate forum with both McAuliffe and Cuchinelli at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond. Was he Murray Rothbard? No. But compared to the other two you had no doubt who the voice of Liberty in the room was. In fact, despite Cuchinelli' protests that he was the best candidate for Liberty (unless you are a woman, or gay or a non christian) when he said it in his final statement the room burst out laughing.

Despite Ron's endorsement of this bible thumper don't be fooled into thinking Cooch is something he is not. If Ron wants to make a deal with the Fundies for Rands benefit, so be it. But for me Sarvis is clearly superior despite any alleged "deviationalism".

Thanks a bunch! :) Your last two sentences nailed it.

Bump

Big bump for benswann.com

He's not ready...

for the next level and I think he may actually be playing the spoiler part purposely. He comes out of nowhere espousing 'Libertarian" ideas but when you look into it further and you hear him talk it appears that there isn't much THERE there. I have a sneaky suspicion that this is a set-up to assist McAullife. If McAuliffe wins the Virginia Governorship then the road to The White House gets much easier for Hillary Clinton.

agree

will be hard to win VA with McAuliffe as Gov., NeoCons pushing Sarvis is an eye opener.

sarvis is a globalist open borders

vote sucker.

The supreme NeoCon of all, Jennifer Rubin endorsed Sarvis

Don't take the bait the neocons would rather have McAuliffe than Cuccinelli by a country mile. Ron Paul endorsed Cuccinelli for a reason.

It's literally a toss up now as Cuccinelli has screamed forward in the polls, crushing McAuliffe in the last debate.

libertarians support open borders

Free movement of peoples across borders is the very embodiment of freedom.

Here is my interview with Rob

Here is my interview with Rob Sarvis. I will say he is no Ron Paul, but at least he is talking about abolishing the state income tax and regulatory agencies in Virginia.

Thank you

another reason why I am not voting for him.

Bad Article

Yes, he is a libertarian...and probably the best one we've had in a long time.

The libertarian party is terrible

They always put horrible candidates up for election, with the exception of a few like Ron Paul.
