** 'Cause you know, now that it's been revealed that the former member of the Communist Party, and now Head of Germany, has been illegally spied on by Barry Soetoro 'I know nozing! I know nozing!' Hussein oBUSHma, never mind that the 'peon' Germans have long been spied upon, be that as it may, break out the popcorn; the Theater of the 'High Stakes' Geopolitics just got a wee bit more interesting!

And, check out Daniel McAdams, the head of Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity and World Bank whistleblower Karen Hudes speak on illegal NSA spying & the global cyber policestate:

With the US global surveillance program under scrutiny, what are the possible diplomatic and economic repercussions? Is France and Germany's anger justified or is it being blown out of proportion? Why would the US spy on its allies? And is the US Department of Defense lying about economic espionage? CrossTalking with Karen Hudes and Daniel McAdams.

Scandal

I don't know I anyone has been keeping up with the TV show Scandal, but it interestingly compares to much of what we're herring today. I'm over TV, but my wife isn't, and I couldn't help but overhear some of the dialogue. It drew me into watching it with her because it provided me opportunity to point out reality to her on things like the Patriot Act and NDAA that allowed some of the things that take place on that show. It's an interesting view on how things might happen behind the scenes in government without the presidents knowledge. I think it's another show attempting to normalize the atrocities taking place in our real system, but none the less, great way to wake up the sleepers.

Now that I am awake

And I hear comments like "we are keeping you safe", I see it as more of a threat. It's like the mafia sending thugs to you store after the sent someone to burglarize it, and tell you they will keep you safe for a price.

Get back to basics

Numerous times I've thought the Agency should seek military targets, providing battle advantage, a DOD function, as dictated by carrying out the guidance of the President and the DOD. But it seems that this guidance is in need of a lawful foundation itself. This exploded onto the public domain because of whistle-blowing revelations. Congress, the providers of fundamental policy, with a 500+ membership who represent voters, only they are this guiding force for administrators. All 500+ people elected to congress need to know what's happening and then follow the dictates their voters in formulating the lawful boundaries. Policy, subsequent guidance, and actions taken therefrom lack oversight, or closure. A closed system that should result in action from guidance based on policy does not now function well. The knowledge of what's happening is lacking in Congress, as evident by the surprise of procedures now exposed. That part of the loop needs closing. The oversight necessary for policy generation, law making, is not there, surely not when restricted to only a dozen or so members of a 500 member body responsible to do so. Reestablish this oversight as the purview of the entire Congressional Body. That would be the start of total system repair.

Freedom Act, eh?

By 'limiting' what they can do, you are also authorizing their existence and practices. Shut the NSA down.

EDIT: Besides, all that tax payer money and effort and only 288 cases that can be investigated? What a waste!

.....everyone else is doing it too.....

....doesn't make it right...

A man who blew the whistle on the NSA

many years before Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden, Thomas Drake, is another hero. Take a look at the documentary entitled, "War on Whistle Blowers."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gl5Z9HgwyT8

"Drake hoped that the new Obama administration – one that had touted the importance of federal whistleblowers during the 2008 campaign – would reverse direction and cease the use of the criminal justice system to go after whistleblowers. However, after Drake lived under the cloud of possible prosecution for two and a half years after the FBI raided his home, the DOJ finally indicted him in April 2010.

Drake was charged under 10 separate counts, 5 of which were charges brought under the Espionage Act – a 1917 piece of legislation intended to be used against spies."

Edward, Do NOT go to Germany!

I do not know how sincere the offer is...and it has yet to be made officially.

But even assuming it is a sincere offer, the CIA can get to him fairly easily in Germany, kill or kidnap him, and there wouldn't be much Germany could do.

OTOH, he's hard to reach in Russia. And even if they could reach him, the CIA would have to be VERY bold to kill someone on Russian soil.

Stay safe Ed, and trust no one. If German lawmakers want to interview you, let them come to Moscow and do it there.

This could be a sign that Germany will ally herself with the BRICS nations, whic usher in the death kneel of the EU and the IMF banking system.

Nice!

I was very impressed with the RT interview with Karen and Daniel.

Karen's point about MSM and global elitists is probably the long and the short of it.

Stay safe folks.

What the MSM conveniently leaves out

Both Clapper and Alexander are proven liars in their past testimonies to Congress.
