What To Ask Obamacare Supporters!

What if a law were passed which required every adult to purchase a gun, bullets and training to protect themselves? What if this law were passed entirely by a Republican controlled Senate and Republican President, without a single Democratic vote? What if these Republicans not only forced you to do this, but they said it was for yours and the public's safety?

The argument might be; How many cops die every year because individuals won't protect their own life with a gun? Why should a cop die because you won't protect yourself with a gun? So we should make it mandatory, and if you don't like it then just pay a fine, which increases every year so as to discourage law breakers. Every American must own and know how to use a gun, or else.

THE QUESTION IS

Would you want your Senator or Congressman to fight like hell to overturn such a violation of your liberty? Would you want your Senator or Congressman to "FIX IT"?

HELL NO.

You'd want them to REPEAL IT because it's wrong. The bottom line is it would be a violation of your liberty for government to force you to buy a gun, just as it would be a violation of your liberty to force you to buy health insurance.

SAME PRINCIPLE, DIFFERENT PRODUCT.

You say you want socialized healthcare...

Yet you support Obamacare which just forces people to buy health insurance from large corporations at inflated rates, why is that?

That will put them on there ass

Is your IQ high enough to

Is your IQ high enough to understand why the price of hospital procedures are so high?

I thought not.

No. Do Not Make Ad Hominem Attacks.

Don't insult the people you're asking - that kind of childishness just puts you at their level.

Simply ask questions, but be supportive when they can't answer them - ask, "would you like to hear why I think Freedom is Better? " or something non-threatening like that.

About the only edge we have here is emotional maturity; please don't squander that.

Middlemen Make Hospital Costs High

Hospital procedure costs are high because insurance has taken over the healthcare industry. I know this first hand. Back in the 1950s & 1960s most people paid for their own healthcare. Then insurance & medicare came along, making it much more expensive. Every middleman has to take his cut. Insurance companies, Medicare & Obamacare are middlemen making hospital procedures so high.

I have never carried medical insurance. I had heart surgery in 2007. The hospital said the bill was $298,000. I told them I couldn't pay it as I had no insurance. In a 2 minute conversation they offered to cut the bill to $37,000 and I paid it. Who would have paid that $261,000 difference? An insurance company, after being paid years & years of premiums? I'll pass on that.

The root cause

The root cause of the problem is the income tax. Companies couldn't offer good employees raises, because that would put them in a "higher tax bracket," so the employers offered benefits, like a piece of a group health plan, that weren't taxable. Over the generations, people came to expect it.

But even that could have been done better. What doctors and hospitals should do is bill the customerpatient directly, and let HER go get the funds from the insurance company!

It seems to work for car insurance.

Other arguments

1) Is the moral not lost when knowing that violating someone's agency or threatening the innocent with injury is wrong, yet an individual still wants to do so when enforcing mandated insurance?

2) How is it 'progressive' to predicate policy on the negative consciousness of people, rather than the divine gift of free will to choose benevolence for public health?

3) If the rights of minorities should be protected, is the smallest 'group' not represented in the conscientious individual who should similarly be free from unprincipled imposition like insurance mandates?

Nice argument.

The only flaw, and its a small flaw, is that Scott Brown from The State of Massachusetts, who was elected to be the Republican's 41st vote against the ACA, turned out to be the Democrat's 60th vote which passed the ACA.

How any one can possibly think that consenting to this illegitimate de facto political system by voting for these hypocritical thuggish criminals is going to change anything is staggering to my imagination.

The way I see it, if folks just stopped participating, this "Federal" government would loose the veil of legitimacy it uses to justify its fascist Marxist, empiric actions and policies, and the relevance of all polititions would disapear as well.

The political system and the people who opperate it need your participation to legitimize it and their actions. But the dirty little secret is that you don't need it or them.

Well, hurry up, guys...

Wait, wait! Obamacare supporters?

Well, hurry up poking at them... Me thinks their number is shrinking... er... pretty fast.

If you can still find some, don't forget to take pictures, anyway! Ya know... to immortalize the thing, to date!

They'd be shooting

everyone who doesn't recycle, drive a prius, or have an abortion "for the planet"

They are crazy, violent people.

But yeah, good argument, just don't REALLY give them a gun.

Whoa! That actually doesn't

Whoa! That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea, if you know what I mean.

For whatever its worth, the number of Obamacare supporters is

dwindling fast! The Democrats are crapping in their panties about their prospect for the 2014 elections.

The unquestionable issue for the 2014 elections is Obamacare!

But, but...... who would

But, but...... who would build the roads?

But seriously they would say, if you get sick without insurance society winds up paying your bill. So you should add a line that claims if you are unarmed and get attacked, society .......

If you get sick

1. The majority of people aren't that irresponsible - most adults actually grow up.

2. Get the damned government out of the charity business. If you REALLY need help, and have no family, friends, or church affiliation, you could turn to the Red Cross or Salvation Army or any number of private charities.

3. Or you could do your OWN damn health care at no cost to anyone! Eat right, get enough rest, don't do stupid stuff trying for a Darwin Award, that sort of thing. There is no such thing as an accident. Other than equipment failures, every human mishap is caused by negligence. If you want to never ever have an accident, just be sure that whatever you do, you do it on purpose.
