Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:13 states this, what could be a greater love than that?

Good, you lay down your life for others.

I, for one, will preserve my own life and those of my family.

Which of us is the evolutionary dead end? Self abnegation may sound lofty, but really is a crock without a future.

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.

It's about his life not mine.

You only look to save your likes in this life as most do. Jesus gave his life to save all including the ones taking his life.

Luke 23:34
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

It's about what he did, not what we can physically do.

THE CLASS OF CITIZENS WHO PROVIDE AT ONCE THEIR OWN FOOD AND THEIR OWN RAIMENT, MAY BE VIEWED AS THE MOST TRULY INDEPENDENT AND HAPPY.
