What are the most hated things that you've said here at the Daily Paul?

Have you ever said something on this site that seemed to tick a lot of people off? Lots of downvotes, nasty responses, etc.?

Now that it's been a while and you've had a chance to reflect, do you still stand by what you said back then?

I'm interested in documenting the things that seem to make other's blood boil on the Daily Paul. By cataloging highly downvoted statements, it may help us understand how the community generally feels on certain topics.

I will include my list as a comment.

"Generally speaking, genocide

"Generally speaking, genocide does not necessarily mean the immediate destruction of a nation,
except when accomplished by mass killings of all members of a nation.
It is intended rather to signify a coordinated plan of different actions aiming at the destruction of essential foundations of the life of national groups, with the aim of annihilating the groups themselves.
The objectives of such a plan would be disintegration of the political and social institutions, of culture, language, national feelings, religion, and the economic existence of national groups, and the destruction of the personal security, liberty, health, dignity, and even the lives of the individuals belonging to such groups.
Genocide is directed against the national group as an entity, and the actions involved are directed against individuals, not in their individual capacity, but as members of the national group."
"Genocide has two phases: one, destruction of the national pattern of the oppressed group; the other, the imposition of the national pattern of the oppressor. This imposition, in turn, may be made upon the oppressed population which is allowed to remain or upon the territory alone, after removal of the population and the colonization by the oppressor's own nationals."
-Raphael Lemkin, "Axis Rule in Occupied Europe",(Washington, D.C.: Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, 1944)

What is happening to my nation?

Power structure of oppression

Bombing Syria

I got snubbed when i commented about a religious comments about Syria when the US almost bombed them. I just didn't what a to hear religious differences then. I haven't commented since till now.

Is Ron Paul a Socialist Pro-Union Sympathizer?

Well - is he?!?

Don't feed the pandas. Ever.

Downvoted

... for wasting precious time. Recall a judge... recall a gun grabber... reject a proposed tax increase :)

do something productive

i hate ignorant folks

still hate ignorant folks!

I've pissed a few people off defending genetic engineering

And defending vaccines and a host of other molecular biology/genetics/medicine topics.

I've gone through old discussions occasionally and it is rare that I don't still agree completely with my points.

I haven't commented in awhile because I was engaged in a long discussion on a thread on another blog which was about me pissing off people on the Daily Paul. I pissed some people off there, too.

Oh, you could piss me off with one too!

the Human mind is an electro-chemical soup.

the human body is a mixture of hydraulics and heating and cooling systems.
waste processing is probably the most overlooked area....

if I stated, that there are no muscles that push, only muscles that pull...

would you argue with me about any of the above?

defending the indefensible

You suck. please get a flu shot you fucking idiot

Barred for Bars

I think the most down voters I ever received was when I admitted to eating my Ron Paul Chocolate Bars. Seriously!
LOL

Hey Archons', we are taking our planet back and there's nothing you can do about it!

For most opinions are like asshole's

Everyone has one.

I got spanked with 71 down

I got spanked with 71 down votes for changing my mind over Ron Paul's foreign policy positions.

http://www.dailypaul.com/259006/ron-pauls-foreign-policy-is-...

Yes, I still stand by my words. I thank Ron Paul for helping me challenge myself by asking very serious questions and coming to my own individual conclusions.

I wonder...

What is the single most down voted post in the history of the Daily Paul that did not get banned? People who post crap like, "Rand is a Reptoid Alien from Sirius," get banned and should not count.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

I do attempt to 'be at peace with all' here...

without compromising convictions. I will say, however, attempting to balance the strong positions many take against Israel's right to exist often gains me a few downvotes.

Just a mention of George Zimmerman or Trayvon Martin

will likely get one down-voted one way or the other; hasn't happened in my posts but is just something I noticed.

Abortion seems to be another controversial topic here.

Oh, and crisis actors. If I recall correctly, talk of that got someone banned around the time after the Boston bombing false flag.

My threads don't get down-voted too much, but my posts on subjects which I feel are important or could prompt much discussion are sometimes ignored.

well, come on now,

the crisis actors thing, one pretty much has to be an escapee from a mental institution to buy into that.

I piss everyone off equally.

and pretty much everything I say gets ignored.
but that is OK with me. I get the same response when talking with my customers.
my customers remain loyal and I have never been called a troll, a shill or been banned....yet.

hey, I kinda like you

especially when you put BILL3 in his place (even though I like BILL3 too, all three of them)

BILL3 is OK.

he just likes to go off on "airy-fairy" feel good rants.

I am not here, and I do not like to put ...some members in their place. but is not obfuscation a tactic?

I owe a debt of gratitude to the members of the DP. early in 07 and 08... man did I learn some important stuff here.

please alert me if you think that I am...rude to a real sincere person.

peace. and btw, this IS my very first revolution!

Maybe I did, maybe I didn't.

Who knows... but I was given the shoulder when I first called out cruz.

It's no big deal, I just chug along.

And also that Republic of Texas TV dude. I think his name is hoss, lol.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I made a post calling Mitt Romney a servant of Satan.

I used scriptures from the Doctine and Covenants, which Romney claims to believe is revelation from God, as proof to back up my assertion. People thought it was wrong to use religion to attack Romney. Considering that I'm also Mormon, I thought it was a fair criticism, and stand by what I said.

Never said anything hateful ...

and everybody here loves me.

God Bless.

I feel very, very strongly, and stand by my gut feeling,

that Glenn Greenwald is a manipulative, hate filled, shill for communism, and is helping herd the citizens of the US towards UN dictatorship.
That sure gets ronpaulwins shouting on his caps locks!

That Dr. Paul was an agent of the Bishop and took us for a ride

That Dr. Paul was an agent of Bishop Willard Romney and took us all for a ride. Myself especially, since I donated a total of $300 to his campaign, even after I started getting suspicious at the endless ads having nothing to do with Ron Paul himself but rather attacking all other candidates EXCEPT Bishop Willard.

That repeated assertion brought my reception index to the floor, I can tell you. And yes, I still stand by it until I hear otherwise from those inside the campaign.

PS, And no downvoting any responses on this thread. That would make this thread a trap for the honest people on this forum.

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

the romney thing

I was disappointed in it too but don't go so far as to say he was an agent. They definitely had some kind of understanding, whatever it was. At least he never came out endorsing Romney. I think there was some pressure applied to get him to leave the race, but we won't know for years what really happened. Tom Woods alluded to it in one video. I too was disappointed after forking out bucks for a fundraising dinner only to hear shortly thereafter that he was "not actively campaigning" or however it is that he put it.

I said

that things which don't exist don't exist.

Can you be more specific?

I want this to be a learning experience and not just another chance to bring up old gripes.

I know you have been critical of the sovereign citizens movement. Is this what you are referring to?

Yes

that is what i was referring to, the idea that certain legal concepts are valid when they aren't.

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."-- Albert Einstein

I've debated along the same

I've debated along the same lines as you with these people. The thing I can't figure out is, are they dupes or is it an intentional distraction to give libertarians false hopes of beating the system?

a lot of them are dupes

and I suspect harmless dupes as when it comes down to it, they don't drive without a license and don't do fraudulent paperwork and the other things that can harm them or others.

For them it is a hobby like other conspiracy stuff is a hobby.

A couple of them are perhaps scammers and especially if they are really touting one guru or one website as having the elusive solution to all. I liked the one which linked to the sovereign warriors site, and when I commented that the girl in the videos actually said she had no idea whether their techniques worked but was gonna try them out because she lived in Mexico where she couldn't be sued, one of them posted here asking who I was referring to. I go back to their site and none of her videos were listed. Of course a couple of weeks later, there they are again.

There's a whole group of youtubers who are trying to do whatever they can to not have to get a real job. Some of them dabble in this kind of nonsense which only serves to spread the disinfo.
