Don't support the dirty trickster

I advise those who support Liberty to not fund those whose oppose.
Above links to a Stone dirty trick against a Liberty candidate in 2010.

Dirty tricks was how it was done

Dirty tricks was how it was done in the era, and Stone was far from the most notorious and/or successful Dirty Trickster.

That title clearly goes to his opposite number on the Democrat side (and main opponent during the Nixon campaigns): Dick Tuck.

I don't approve of it at all. And I'm glad that Ron gave us his shining proof-of-concept - that a successful political career (at least below the presidential level) can be built on honesty, statesmanship, and a clear understanding and explanation of the issues. But we need to understand how effective these attention-grabbing stunts are and how they're done - if only to be able to spot them and head them off.

If only Dr Paul had hired

If only Dr Paul had hired Roger Stone instead of Jesse not in it to win it Benson!

Stone

Look how well Stone turned out for Gary Johnson. Stone is not a libertarian. He's a libertine.

You can guarantee that I won't support any candidate that hires that dirty trickster.

don't know...

While Roger knows his shiit, he's dirty as fcuk, for all who are familiar with his Nixon days. Plus, he only 'came out' with his 'libertarian-catharsis' around the same time that Dr. Paul's campaign hit a crescendo: Roger Stone, Former Nixon Hit Man, Now a Libertarian

But no doubt, he got connections, and is politically savvy and knows how to grease the wheel: a perfect guy for a political candidate with no principles whatsoever.

It's like if one were to rob a bank, to whom would one seek out? A guy who's already done it before, and gotten away with it! LOL.

Though, suppose one could argue, given the choice between an incompetent buffoon who married into the family, or a total 100% mercenary who can get shiit done? I'd pick the latter, but I'm not Dr. Paul .o)

There is one good thing about TRUE political mercenaries: they're predictably untrustworthy (which, in point of fact, ironically: kinda makes them trustworthy, however narrow that spectrum maybe); they are driven solely by one motive: profit. Not, so much by ideology or philosophy. Though, suppose one can, equally argue that even a mercenary modus operandi IS a 'belief system' of sorts, but y'all get the gist. lol.

That said, I still would like to think that I still have a pretty solid moral compass, so wouldn't go with a dude like Stone, either way, even if given the option. LOL.

Anyway, here are a few more interesting tidbits from Bob Wenzel & Lew Rockwell's sites:

Roger Stone's JFK Assassination Book Is Out

Monday, November 4, 2013

There are a bunch of new JFK assassination books out for the 50th anniversary of the killing. But it is the new book Roger Stone book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ (released today) that I have been waiting for.

Among other things

• Stone ties LBJ to at least seven politically motivated murders prior to the murder of John F. Kennedy. Stone: “LBJ would order up a murder just as you or I would order a ham sandwich.”

• Stone tells about the early murders of LBJ: the 1951 Doug Kinser murder, the 1952 Sam Smithwick prison murder; the 1961 murder of US agricultural official Henry Marshall and numerous other other LBJ-murders relating to the cover up of the epic corruption in the Billie Sol Estes scandal in the early 1960’s.
