CNN exit polls on VA governor race

Don't blame McDonnell

If Cuccinelli loses, he can't blame his defeat on scandal-plagued outgoing GOP Gov. Bob McDonnell or third-party Libertarian candidate Robert Sarvis. Virginia voters actually approve of McDonnell's job performance by 12 points (53%-41%). And if Sarvis had not been in the race, exit polls indicate McAuliffe would have beaten Cuccinelli by 7 points (50%-43%).

Look at how well Sarvis did with young voters. Isn't this generally encouraging? VA demographics are changing in favor of blue due to the massive growth of govt workers in NorVa, but if the GOP would have fielded a more libertarian candidate, at at least one less perceived to be a theocrat, he might have overcome the demographics.

I dare you to look at the exit polls and use the facts gathered there to give us your theory as to why why Cooch lost in VA.
