EPJ: Very Bad News for the Ron Paul 2012 Campaign

Apparently bad news will be breaking soon about regarding 2012 campaign donations and "Ron Paul Inc" (as Bob Wenzel calls it). He says to make sure we separate Ron Paul from "Ron Paul Inc". Considering I donated a good chunk of money to that campaign, I'm already not too happy. Part of Ron's job was to hire people who were trustworthy so I am going to count this as a strike against the good doctor. Though I'm still extremely grateful to him, regardless.

I have to say, though, I'm already starting to wonder how much I should donate to Rand in 2016. I was seriously thinking about giving the max donation (assuming I was in good enough financial position to do so) but now I want to read what happened in Ron's campaign.

Ron Paul got my first ever political donations... total of $500 which was a lot for me but you know what.. the WAKE UP CALL WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY~ RON PAUL! RON PAUL! RON PAUL!

I bet the story will be

Paul paid some people close to him very well. And then in turn those people hired a bunch of their friends at very generous rates.

They spent what, tens of millions of dollars right?

If the goal is to spread the message of liberty.

The Channel and Home school curriculum might make better gifts or keepsakes.

Paying for media ads not very effective way to spread the message.

I have questions about sending donations to political operatives, also.

Free includes debt-free!

I fail to see the scandal

Since you take to heart the

Since you take to heart the words of Robert Wenzel; may I ask, what else do you like about Robert Wenzel? Why should I trust or even take heed to what Wenzel publishes?

You certainly don't have to

There are things I like about him but also things I dislike. In any case, I was just mentioning what he wrote.

Then you should know by now

Then you should know by now that the "Robert Wenzel" has never been a fan of Rand Paul.

I do know that but...

...what does that have to do w/ Ron Paul's 2012 campaign?

Well, you said this: "I have

Well, you said this: "I have to say, though, I'm already starting to wonder how much I should donate to Rand in 2016. I was seriously thinking about giving the max donation (assuming I was in good enough financial position to do so) but now I want to read what happened in Ron's campaign."

So I was just saying. Robert Wenzel is no fan of Rand Paul.

Ah ok

My point was that if I couldn't even trust Ron to hire trustworthy people then I'm going to have to reconsider how much I can ever trust donating to any candidate. I'm sure I will still donate to Rand 2016 though.

Also, what is your opinion on

Also, what is your opinion on the "hiring" of Kent Whats-his-face? When he switched from Bachmann to Paul was that a positive or negative gain for our agenda?

omg how many times is Robert

omg how many times is Robert Wenzel going to post this article. Robert Wenzel and Gary Franchi have been pushing this dead-end story for over a year now. There's still nothing new to this story. I don't even care how much Kent WHatever-his-name got paid. Whoever keeps pushing this story is only trying to harm Ron Paul and the Ron Paul Revolution agenda. Like one of the comments said on the epj page, "Interesting timing after the Cuccinelli endorsement and all."

EPJ makes the distinction between Ron Paul & "Ron Paul Inc."

As more news comes out, that distinction becomes increasingly blurry.
