I've seen it, I know I have - Draft of Patriot Act dated before 9-11-01

WI congressman and author of the Patriot Act Sensenbrenner is out boohooing the monster he created. Now I've looked deep before and I know I saw it. I'm almost positive it was a .gov site like http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d107:H.R.3162: showing the history of bills including the drafts and committee votes before being submitted to the House. I know it was dated before 9-11-01 on some of the drafts - but I can't find it anywhere.

Any help on this? Is that a feature somewhere I can access? Was this feature scrubbed since I last saw it?

They were trying to get the

They were trying to get the Patriot Act passed for quite some time prior to 9/11. 9/11 just happened to be the crisis which finally enabled them to push it through. The timing was so bad (actually great for those behind the law) that members of Congress were only given 15 minutes to read a summary of the law before the vote - and they actually passed it that time without even reading the text of the Bill.

When the 'Patriot Act' was

When the 'Patriot Act' was first introduced into the Senate it was called the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995. It was introduced in the Senate by Joe Biden and was introduced in the House of Representatives by Chuck Shumer.

It was created by the RAND Corporation around 1991, and they tried to have it introduced in 1993 with the WTC bombing but they couldn't get any sponsor to introduce it into congress. It was then introduced in 1995 and was failing and then the OK City bombing happened and the American people were almost stuck with it back then; however, enough people voted against it.

If you want to know where most of our laws are written and by whom, then I suggest that you do a search on The RAND Corporation.

Here is an interesting book on the subject Soldiers of Reason

Here is a list of other books which might give you insight into the RAND Corporation.

The 666 Act ?

Carl Miller referred to the 666 Act in a 1995-1997 video.

The same piece of legislation

Ron Paul refused to sign because h didn't get to read it first.

Remember when he admonished a fellow House member to do their job - meaning they weren't doing their job by signing legislature they had not read.

Hindsight at this point is laughable.

I don't think that's ever been disputed.

The question really is, what are we going to do about these criminals?

The Patriot Act was planned before 9/11.

Go to 1:10 in.

The Patriot Act was planned before 9/11. Indeed, former Counter Terrorism Czar Richard Clarke told Stanford law professor Lawrence Lessig:

After 9/11 the government drew up the Patriot Act within 20 days and it was passed.

The Patriot Act is huge and I remember someone asking a Justice Department official how did they write such a large statute so quickly, and of course the answer was that it has been sitting in the drawers of the Justice Department for the last 20 years waiting for the event where they would pull it out.

Never heard of the iPatriot Act...

Thanks for this video, Steve! I don't believe the I-version will be forced on us because of Wikileaks or Snowden, etc...As history show, the PTB will use a more shock-and-awe event to jam this thing up our butts...something like a "cyber-terrorist attack" on our power grid that will shut down a major city for a week or two...ushering in riots, looting, mayhem...and then the Martial Law. All those poor folks in hospitals will die with no electrical power (the outage needs to last long enough for the emergency gensets to run out of fuel) and the outrage of the American Idiots will "force" Congress to pass a law to protect us! LOL. It sounds like a Tom Clancy novel, doesn't it?

You're welcome. Yup, the iPatriot Act is next.

Think: Problem, Reaction, Solution with these totalitarians. They've been beta-testing their ego-maniac strategy here and there when the opportunity presents itself or when they proactively produce that opportunity as in staged events. The E.O. for martial law is ready to go as is the iPatriot Act for shutting-down the net, IMO. They will have 7,500 drones flying over the U.S. within five years, just published yesterday. It's like a chess match. They are positioning their pieces while they are trying to prevent us from moving ours. The speed of the "sheeple wake-up factor" is the potential big-game-changer that hopefully Obamacare will assist in accomplishing. If bank account balances are taken as in Cyprus, then that could also wake-up some people, too. We'll see.

thankyou I like these

I like these historical insights, makes me wonder how much historical videos are out there showing the nature of US governments history........

Until redacted by W. Smith, this history is still out there.

This kind of tyranny didn't just happen now as you say. These NWO cave dwellers have been around for decades. They need to be returned to their darkness. You are welcome, gomez.
