Tea Party?

Justin Amash is far above the tea party!

NOSHEEPLE

I don't think Rush knows

I don't think Rush knows Amash is a RP clone.

If Justin Amash doesn't come

If Justin Amash doesn't come out in favor of more Middle Eastern wars Rush Limbaugh will dump him just like he did with Ron Paul.

The Neo-con establishment

The Neo-con establishment hasn't learned their lesson with what we did to Romney. They better learn soon before it's too late.

Mark Levin also spoke favorably

of Justin recently and against the crony capitalist Republicans trying to remove him from office.

Rush is a huge supporter of the Tea Party

so he'll defend any 'Tea Party' politician/candidate.
This is where I think we should make our alliance. There is little difference between Liberty Movement and grassroots Tea Party ideology. A quick search revealed these core Tea Party beliefs: eliminate excessive taxes, eliminate nat'l debt, protect free markets, abide by the Constitution, promote civic responsibility, reduce overall size of govt, maintain local independence.
I would think that everyone here agrees with these things. We can nitpick the other stuff, but, as Ron Paul says, we need to make alliances, and having alliances with true, grassroots TP organizations, would make a huge difference for our country, especially when it comes to the 2014 elections. I know there are some very stubborn people here who think a candidate must have an 'L' after his/her name in order to be viable, but that is just 'insane' when we know good people are willing to and have run under the 'R' banner.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
James Madison

You guys won't like this

... but Rush is not as bad one might think. The media hates his guts, which speaks well of him. One can always ascertain the truth by reading the media matrix. I know he didn't like Ron Paul and I'm not saying he's great but I would take him over any left wing pundit any day.

As if we weren't discredited

As if we weren't discredited enough by mainstream lies and marginalization, now we have the support of Rush and Glenn? No thanks. Having neo-con support is a plague.

We need to promote intelligent and thoughtful libertarian leaders. If we embrace pundits who are pretending to support libertarians (right before they stab them in the back), we will quickly lose painstakingly gained ground in the fight for truth and reason.

Nothing not to like

I've listened to Rush in the past and it's not always all bad. He even admitted Ron Paul had the best economic platform of any candidate. His problem is that he just can't let go of his war-mongering, but when you recognize that he's just one more person who believes in all the fear propaganda, you can actually feel sorry for the guy.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
James Madison

I agree

We live in this country with other people LOL :)

We can't win all by ourselves. That means we need to smile whenever someone champions the people and causes we do, even if those are people like Beck, Limbaugh, Palin, Bachmann, Gingrich etc.

We don't have to agree with everything they say, but when someone comes OUR way we should congratulate them!

Have credit card in hand

Will donate to Amish;-)

I'm not sure if this....

.... endorsement helps him or hurts him. lol

I'm gonna really try not to hold this against Amash.

But you know what they say about the company you keep...

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

hmmm well good for rush to at least come this far

now just a little further. dont stop the train at minarchism; Tall order for Rush i am sure' But minarchism is easier to work with then complete pray to the gods of statism sheeple.

conservatives and libertarians joining forces against the enemie

The enemy are the corporate/establishment Republicans.

The enemy are all Democrats with very few exceptions.

Liberty oriented conservatives made up of enlightened Tea Party people, grass roots conservatives, and Ron Paul Rational Libertarians are uniting to form the new radical center of the country.

Independents and moderates will be with us as long as we continue to uphold non-interventionism and use a respectful tone on social issues.

Let me propose this,,,

Let me propose this,,,
The establishment believes Amash is too popular to defeat.
So they use his reelection to build up the credibility of their shills like Limbaugh by allowing them to come out in favor of Amash on this one issue of Obamacare and stay relatively silent on Amash's challenger for now. My guess their real efforts will be behind the scenes to unseat Amash. Straight up vote fraud.
It will not be long before Limbaugh is back on track with his marching orders to grind on liberty with the ignorant among his listeners again.

Next time you go behind the curtain to vote it might be a good idea to pour your water bottle in the machine.
Brought to you by... "Stopping computer voting one machine at a time" super pact.

“Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian.” ― Henry Ford.

Right on

There's no doubt Limbaugh is an establishment spin doctor. He sprinkles around just enough sugar to keep the less informed hopeing for the best but just listen to the snarl or snear in his voice when he has to simply pronounce the words Rand Paul or his father Ron. That alone speaks volumes.

Ron Swanson

Let's hope

That this Limbaugh comment helps with Amash's reelection effort.

One of the more sensible

One of the more sensible comments from Limbaugh in a long time ...

oh c'mon, marvinmartian!!!

Traitor wife? Are you serious!? Do you know the Cruz family? I don't like the government but I'm not going to say everyone who works for the government is a traitor. If you keep discounting people as traitors and NWO puppets using guilt by association then we will never grow the liberty movement

No,YOU come on !

I don't need to know the Cruz family ! Are you for real ?? "everyone who works for the government" That's like saying the sun is a little warm ! We're not talking about the Library of Congress here, we're talking about the vipers den itself !! And don't put words in my mouth,no where in my comment is the fraze "NWO puppet". That's probably just on the script they gave you when you took the position as an establishment troll...

Ron Swanson

Seriously?

WTH is wrong with you? YOU, not Ted Cruz, are why people stop coming to this site, and more importantly are turned off to the message of liberty. So I'm a neocon plant now, is that it? Because I would rather look at Cruz's voting record than where his wife works? Get a life.

Sometimes I think that people like yourself don't get it. Being a purist is great, but there is nothing wrong with being pragmatic. A perfect example is when Ron Paul repeatedly said that while soc sec is unconstitutional, you can't just end it overnight. What you could do however is end foreign aid and war spending overnight.

Seriously, I feel bad for you; you're a tormented soul. I've contributed thousands to both of Dr paul's campaigns, YAL, and Campaign for Liberty. I'll continue to support people on initiatives, and if they take a position different from mine than I don't have to support it. If Ted Cruz is the 2016 nominee will I vote for him? I don't know yet. All I am saying is that we CANNOT continue to exclude an ostracize people simply because of their associations. If you want to write off Cruz based upon his body of work then that is your choice.

My comment from another post

but just as relevant here. " You have to ask yourself the question ;why is the GOP establishment promoting Ted Cruz so vigorously when Rand Paul is already everything that Cruz is being coached to mimic ??

Ron Swanson

It's sad

To see some people here on the Daily PAUL who are still fooled by neocons in libertarian clothing. The fact that they don't see through Ted Cruz and his phony libertarian acting, is just sad to me.

Know thy enemy

All that I've heard from NeoCon Bimbaugh lately is Ted Cruz Ted Cruz Ted Cruz Ted Cruz Ted Cruz Ted Cruz.. Bla Bla Bla. But conveniently , no mention of his traitor wife Heidi & her direct connection to the central banking cartels.

Ron Swanson

I didn't know he was Amish

.

I hope the Amash campaign

I hope the Amash campaign notes this and reruns the audio clip for commercials...instant win!!

Rush doesn't quite get it, it's republican cronyism

He seems confused as to why these republicans are against Amash. If you step back and take a look at why they are donating, it can be understood easily! They want a larger, big government to fund their cronyism. Truth be known they are probably donating to both parties to hedge their bets. The last thing they want is a TEA party, fiscal conservative cutting spending, they just want the spending in their direction.

I was going to say the same thing.

He is completely ignorant to why the establishment repubs take the position they have. They aren't scared to fight Obama, and it has nothing to do with the shutdown.

I no longer believe that rush is a gatekeeper. Just a partison nincompoop.

Séamusín

I heard this while on lunch

I say, "reward good behavior!"
