Cisco Blames NSA Spying for Reduced Sales

Cisco Systems executives, whose company's stock price fell Thursday in percentage terms the most since February of 2011, are pointing to US National Security Agency spying as a cause of the reduced sales of its products including networking equipment.

Big surprise!

I would imagine that most of the (conscious) world are at this moment working on ways to separate themselves from any organisation that has compromised/invaded their trust, privacy and security.

Whether the organisation had a choice in the matter or not, it does not take away from the fact they can no longer be trusted.

The Russian, Brazilian and Italian administrations along with many others are pushing the learning curve toward open source software.
