A friend sent this to me the other day. Sometimes friends can share something that is more pertinent to one's personal situation than they realize.
Everyone has their own "cross to bear" so to speak. But, no matter what challenges we may be facing, either big or small, it is important to occasionally live in the moment and be grateful for the little things..
This is a lesson I often struggle with, but strive to incorporate in my life. Hopefully it will be of some value to you as well.
(if not, you can still enjoy the pretty pictures....;)
Life can change (or end) in the blink of an eye, many times without much warning, as just happened in the Philippines.
Thanks again "photoshopwiz." You're a real sweetheart, and I'm "grateful" for your friendship and support..Peace

What do you value? What are you grateful for?
What's in your "gratitude" wallet?

blessed be to the charming gardeners :)

was one of the best videos with the saddest of endings. It baffles me as to why things like Ivory are still in demand.
Some of my happiest moments were at the lake with my 2 labs. They would both go for the ball (or practically anything) with the same enthusiasm every time.
My remaining chocolate lab is in his last weeks/months, and I'm doing what I can to spend time with him. I'm grateful to have been acquainted with two of the most amazing intelligent, intuitive, well behaved, loving and loyal dogs in the world. (of course I'm biased)
That's why I can't watch these "cop shoots another dog" videos. It stirs something very dark, that's best undisturbed. One was enough.
Speaking of elephants, have you seen this? one paint a portrait? Impressive.

Beautiful sentiments

we to often forget. Thank you for sharing this and reminding us, that when we are down counting our blessings will cheer us up.

QS..I was intrigued by your "When words fail us" post. You have no idea how close to home that hit for me and a situation I was recently dealing with. The "letter to my CO" was also pretty powerful. I was torn as to which one to respond to as they both struck a similar chord, but words failed me, and I ran out of time....:)
I hope to respond soon.

Gratitude- one of the most powerful forces known in the Universe & it's FREE...

I''m not sure who said it, but I believe it:
