Roger Stone Makes the Case Against LBJ in the Murder of JFK

In this episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, I am joined by legendary political strategist Roger Stone. Just in time for the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Stone speaks about his new must-read new book on the Kennedy assassination, The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ. We discuss why he stopped working for Republicans, before we get into the fascinating details of his book, including how such the Secret Service, Gerald Ford, Arlen Specter, and even Bill O’Reilly are all connected to the killing of the 35th President of the United States.

I call deep disinfo, they must be worried we are

...closing in on the truth to throw LBJ under the bus. Of course he can't speak lol. there is no doubt LBJ was a monster and totally complicit, but he did NOT have the Eastern Establishment, military-industrial complex connections to pull it off and mount the cover-up which continues to this day. Who did? George HW Bush, CIA/Skull and Bones whose buddy George DeMohrenschilt was Oswalds handler. I'd like to see Dr. Paul interview Russ Baker, "Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty and the Hidden History of the United States."

Key extended passages here at Russ's site:

Moreover RFK Jr. recently said his father Bobby, and now him, suspect a "rogue" faction of the CIA:

The Stone book is valuable, only because it brings us from not-a-conspiracy to it was a conspiracy. That must have been a huge step to have to take to keep the whole thing tamped down, a few bones for the CT'ers. But to say an outsider like LBJ was the mastermind is ridiculous. Now that they have admiitted to a conspiracy, let's get the WHOLE truth.

To get to the bottom you need to look at Poppy, and the Dulles brothers banking elite. They wouldn't allow some coarse redneck from Texas to choose and kill presidents. That was THEIR turf.

Release the Sandy Hook video.

I'm planning to get him on the show at some point to discuss that very book!

Stone leaves no "stone" unturned - his book discusses de Mohrenschildt, George H.W. Bush and many other figures connected to the case.

Good Book

I just finished his audiobook. This was excellent. His perspective is very valuable because he was a Republican political dirt bag himself. Very credible and well researched. He even covers RFK and ties a lot of loose ends together. The information in this book is solid and well researched. I don't think there's any new ground breaking revelations though. No doubt LBJ had blood on his hands.

Lew Rockwell Also Interviewed Roger Stone

and he made a very strong case.

After listening to the interview I bought his book. I've read many books on the JFK assassination and this one is outstanding. It tied together some loose strings for me. I found his accounts of face-to-face conversations with people to be particularly interesting.

Ron Paul interviews Roger Stone

On the eve of the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination, White House insider Roger Stone reveals the shocking truth that goes all the way to the top.

i love Ron Paul!

Just wish he had more on his channel.

Great Book

This book by Roger Stone is a must read. For me, this finally wraps up decades of reading different books on the JFK assassination and putting together what really happened. Stone cannot be discounted by any means! He is reputable and was well connected.

The "coup etat" to assassinate JFK was broad scoped and needed to be have all aspects controlled from the highest levels to succeed, this is obvious.

What seals the deal is Stone's question to Richard Nixon, who had had a few drinks, asking him who killed JFK? Nixon described the Warren Commission as “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated”, telling him: “The difference between LBJ and me was we both wanted to be president but I wouldn’t kill for it.”

alcoholic, but not a monster

"...but I wouldn’t kill for it.” -Nixon

Perhaps his Quaker roots saved him from complete conversion to the dark side.

What's less than ironic is that he didn't need to be killed to be removed.

Thanks for the audio

really impressed by this Stone guy, I've read so many JFK assassination books, he seems pretty level headed and concrete about a complex subject.

Not another Lone Nut!

There's no doubt in my mind that Lyndon Johnson was complicit in the assassination, but he was not the planner or the mastermind.

To engineer a Coup D' Etat (especially against a popular President) requires many, many things -- all of which were way outside Lyndon Johnson's ability, sophistication, imagination, or technical capacity.

So let's NOT make the Kennedy Assassination about just another "Lone Nut" -- this was a sophisticated operation orchestrated by the CIA here -- an enterprise in which only they possessed the necessary expertise, and also held the control over the U.S. News Media and magazine publications.

You can see the Secret Service agent Emory Roberts sabotaging Kennedy's normal protection by calling off the agent that was supposed to ride on the running board. Emory Roberts also ordered agents not to move when the shooting started (and remarkably they obeyed his order). The manipulation of the Autopsy (Military Intel people) were clearly something conceived and performed by experts.

There, of course, were multiple sniper teams positioned in specific positions. During the House Select Committee hearings in the 1970s, it was revealed that E. Howard Hunt was passing out maps of Dealey Plaza with entrance and exit marks and firing locations in a meeting in some Hotel (with Oswald present). In the 1970s, Frank Sturgis confessed to "we (CIA) did Kennedy" over "The Bay of Pigs".

The people directly handling Oswald included all CIA people: E. Howard Hunt, David Atlee Phillips, Guy Banister, Clay Shaw, Dr. Alton Ochsner (cancer bio-weapon), Ruth Paine, David Ferrie, Jack Ruby, etc. All of them CIA (along with Carlos Marcello who was Mafia-CIA)

Johnson himself also acknowledged (privately) that there was a conspiracy, and identified The CIA, and also Big Oil (financing).

So do not make this into something that is just all about Lyndon Johnson. He was a puppet, and happy to go along with it at the time -- although his guilt over this and Vietnam eventually caused him to get scared and refuse to even seek a 2nd-term (he was a whimp).

A sophisticated plot and multi-faceted cover-up requires sophisticated people. I put the blame on the CIA's: Ed Lansdale, William Harvey, Allen Dulles, Charles Cabell, David Atlee Phillips, E. Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis, Earle Cabell, Guy Banister, Dr. Alton Ochsner, Clay Shaw, George H. W. Bush, Averell Harriman, David Rockefeller, Ruth Paine, James Angleton, Curtis Lee May, General Lyman Lemnitzer, Emory Roberts (SS), Floyd Borring (SS), Cord Meyer, David Morales, Robert Maheu, Jack Ruby, J.E. Hoover, Richard Helms, with some assistence from Secret Service and FBI guys, Texas OIL Barons and some Mafia guys (with CIA ties), and many other low-level CIA or Military Intelligence affiliated people. And, of course, the U.S. News Media which made it all possible (just like 9-11, and Bush's stolen 2000 Election).

Lyndon Johnson was complicit, and played an active role in the cover-up, but his primary role was basically just not to rat any of these these CIA secret government people out - which is why he was put in the same parade route just 1 car behind Kennedy -- and, of course, to do what he was told once in power (Vietnam War, terminate Kennedy's U.S. Notes, Warren Commission, etc.)

The Kennedy Assassination marked the take over of this Country by a (largely) secret, shadow government. It put the CIA in charge of all U.S. Foreign Policy, and elevated their domestic role as well. It was not the work or the motivations of one man.

It was the work of an organization.

As Jim Garrison put it, "the easiest way of describing it is the CIA. Although there were many people in the CIA who loved Jack Kennedy, but NOT in this 'Bay of Pigs' sector. That's where the rabid people were."

And that's the sector of the CIA where George H. W. Bush came from, and where the Bush-Cheney-Neocon types turn to for other operations like Iran-Contra or Watergate or 9-11 or whatever that are useful to their continued control.

The Covert Paramilitary forces of this Country were the designers of the Kennedy Assassination, and they are the ones who have been in power over the last 50 years, and are still in power.

Have you read the Stone book ?

He says that many groups of people were involved in the assassination and the cover up afterwards. LBJ in the WH was the critical linchpin for pulling it off. (If Bobby Kennedy had been V.P. things would have been very different.) - - -Of course, professionals planned & carried out the details.

P.S. - anyone making an argument for one viewpoint or another should first read this book. I've been interested in this topic for some time and learned a lot from it that I hadn't known.

I can answer that question

Uh, no he has not read the book.

He is not arguing for a loan nut theory

If you listened to the audio he says Johnson had others involved including the CIA

More like The CIA had others involved including Johnson

The point is that the designers of this operation was the CIA. They do this Internationally (and domestically as we have seen in 1963, 1968, 1980, 2000, 2004).

So it is more that The CIA had others involved, including Johnson.

Personally, as far as U.S. Presidents go, I think that George H. W. Bush had more to do with it than Johnson did.

Colonel Fletcher Prouty stated that Johnson had asked J.E. Hoover after the assassination, "were any of them shooting at me"? If he had to even ask that question, then he was clearly not the guy who hired the snipers. Johnson also acknowledged that a conspiracy took place in later years -- another indication that he was not one of the central players here, but just on the periphery of things.

When you examine the way that the U.S. News Media has dug its heels in, and continues to desparately promote so many easily disprovable lies over again and again with one voice, and shutout any dissent -- it is clear that the drivers of this whole operation was and is the CIA.

That's the power that no one else controls (except for them)

It was a CIA operation

and I like Prouty, however he isn't right about everything, and he's way off when it comes to Johnson, I take his words as even though I was involved in the planning of it, maybe since these guys I conspired with are pretty dirty, who knows maybe they would kill me too, probably logical paranoia. Most evil people are paranoid.

LBJ Said All Sorts of Things as a Diversion . . .

including saying that he thought it might be a conspiracy against the whole government and done by the Russians & Cubans. (He warned Chief Justice Warren that if they dug too deep it might lead to a nuclear war and the deaths of millions.)
There is also photo evidence that LBJ ducked down in his limo as the vehicles approached the kill zone - - before the shots were fired. And, he tried to get his friend Conally to ride with him rather than with JFK, but JFK insisted because he wanted LBJ to ride with a man who was a leading Dem, but who was feuding with LBJ.

Read the book. (I won't give any more details away. Wouldn't want to ruin it for people.)

P.S. - I downloaded the Kindle version to my computer from amazon so I could read it right away. I also like to adjust the type to be bigger. Easier on the eyes.

Which came first, the CIA wanting Kennedy dead, or LBJ? Perhaps both at the same time. Perhaps LBJ used the CIA, while the CIA used LBJ. Both in many ways answer to the same powerful oil and banking interests that control foreign policy.

Stone goes into excruciating detail on all the of the connection - really impressive book!

For a topic that never gets old

We'll probably never know the truth.

Read the book

You'll feel like you have pretty good idea of the truth. Stone goes into extreme detail and really does thorough research. Absolutely fascinating read.
