Have Daily Paul followers Become Anti-Christian?

I have encountered many people in the freedom movement who reject who are even hostile to us Christians. I notice people persecute me for writing a prayer about asking God. We will lose this battle for the republic without divine providence. Do you agree or do many of you think you can win without God's help or have disdain for us God fearing people. I do not care if a person is a christian or not. Respect the right to worship or not to worship. But there are some mocking us in the movement saying we are the liability.

the truth is we do not have a prayer to win back the republic if we reject divine providence. DO you agree.

The fact this even got votes pretty much highlights how ridiculous the Daily Paul has become.

Religion is not a "you versus them" argument.

Notice I did not single out Christianity. Also, freedom is not dependent on your religious stance. People have lived free in the past in other religions.

Also, do not respond by quoting your holy book. I will just look up other passages from other holy books and the conversation will grind to a complete halt without getting anywhere.

At the end of the day all of us want to be free, Christian or Atheist or Buddhist or whatever. Can we please stick to the topics involving individual liberty?

see it that way. When I turned Christian, I was hated more. I sometimes think I am out numbered by Atheists but maybe that is the road I went down.

Most of my friends are agnostic.. we get along.

only appreciate. Most atheists have been harassed to hell for being skeptic. You should know that I actually find the concept of a God to be rather fascinating and the rich history behind the many gods and goddesses that existed. It's Religion that ruins the value. Especially when Religion ties into Politics that makes "God's" reputation gloomy and rather dark.

I can't speak to your personal experience, but I have noticed a trend amongst Christians of a "persecution complex." The fact is, Christianity is the largest religion in america, and Christians are amongst the most pandered to groups by politician. So much so that politically, it's unfeasible for a non-Christian president to be elected. In many cases the "persecution" is just a loss of traditional privilege, i.e., prayer in public schools. Libertarianism needs to be a diverse,inclusive movement. While Christians should not be shunned, libertarians should not advocate any religion or any attempts to break down the wall of separation between church and state. Perhaps you should consider there might (and I say might, because I don't know your personal experience) be a lack of perspective occuring here. Many Chrstians will post advocating their religion, or make exceptions to the libertarian philosophy based on their religious beliefs. It is understandable you may encounter a negative response from non-christians. For example, how did the posters who were harrassing you even know you were a Christian? How did it come up? If you bring up religious matters, you are essentially inviting debate.

Why do the aggressors always claim to be the victims? The objective intelligence level here has reverted back 300 years from what it was when I joined 4 years ago. Freedom is a stand alone ideology, independent and distinct from religion or any other philosophical perspective. Freedom allows religion and the freedom to believe whatever you choose, but religion does not allow freedom or have anything to do with this concept.

This is an example of what I'm talking about. Some may see natural rights as God-given. Some may see natural rights as intrinsic moral principles. If we all agree in the concept of natural rights, what's point of arguing about what their ultimate origin is? We know we won't all agree, and we are not going to change each others' minds, so why bother arguing? Let's focus on what we agree on-that natural rights are important and currently, whatever your beliefs, they are being taken away.

We have plenty of evidence for our faith, and that faith comes from Almighty God Himself!
