When I see stuff like this

I just feel real pissed off. I am reminded in painful clarity how obviously corrupt the trend of executive legislation has become, while at the same time the majority have their heads buried in the sand.

I think it comes from fear based rationalisation. When someone bases their world views in considerations of insufficiency, isolation and scarcity, it propels a logic of the need for force, control and protection. Then something like war on terror makes sense.

Freedom is a byproduct of acceptance - judge not.

Thanks Granger.

How are your chickens doing?

"Please don't say you're just a mom."

that is the response. these theodemocratic witches have no oath to the people that can not be issued away, they have smoke and mirrors and boy do they cling to the mirrors.. no "you're a hero." just a negation tactic based entirely on semantics and not semiosis... makes me think they can not process information semiotically, they have to focus on ends to justify their means.

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

Exactly.

What an arrogant, insulting distraction that comment was.

It was indeed a negation tactic. It's too bad the Mom didn't go on the offensive at that moment, "My point is I have no special interest I'm beholden to. I am defending my and YOUR individual right to life (and to trial) as a citizen of the United States. Will YOU stand with Liberty and push this resolution forward? YOU, as a U.S. citizen who values your personal Freedom (I assume), who (I assume) is alarmed by the unmasked tyranny of the NDAA which says the gov't can and does murder citizens illegally...will YOU do what you can AS JUST ONE PERSON (as JUST A MOM) on this city council, will you stand with Liberty or will you side with tyranny by your 'go along to get along' silence??"

I would have loved to have seen that smug woman's reaction to that bold challenge.

She makes me wish I was from Nevada.

This is one huge reason why we should have stay home moms.
Imagine how politicians could be brought to the whipping post for every transgression by millions of moms like her :D
